 Seeing that his flames had finally managed to hit Charlotte, Divine continued smiling as he noticed that she was frowning, it appears as though he was getting to her. Suddenly, Charlotte came down at him and swung her scythe. Divine side-stepped her scythe, but in the process, one of his wings would be chopped off instead. Not showing any pain or acknowledging his wing's destruction. Divine quickly rebounded by turning around quickly and using his lance to try and pierce her arm. The way in which he moved seemed like he was finally taking this battle seriously, but there still seemed to be something off about him.
As Divine and Charlotte, seemed to have finally gotten serious. Kain would still be laying unconscious on the ground. Harold stood before him and spoke as though they had really killed the knight. Bragging about killing Kain, Harold then reached down to pull of his helmet, at the same moment, Michi had also made her way over towards Kain and pointed the tip of her blade at his neck. While this was happening, Kain showed no signs of movement and as Harold's massive claws grabbed his helmet and began to take it off, Kain's short white hair would be the first to appear, continuing taking off his helmet, Kain's eyes would be closed and his face and parts of his hair was covered in blood.
Suddenly, Kain's eyes opened, revealing them to no longer be crimson as they were shown to be earlier and his hand reached up and grabbed Harold's wrist, stopping him from claiming his prize. With his eyes opened, Kain's soul appeared around his body and became visible to all of those around. If anyone had seen Atticus' soul, then they would be able to see that both Kain's and Atticus' souls were identical as proof of this, Atticus' soul began resonating with Kain's, but this was unknown to Atticus at the time. Just then, Kain's soul vanished along with his body. "Well played, young ones." his voice would say as Kain appeared in the air above them all, his armor still heavily damaged and his body as well, but his power seemed to have came back to him. "I let my guard down around you and payed the price for it, so I will no longer treat you all as children. No, now you are my prey." Kain stated as he landed on the ground.
The moment, his foot touched the ground, Kain ran towards Michi and Harold. Summoning forth his two swords yet again and unleashed dozens of white energy slashes at the two. He would then look over to where Aislin was and unleash a massive white orb right at her, he also unleashed the same orb at Shira as well. As he did that, Kain's sole attention then went to Emma, the one who had been damaging him the whole time. Disappearing and reappearing in the air behind her, Kain coated his sword with his energy and attempted to slice off both of her tails. With this, Kain had successfully unleashed an deadly and hellish assault on all of them in only a matter or minutes, if this is what he is truly capable of, then things will only get harder from here on out.

 CharlotteThe Nightmare Witch-in her prime- Charlotte quickly moved so her scythe would hit his weapon with a clang. She disappeared and appeared behind him, swinging once more. "Why the hell can't you just keep your own territory. There is nothing here but rubble now for you, you pompous a**!" She snapped.

 The Next Shinigami ◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• Shira seemed distracted by the fact that Atticus and Kain were identical soul wise. She snapped out of it in time though to suddenly jump out of the way of the attack and landed on the ground with a sigh "Too close..." she muttered. The flames suddenly spread again, revealing a new set of tails. She whipped around, sending a large paw right at him. ☾

Never again... Harold was not pleased with this new chain of events, having thought they had defeated Kain. He raised in eyebrow in confusion as he recognized Kain's soul as being the exact same as Atticus's. "What the heck...? Are they twins?" Harold muttered. Not twins corrected Eric. That's Atticus from the past. That's strange, I always thought of him as being our age, but it seems he only looks that way? We knew he was with Divine as some point. I suppose this is it. Though I wonder what happened to cause his shift to our side? Eric trailed off in thought as he considered the possibilities. Hey, uhh...Eric? He just got stronger. How do we kill him now? Harold asked, interrupting him. Eric was silent for a moment. Crap if I know. Keep attacking him, he said finally. What!? What kind of- Just then Kain launched his new assault, forcing Harold to react. He quickly turned Dara into a chain scythe and spun her around in front of him rapidly, deflecting the white slashes of energy Kain had thrown at them. He turned in time to see Emma's tails regrow and tracked Kain with the chain scythe, finally launching the scythe portion at Kain with all his strength, attempting to wrap him in the chains and yank him back down to the ground. Will I be bound in chains...

 Max nodded. Even though their full attack hadn't worked, they had still damaged Kain, and their chain resonance had given them more than enough power to use Absolution without wearing themselves out. Both the swords Aislin was holding flashed and turned into black and white energy. The energy swirled together for a moment before transforming into a larger sword that landed in her hands. This should turn the heat up on him Max told Aislin through the reflection in the blade. Now that Max was at full strength, each attack Aislin unleashed would be devastating.

Looking on as the tails he had just cut off, just vanished, Kain would soon focus back on Emma, just as she seemingly regrew the tails as if they were nothing. Emma then turned around and attempted to attack him again. This time, Kain was not going to hold himself back, he had already declared them as his prey and now he was on the hunt. Holding up his sword in front of him in a 'X' formation, Kain blocked Emma's paw and didn't even budge an inch, showing his increase in strength and endurance. Pushing back Emma's claw, Kain moved in and tried to slice her entire left paw and arm off.
As he made his move towards Emma, Kain was forced to cancel his assault on her, as Harold used his chain scythe and tried to use the same method that they did earlier and bound him back to the ground. "The same technique will not work on me twice." Kain shouted towards Harold. Kain vanished, avoiding the chain scythe and landed in front of Harold, his blades at the ready. He then lunged forwards at Harold, attempting the same attack he was going to use on Emma, but instead of aiming for Harold's arms, Kain aimed to slash him across the chest.
"Shira, keep your head in the game. This is not the time to be daydreaming" Atticus warned as he did not see Kain's soul. "I think it is time for us to get in there and fight as well." he told her. Back at where Divine and Charlotte were, their fight was moving along nicely. Moving his lance behind him, Divine blocked Charlotte's scythe. He would then turn to face her, "It isn't about territory, I could careless about that. All I want is power and the more land I conquer the more my power and dominance grows." Divine said as he dashed at Charlotte and unleashed a barrage of strikes at her.

It seemed her body was made up of this blue and black fire and she could make it solid when she wanted. She saw him try and attack Harold and her tail lashed out at Kain from the side. ☾

CharlotteThe Nightmare Witch-in her prime- "Sheesh, I don't even know why the hell Sera likes you..." Charlotte muttered as she managed to disappear and appear not to far away, a few cuts on her now. "Too much of a good thing is bad for you ya know? Ever hear that one before? You will just be screwing yourself over for a beating if you keep up this little power obsession of yours." Charlotte warned as orbs of dark energy appeared around Divine and began growing and exploding again, only the force would go back and forth so, if it hit properly, it would send Divine and debris flying in all directions.

Sensing Kain's power increase, a smirk came across Divine's face, "And the beast finally awakens. Poor children, they've got no chance against Kain now, he is, after all, my equal." Divine told Charlotte, as she mentioned the witch Sera, who, he had heard of a long time ago, "A witch and a demon? Disgusting, perhaps I should deal with her next." As he said this, Divine would be caught up in Charlotte's explosions. His body began flying around in the air, being constantly pummeled by the fire and debris, resulting in him taking major damage. Landing on the ground, Divine spit out blood and smirked, "Charlotte, I find it odd that you have not figured it out yet." he said as he unleashed thousands of black energy blasts at her.
Seeing the shock-wave, Kain stopped in his tracks, just as he was going to attack Harold, he was interrupted yet again, this time by Michi and Emma. Not having enough time to react, Kain had no choice but to turned to his left, dodging Emma's tail, but allowing for Michi's slash to hit his shoulder, but since he was wearing armor, the slash didn't really do that much damage. Quickly rebounding from this, Kain spun around with both his blades out, creating a deadly vortex of shredding wind and energy, attempting to shred both Harold and Michi since they were the closets to him.
Sighing, Atticus knew that as long as Shira was like this, the two of them were no good to the others. Jumping out of Shira's hand and landing on the ground in front of her, Atticus seemed prepared to finally step into battle. "Despite my detest of violence. Just this once, I will resort to the way I was before." he told Shira as he looked back at her, "I will gladly give my life to protect you, Shira." With that, Atticus transformed his hand and dashed out towards the others, "Shira, stay there and provide back-up to us. You are still able to use some techniques, despite not knowing them, I have faith in you." Atticus shouted back at her.

CharlotteThe Nightmare Witch-in her prime- Charlotte shot a menacing glare at Divine for a few moments as he basically insulted her friend. It quickly disappeared back into a void expression as she tried to dodge the black energy blasts. She ended up getting hit by a few moment them and was slammed into the ground. She winced as she managed to stand up "That one hurt..." She muttered as she managed to get up, wiping some blood from her mouth. "What? That your a huge a**? Knew that already." she stated. She did have a bad feeling about what he meant though.

Aislin smiled as she felt the comfortable weight of Max's new form in her hands. She hoped this would deliver the damage she thought of. Luckily, Kain was still busied by Michi and Harold constantly attacking one after another. Right before Aislin was about to attack, Kain unleashed an attack that could both potentially injure Michi and Harold. It seemed he was really only focusing on them so she carefully made a quarter circle to have his back facing to her. Ever so stealthily she quickly ran to build up momentum and jumped. Mid-air she swung the sword down hoping to cause severe damage to his arm and shoulder.
