As the final rifle shot and hit the damn thing, Marcus felt it. Hope. They might survive after all. Sadly, nothing was guaranteed as the titan vanished, leaving them with a slightly worse problem. Ice and snow and freezing water. Marcus was not keen on the idea of taking a swim. At least with tentacle beast, it would have probably been fast.
Probably but, nothing was a safe bet.
The sleds were covered leaving Marcus to focus on what he was being told to do from one angry vampire that lived in his head. Survive, run, don't look back.
Running across a slab of ice he didn't anticipate a killer ******** whale. Cursing he wasn't wanting to die by killer whale either. He managed to stay out of it's range, but when it pulled a belly flop and sent him flying? Marcus was just glad he knew how to go into a roll from a fall.

Going from one ice slab to another wasn't a vast improvement really, and judging from the fact people were still running, not to mention the fact s**t was going to hell in a hand basket, Marcus wasn't thinking he was anywhere close to safe. A crack behind him had Dis hissing, propelling the moon trainee forward as he resumed his running, but not matter how fast his legs carried him, it wasn't seeming to help the crack of ice behind him. Dis told him not to look back but when he did, he almost stopping. The ice was vanishing and if he didn't move he'd go with it.
The shitty part was the fact he was sinking, the entire section he was on descending. By the time he reached a non sinking section he was forced to jump, barely having enough time to summon his sword to dig it into the ice, using it as a handle. The vampire hissed at him again, urging him on.

His running didn't have to last very long however, as he reached a portion that was for all he could tell, solid. Safe even. Looking around, others had made it as well, and some looked more damaged than others. The doctor, the artifact was furthest from his mind. He'd survived and made it out. He could be concerned about others, he could do what he was supposed to do.
Calling out to those who'd reached the more solid ground, he hoped that none of the bodies on the sled were past the point of no return. He had one set of bandages left, and really, if the wouldn't didn't get them, it was possible the cold still might.
"Who needs to be healed?"

The ice continued to rock and flip, sending him launching back onto the eye, skidding to a stop at Ennea's feet.

Those who didn't learn to fly would just sink and die in this frozen wasteland. Mercedes on the other hand was like a damn sloth being picked up by the heavens and carried over to the next pieces of ice.

Ennéa lost her footing yet again and rolled. She just couldn't seem to be able to escape this stupid eye!
She struggled back up to her feet and tried again, wincing in sympathy at Jerry's attempts to make it to safe ground. "You can do it, Jerry!" She shouted encouragement as she bounced across the eye.

That was an eye.
And she was on it.
Oh god. It was half watching her and she just - NOPE!! Cass sliced through a few of the tentacles assaulting her and just kept running. She'd had enough close encounters with the tentacles and her 'innocence'. Seriously.
She didn't want to be in the movie, she wasn't going to sign the consent form. Leave her alone.

After a couple scraped knees on the ice and learning out to successfully soar through the air on buttwings Mercedes made it to the other side of the ice Armageddon. Hunters were still on sleds and rushing across and she couldn't help but feel a little guilty for not helping. Still, the odds of those guys on the sleds surviving was so slim that she felt any division leader if they had still been there would suggest leaving them to sort it out themselves. She reminded herself to make so much hot chocolate to make up for the disaster later.
Mercedes is safe.

Ennéa finally managed to escape the massive eye and scrambled onto the ice. As soon as she stepped on it though the ice began to crack and splinter warningly. "Ooh, nononono... please don't break!" Ennéa frantically whispered at it. She held her index finger in front of her mouth, shushing the creaking ice. "Shhh... shhh..."
The ice creaked and then was silent. Ennéa stood tense for a moment longer and then relaxed slightly. She took tentative step---
Crack! The ice snapped and began crumbling into the icy water.
"OH SHHH--" Ennéa ran desperately trying to keep ahead of the sinking disappearing ice.
