With: A hoard of demonsSlapping one of the demons across the face with the bow itself, it disintegrated from the sheer power of the bow itself. Watching the two girls get lifted and placed onto the fan, and then the youkai get slain, Keita looked away for a moment. Pulling an arrow out of his quiver as the woman took off with the girls, he pulled back on the arrow before letting it go. As his Spiritual Energy coated the arrow itself, it just missed Kagura's feather shooting off into the sky before dispersing. Looking around for anyone else, he noticed a boy (Masato) clutching a bow within his hands, yet he had no arrows. Under normal circumstances, Keita would have given the boy an arrow, but he did not know if the boy could shoot, or had any type of archery training.
Only a few demons remained and upon pulling out his last arrow, it began to glow with amount of spiritual energy Keita was placing into it. Releasing the arrow, it shot past the demons exhibiting its spiritual energy before it lodged itself into the side of a tree. The remaining demons that the arrow had passed stood still for a moment before disintegrating under his power. "Kino. Lorelai.." spoke Keita quietly as he slid down and onto the ground. He had just watched the two girls get kidnapped without doing anything to stop it, which meant that he'd have to get it back. Turning to the male, he stood up and spoke. "Can you help me save our friends?" questioned Keita as he beckoned for the male to follow back to Kaede's hut. Once inside of the hut, he began pulling arrows into his quiver before turning to Granny Kaede who had returned inside. "How can we find them?" If they had a jewel shard on them, then Keita could easily follow them, but he doubted they had one.

Go Shikigami!  Masato caught sight of a feather floating in the sky, he hadn't seen something that large before and made him think that there was some large bird. When he looked closely, he could see a bit of movement on top of the white feather. Two people were on top and what they were fumbling around with in their arms was a long strand of what look like rope. His eyes wandered towards to youkai staring at the feather, just what was that thing doing? He squinted hard to focus on closely to what was in both of the creature's hands. His eyes widen at what the monster had in its grasp, two girls that he instantly recognized. He was shocked of Lorelai and Kino's capture, if only he were here sooner. He watched two insects flying down to grab the two girls, hoisting them into the air, and carried back to the feather. He could guess what those two were gonna do next and that wold be tying them up to prevent their escape. So they were here to only capture Lorelai and Kino? To kidnap them alive as hostages is a strategy, but what those strangers do with them that was something he was uncertain.
Masato watched a woman stand up and held in her hand of some item, it look like a fan or some wide edged object. Whatever it was, she swung her arm around and a large gale of wind had sliced up the yokai. So even yokai will kill their own kind for the effort in their service? His hands clenched, but soften his grip, now wasn't the time to let his anger run loose. He would have to help get them back, he wasn't going to lose his friends that easily to a bunch of youkai. The woman flew off into the air and vanished from his sight, he looked at the blue sky in the direction the two strangers headed. The sounds of battle still waged, only to glance at the remaining individual among the raging brawl. The male pulled back his bow, he could sense the spiritual energy being gathered into one spot. He released his grip, the bow strum as the arrow flew across the few youkai charging in for the kill. At first, he thought that he missed them only to struck the tree. The youkai, however, were destroyed only to leave no remains behind. Masato could no longer sense any demonic aura in the vicinity, there wasn't any youkai left that would assault them now.
The man looked in Masato's direction, noticing his presence through the many trees that were surrounding them. He was sitting for one minute and up the next, he already got the idea that the man was stumped about this incident. The man spoke up, asking for help for their friends that have become captives. He had beckoned him to follow after him and, without a word, the two head back to the village. They were now in Kaede's hut, the room was empty and the two were the only ones left. Neither had spoke to each other, Masato patiently watched the stranger restock his arrows into his quiver. Masato cautiously turned his attention to Kaede, who had entered her hut. They were waiting for her, but the male didn't waste no time and was going straight to what they were going to do. Masato was busy stroking the fox shikigami on his lap, the other four were curling up on each side. He waited for Kaede to speak, they couldn't do anything without a lead.Location - Kaede's Village

 S H I P P OShippo had gone about running after some children once he gave up on figuring out who Keita was. Then suddenly, a dark feeling nagged the back of his mind from part of the forest. He ran to Kaede. "Lady Kaede! What is that!?" The young fox kit turned in time to see Kagura's giant feather lift into the sky. He scented Kinoka and Lorelai along with the faint smell of Naraku coming from Kagura. His eyes widened as he realized what was happening. He tugged on Kaede's sleeve. "It's Naraku! He's kidnapped them! What do we do!? Inuyasha's still not back!!!" He forced back tears, though he felt as if his world was falling apart.

Lady Kaede put a reassuring hand on Shippo's shoulder and gave him a warm smile. "There now Shippo, all is not lost just yet. We still have plenty of willing people here in the village who I'm sure will gladly help us get our friends back." Her face turned serious as she got down to business. "Now. I need ye to go inform Lorelai's grandfather on what has happened if he does not know already. I think the two of ye should go track down where Naraku is keeping Lorelai and Kino, but be sure to avoid drawing any attention to yourselves and come straight back once ye have any news. Meanwhile, I think it would be wise if everyone else who is willing should meet at my hut and form a strategy for taking Naraku's castle. With luck, we'll be able to head out once you return with Lorelai and Kino's whereabouts. Do ye think ye can handle this very important task, Shippo? With Inuyasha and the others absent, ye are the only one here who recognizes Naraku's scent and can lead us to him."

S H I P P OShippo paused for a moment. He would have to go after Naraku without Inuyasha and his Tessaiga or Kagome with her arrows. Even the new demons in town wouldn't be there. Though he wanted to go after the Thunder Brothers on his own, Naraku was different. He was much more powerful. And even when the little fox had gone after the Thunder Brothers, Inuyasha and Kagome had been there to help. Shippo sighed quietly, then looked up at Kaede and nodded. "I'll do what I can."

•Inventory?: A wide variety of herbs and Mekai plants & A bond with Hotaru "You should never corner an animal such as a fox...we have a tendency to show our fangs" ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ Lets see...a few hours have past and a lot happened: A horde of demons attacked the village, a conspiracy plot to kidnap both Lori and Kinoka happened and after all that the demons left. Kurama............slept through the whole thing he must have been really out of it to have not been awakened by this chaos. Seeing as no one had approached him or tried to wake him either. When he finally did wake, and saw the aftermath of the most recent attack. He immiedietly knew that something else is wrong. He approached the shrine and those near the base of it, the archer Keita, Masato, Shippo and Kaede. "What happened?" He spoke up aloud to get everyone's attention. He could have done something to prevent this, he felt much at fought for letting this happen. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

Kaede turned to Kurama as she explained, "Our friends Lorelai and Kinoka have been abducted by Kagura. There's no doubt Naraku is behind this. I propose a plan of action should be formed before rushing after Naraku's scent." Kaede returned her attention to Shippo and shook her head at the little fox. "Ye misunderstand Shippo, we certainly aren't going to send ye to track down Naraku's castle on your own. But ye are the only one here who will recognize Naraku's scent, therefor ye will be leading the search party."
Lorelai's panic-stricken grandfather entered the scene after having been informed by one of the villagers as to what had happened to his granddaughter and Kino. Due to his distress, he quickly babbled to anyone who would listen, "How could I have not noticed me own granddaughter was being carried away! Please, if there is anything I can do to help I beg you to let me go with you!"

Word gets around in the lesser demon circles. Kurama has not met this Half-breed naraku, but he has certainly heard of him. "Naraku...the abomination. A creature that is made up of thousands of low demons attached to a single foolish human soul? He uses the power of the shikon no tama to improve his power and birth out incarnations such as the wind sorceress, Kagura and the the child of nothing, Kanna with her soul devouring mirror. It is said that he has a few human servants and a miasma strong enough to suffocate the life out of most forms of life save for the most powerful of yokai." Kurama quite effectively summarized what Naraku is and what power he holds. As the King of Thieves and well tuned with many gossip circles of the animal kingdom and demon circles of his kin, and having a significant acute awareness of the spiritual world, foxes are good for keeping up with the news of the world, and other worlds.
"So he has Lori and Kino...we will get them back. We should move as soon as possible. Who all is going? Does Lady Hotaru know?" He fell into the role of alurt action and soldier guy. He had missed out earlier on the kidnapping, he could have stopped it from happening so he will do whatever he can to make up for that lack. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

Go Shikigami! The little fox had entered the hut with alert of the whole news of their friends being kidnapped. Of course, everyone was aware of the situation at the moment when they arrived to the hut, even Masato was there when he watched them being taken back to Naraku's. Crying over it wasn't gonna help them bring back their friends, they would have to plan something out to get Lorelai and Kino back. Kaede had shared about tracking down to where Naraku was located, it was a small stepping stone that would help them get an idea where he was at. Shippo seemed to be the only one capable of tracking them down, so best to put faith on their little demon friend.
Kurama had come into the picture, unaware of the event that had come to pass. Kaede had already given him the details, to get a brief understanding of what had happen when he wasn't around. Another person burst into the room and to recognize the man was Lorelai's grandfather. He could understand the old fox to work his granddaughter, but for now they need a plan and form this party to prepare in search of the girls. His attention switched to Kurama, giving brief information of Naraku. He was uncertain how he should feel about this man who had become demon in a quest for power of his own.
Now, who will volunteer in this search party was the one question coming into mind. He looked down at his Shikigami and studying the spirit for a few moments. The fox raised his head and stared back at him, he seemed to be searching for some answer. The other foxes raised their heads and turned their attention to him with their tired eyes. The Shikigami on his lap leaped off, he rose to his feet and looked at Kurama. "I'll go. As for Hotaru..." He did remember her departing on such a notice, but she may have known something. The kidnapping, that he was uncertain. "I believe she knows of the attack, but not sure if she's aware of the kidnapping." He turned to looked at Kaede. "I wish to help out with this rescue mission."Location - Kaede's Village

Arrows: 30/30 (+5 in small bag)As Keita continued putting arrows into his quiver, he turned as Shippo entered the hut yellng for Granny Kaede. It hurt to know that he could not have helped more to save the two girls, but now he would fix everything. It was not long before a red-headed demon approached them as well, altohugh he gave off no ill intent. After Granny Kaede had explained, another rather old male entered the hut looking for his granddaugher. Turning now so that he could look at everyone, he perked up when Kurama began to explain about who they were up against. Upon hearing that Naraku used the Shikon no Tama in order to make himself stronger, Keita put a hand into the small pouch that came with the new outfit given to him so he was no longer wearing his school uniform.
"I have one of those shards. The monk at the temple where I was found said to keep purifiying it." As he spoke, Keita lifted the shard out of the small pouch. The shard itself glowed brightly from being constantly purified. After giving everyone a moment to look at it, he placed it back into the pouch before speaking. "I'm going with you as well." spoke Keita as he stood up. They would need people with some experience fighting, and the week he was with the monks at the temple they taught him as best they could.

S H I P P OShippo looked around at the group. He was slightly relieved when Kaede said he wouldn't go alone. But he wasn't sure about the people gonig with him. With Kagome and Inuyasha, he was treated equally. He was slightly afraid that these other men would treat him more like a child. But he was the only one who knew Naraku's scent, and the only one who could lead them to the girls. Maybe that would help. {{ Okay, so the group is Shippo, Kurama, Gramps, Keita, and Masato. Did I forget anyone?? }}

"Then we had best be at it, which way did they go?" He asked, they would need to travel light and be on the road. Though he felt that someone ought to find Lady Hotaru and see what she planned to do. It is likely that if she wants to go with them that she would be able to catch up to them fairly easily. They cannot afford to delay in case something should happen to those women. If the Kit is the only one who knows Naraku's scent and is therefore their guide in a way, Kurama considered Shippo. Should he teach the Kit some new tricks? Perhaps see if he can tap into his true yokai state yet. He is a child and his own fox magic is best used for pranks and pure defense in serious situations. He wouldn't want to put the Kit in waters too deep for him to handle. But he felt that he needed to know the extent of the Kit's abilities while on the road. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

Go Shikigami! Masato did the best he could to retrieve his memories of where Hotaru was heading at. Digging into his thoughts, he recalled Hotaru saying about her returning to the shrine. He shifted his gaze to Kurama. "She might be at the shrine... but I'm not sure if she's still there." Her departure and the attack were at two different times, if he had a watch he could keep track of how long had it passed since he seen her. He could use his phone, but that would have been helpful earlier to know. He brought his hand over his chin, thinking. "She didn't leave that long ago, so she must be still there..." He began talking to himself.Location - Kaede's Village

Kaede's eyes narrowed as Kurama gave quite an accurate description of who they were up against. "Oh aye, I know of Naraku's reputation all too well. All the more reason to reclaim our friends as quickly as we can. I know not Naraku's intentions for kidnapping Lorelai and Kinoka, but they're never good." Kaede nodded in approval as Gramps, Kurama, Keita, and Masato all volunteered to go with Shippo and help him track down Naraku's scent. Now it seemed the only one missing from the group was Lady Hotaru. "Very good, there is strength in numbers. I'm afraid I will not be joining ye as I am needed here, but I wish all of ye the best of luck."
Gramps' expression hardened at the mention of Naraku as even he knew of the demon's unsavory reputation. In fact, Naraku was one of the top ten demons Gramps had always warned Lorelai to avoid at all costs with Sesshomaru coming in a close second due to his merciless behavior towards both humans and half-demons.
"That fiend. I suppose it makes sense Naraku would be behind this, but why on earth would he want to kidnap Lorelai and Kinoka? I thought he only went after powerful demons to absorb them, so what would he be thinking in kidnapping two female foxes?" He shook with rage at the thought of the girls in Naraku's clutches, but quickly forced himself to calm down. He would be of no help to anyone if he lost his cool and acted out of anger as every instinct was telling him to take off on his own to hunt down Naraku himself.
After taking a deep breath to calm himself, Gramps turned his attention to Shippo and gave the boy a warm smile. "What do you think, Shippo lad? Would you like to ride on my back while we hunt down Naraku once the group is ready to set out? I'll be in full fox form of course, so you could yell directions which way to go or give my hair a pull in the right direction." Gramps gave Shippo a reassuring wink as he added, I know you're a speedy fellow in your own right, I just thought we might cover more ground that way. If any trouble pops up, I'll be able to put up a portable shield around us that would at least help keep out any lesser demons Naraku might send after us if he catches wind of what we're up to. My fighting skills may be rusty since I haven't had a need to use them in quite a while, but I think my barriers are still decent at least." Gramps took a look around the group of volunteers and noticed Masato was missing. Perhaps the boy had gone off to find Lady Hotaru? Gramps scratched his head as he pondered in uncertainty, "So I take it we're simply waiting for Masato to return with Lady Hotaru? Or are we ready to go now and just let Lady Hotaru catch up to us?" Gramps thought it would be rude to ask aloud, but silently he wondered if Lady Hotaru had recovered enough to help in their rescue mission.

  Hiro had limped straight to his lady. He entered the Shrine, heading to Hotaru's scent. As he reached her, he gingerly laid himself on the ground. After a few seconds, Hotaru's cool gaze moved to him. "Hiro..." "Forgive me my Lady. I failed in protecting your friend." Hotaru's eyes widened. What had happened to Kino? She turned and inspected her retainer. He would be unable to travel with her any longer. The stench had infiltrated his body, poisoning him. He would die. He had been injected with a lethal dose. Sadness echoed in her eyes. "No, you did not fail me... " She watched him give a shuddering breath before he breathed no more. A single tear slipped down her cheek. She in haled the scent of the poison. She would find the creature that did this and destroy him.
Standing abruptly, she lifted Hiro into her arms and fled the shrine. She would bury him in the gardens and then would begin to take action against the nasty being who had done this. She didn't think twice about telling anyone. Kurama would feel the agony and heartbreak their bond reflected with each other. He would know of her anger.
