Selphie sighed as she heard the grim news. "Well, I guess we're going to be travelling to Dokusei village then, although it's really not that far from Paysage, I think it's actually the next town." If Selphie remembered correctly, that was the poison type gym. she didn't exactly have a Pokemon designed for that place, but maybe Pidgey would be useful. "I think you'd be a Snorlax." Selphie tried to keep a straight face before laughing aloud, "Kidding! Probably a Skarmory, although I'm not really sure."

he stared at her as part of his jacket fell from the wind with a blank look on his face when she mentioned he would be a snorlax and then regained his composure when she had mentioned she was kidding. "I think you would a Rampardos" he wasnt laughing he thought that her attitude seemed to match that of the tyrannical attitude of the Rampardos but then he started to laugh

Selphie groaned as he mentioned the Rampardos. They were so bulky and violent, she was definitely neither of those, "Whatever. I'm more of a graceful Swanna or Swellow. Either of them would fit me perfectly. Come on, let's go to the Pokemon Center."
Selphie ran off before she could listen to Seth's reply, if he was even going to have one. She liked the Pokemon she gave herself and she didn't need to hear his two cents, not now anyways.
Selphie walked into the Pokemon Center to see four men standing around, "Wow, a bunch of hot guys, tee-hee," Selphie said under her breath, although knowing her luck, they were probably all gay.
She walked up to the Nurse and handed Deino to her before waiting for Seth to get there and get his Pokemon to the nurse as well.

Seth walked in not being fast as he had realized maybe he had pissed Selphie off which he was hoping he didnt he liked her until he saw all of the half-naked guys in the pokemon center and when he did he let out some personal info he thought he had said in his head "Great there goes my chance..." he happened to say that next to Selphie when he handed the Nurse his pokemon but he never did catch that he said what he did out load

Selphie watched as Seth walked in, but decided not to ask what the 'there goes my chance' was about. Selphie nudged Seth and whispered, "Check out all the hot guys! I wonder if there's a male strip club somewhere in this town." Selphie giggled aloud like a little kid in a chocolate factory. There was so much candy to choose from it was a little overwhelming. "Eeek, check out the guy with orange and blonde hair!" Selphie couldn't help but giggle more. It was almost as though she just took a pill or something that made her giddy. "I hope our Pokemon never get healed at this rate, Eh-Heh!"

Seth sighed yet again as he turned around leaning on the counter "i was hoping i would have been the one" he wasn't thinking again and let out his thoughts yet again and not catching himself. Seth did notice there were a lot of guys in Coria Selphie and the professor were the only females he met besides Nurse joy but then again she was everywhere so it didnt even matter

Selphie could hear Seth and she kind of figured that she knew what was going on: He had a girlfriend back home and he was worried that she was cheating. That was none of her business though, so Selphie decided to get his mind off of it. "Well, that was a fun battle right? Pretty tough and poor Deino had to deal with two reversals, one from Pawniard and one from Pikachu."

It seemed that Selphie could not tell that Seth had a crush on her and it actually kinda saddened him a little but at the same time it was a bit of a relieve "Well one was Revenge and the other was Reversal either way your Deino sure knows how to stand to his weaknesses and that is very good" Seth grunted as he kinda wanted Selphie to know he liked her

Selphie nodded in response to Seth. "I guess that's one thing Deino is going to have to work on is learning how to dodge some of these attacks, especially the close range ones, he's not fast." Selphie turned her head back to the other guys in the building but there was something about them that seemed a bit 'different.' "They're cute and all but they're more like fantasy kind of guys. That wouldn't work for me. I can't get too caught up in a relationship, not while I'm travelling. I made that mistake before, it's not going to happen again." Selphie laughed before taking her Pokemon back from the nurse. Since they weren't knocked out, it didn't take her long to get them fully healed.

Seth actually looked depressed now when she had said that "...ah is that so..." he had replied to the 'Fantasy guys' statement. Seth took his pokemon back from the Nurse and then he replied to the deino subject "Pi can help you with that or i could train Deino a little bit with a bit of sword play" he still seemed depressed but it lightened up a bit as he looked into her eyes seeing the burning fire of a seasoned trainer

This whole thing about Seth's girlfriend back in his home region must've been a really tough thing for him to think about because his whole demeanor seemed to go south whenever he thought about the hot guys here. Selphie wanted to comfort him and reassure him that if his girlfriend was willing to cheat, then she wasn't worth the trouble, but at the same time, it wasn't Selphie's business to get involved. "Hmm, okay, let's head to Paysage. I think we could make it there if we started right now, besides, I wanted to catch another Pokemon at the Mammot Lakes." Selphie walked out the front entrance of the Pokemon Center and waited on the side of the road for Seth to come out as well so that they could begin their trip.

Seth walked outside with Selphie. It seemed that she was thinking that something else was going on with Seth's attitude. "Mammut Lake huh? that sounds like a good place to train our pokemon it must be peaceful there was well" his attitude did change though

Selphie nodded and pointed to Seth, "I hope so, you can try and catch yourself another Pokemon as well. The second gym leader uses two Pokemon, which means that you'll be fighting at a disadvantage if you allow yourself to only have two Pokemon. I know Razor would have an advantage being a steel type and all... But gym leaders often times prepare for the worst since people like to challenge them with a type-weakness." Selphie began to walk down the road, thinking about all the things in store, "Come on Seth, we need to get going if we want to make it there before nightfall."

Izo shrugged, realizing that trying to negotiate the behavior of Raiden was out of the picture, not that he really cared too much about that anyways. He was simply saying it for show. “That’s fine, I didn’t think he would compromise anyways. I don’t think he’s trying to harm Hansuke anyways…” Izo watched them a bit longer before turning his attention back to Lazarus, “So about that battle, how about we round them up and head out to the courtyard? We might be able to have a pretty decent battle.” Izo was more so excited about seeing Hansuke battling than himself since Hansuke was the one who needed more training. Izo knew how to fight in a battle, even when up against a stronger opponent because he always looked at those situations as life or death and was often times able to pull off amazing victories. “Let’s say… Two on two since that seems to be the only amount both of us have.” Izo smiled happily, forcing the idea of a battle being a good thing on himself.
Hansuke was beginning to warm up to Raiden, although his trust in him was far from realistic. He didn’t believe that Raiden had too many good bones in his body, and that he was just two-faced or something like that, but still, Hansuke was going to make the effort to appear nice and generous to this man. “Yeah, I’m going to ba-battle him, but I’m nervous because I’ve never been in a Pokémon battle before.” Hansuke blushed at his own ignorance when it came to Pokémon. He didn’t like having to admit that he didn’t know anything about them, but it wasn’t going to get him down. “Yup… I don’t know though. I-I’m just nervous about fighting. W-What if my Pokémon don’t listen to me or something.” Hansuke sighed and shook his head, trying to remove doubts.

Lazarus giggled as he watched Izo shrug. It was clear that Izo wasn’t too concerned about Raiden misbehaving; otherwise he would’ve been more stubborn about it. “I guess that whole Raiden thing was something you wanted to throw out in the negotiations eh? I don’t mind travelling with you guys to be honest, it’s Raiden you would have to talk to about those things. He’s the one with the beef to pick about everything.” Lazarus nodded in agreement to Izo as he explained that Raiden wouldn’t harm Hansuke, “No, he wouldn’t do that, he’s not that bad.” Lazarus scoffed off the comment about a decent battle. “Yeah, of course we will, it’s not even up for debate. I’m interested in seeing how a new trainer fights; it’s been awhile since I got to have a walk in the park… so to speak.” Lazarus laughed, simply trying to let Izo know what he was messing around. “No, I see a lot of potential in Hansuke, and believe me, I know when I see potential, and I came in the top two of the Johto region.” Lazarus pointed to himself and continued, “The goggles on my forehead are a gift from Lance, the champion of the Johto Region. Also, two on two sounds awesome.” Lazarus wasn’t too sure if the smile on Izo’s face was forced or not, but it was probably best not to go and question it.
At the counter, Raiden was getting a little bit too excited about how Hansuke was actually making conversation. He was practically right in Hansuke’s face as he spoke now. “You’re going to do fine, don’t think about it too much.” After finding himself near on tippie toes, Raiden took several steps back, not wanting to give the wrong impression like he felt like he was doing all this time. “Your Pokémon will listen to you. Just speak with clarity and confidence.” Raiden folded his arms and leaned against the counter, trying to go back to the calm and collected persona he was trying to work on, but he didn’t know if it was too late to go back to that. “Nerves are fine to have, just don’t let them control your actions. Be yourself.” Raiden nodded to himself as though he liked the answer he just gave.
