Sim graciously accepted the cookies from Ronin and watched as the teen lay himself down beside Aurora. He wasn't in the mood to devour all the cookies by himself and with most of the others drifting off to dream land or wandering off by themselves, he thought it would be best to share the meal with the one who had started the fire.
"My, my, are you alright there, Shii?" Sim asked as he traipsed his way towards the now young adult Simu.

It's only a matter of time before they're all found! Could be a day, or a week... depending on how organised and well the teams on the boats work.
Of course, that's something the Simu on the island don't know. But they know hungry. The next morning they'll notice it, by lunch it's screaming, and by dinner... well, stomachs can HURT when they're too hungry.
So food and water are two huge things that need to be sorted out.
And apparently shelter. Because that's the bad thing about the tropics. It's a perfect day one moment, and then... 'CRACK'. The sky suddenly lets out it's fury, rain, thunder, lightening, wind, the ocean starting to act as if it wants to eat the island. And tonight, after a day with only a few fluffy clouds in sight, a storm just like that is headed over to the area all the islands are in. Waves will be HUGE. That fire will be blown out with rain and wind. And, although this island is a tiny bit more protected by the ring of rocks, it has some problem- It's mostly flat and wide, save for the small mountain on one side. And most of the clearer bush on the island isn't a very good windbreak.
Thought it was nice and peaceful on the island?
HA.
On the bright side though, after the storm there'll be a nice lot of sealife that was washed into the rocky surroundings around the island... as well as half of the things on the lifeboat washed onto the island.

Morning had come too early, and it had come too strongly. Sim had hoped in the rays of day's sun he could go off (with permission from Sir Nigel of course) to forage or hunt for food and water. At least he'd be able to see in the daylight, right? And he hoped he'd run across a pool where the water had little to no salt in it. He had also hoped someone would join him (particularly Sir Nigel or Shii) and they would get 'lost' together.
The key word here being hoped. Because as Sim had said earlier, Mother Nature was fabulous, but she sometimes didn't play fair. And today was no exception. The storm had come without warning, and it had hit hard. Sim had literally leapt to his feet, only to slip upon the watery sand once the rain began to pour.
"Egad!! We'll all catch out death in this weather. Everyone, I sincerely apologize if I seem to be running off on my own once more, but it's every person for his or herself!" he declared before grabbing his things and running off into the jungle.

As Ronin felt water below his almost bare feet he awoke and was just in time to hear Sim's cry. Quickly the new teen recognised the situation and got up quickly. "You're right. We need to wake up everyone...if you haven't already."
He grabbed his suitcase as quick as possible and tried to make everyone wake up by shaking them friendly.
Although insecure about his feelings Ronin moved towards Rora at last and touched her shoulder lightly. "Princess...we need to get away. Somewhere save."

On and on Sim sped, running deeper into the jungle. And yet he still found himself getting soaked, this tropical little island did not have the dense jungle that was needed in order to shelter oneself from the rain.
"Does this crused little dust speck not have some sort of cave!?" the teen muttered heatedly, his breath was the only thing warm at the moment. The wind and water was making him extremely cold despite the sarong and the hawaiian shirt.
"And am I the only sane one around here?" he added as he glanced back and saw no one had followed suit in the running away from the shore.

((ARGH. I did post. @_@))
Aurora wasn't very good at being woken. And with this situation, including the 'Only just fell asleep part', she didn't take too kindly to being woken up. Cold and wet maybe, but Rora didn't care. She wanted to sleep for hours, and deal with illness later.
She muttered something, kicking out at Ronin with one leg. "Goawaysleeping..."

Ronin stared at the water and was just able to react quick enough as he noticed Rora's attempt to kick him. "Erm...Princess, you have to come with us."
After several repetitions of almost the same sentence, Ronin became rather worried that he wouldn't been able to make her come with him. His feeling of duty and honour simply didn't allow him to ran off like Sim did. And so the teen was deeply in trouble...
He cleared his throat as his blue eyes observed the surrounding for a single second. "Sorry." Was all he muttered as he quickly picked up the young woman and moved as quickly as possible towards the woods. Rora was quite heavy for the younger one, but he tried not to make her notice. And he literally prayed that she wouldn't wake up...

Sim had found some measure of shelter under a protrusion on the small mountain. Alright, at least rain wasn't pouring on him now, but he was still wet, cold and hungry. Not to mention a little lonely. The storm had reminded him of something, or rather someone from long ago. The memory was faint, hazy at best, but it escape him as the wind suddenly howled at him.
"Condemn you to hell too!" he yelled out, as if his voice would be heard amidst the storm.

Rora did wake, the jolt of her shock causing the slippery grip on her to be loosened just long enough for Rora to slip through his fingers. She fell to the ground with a crash, splash and plop... but Aurora barely noticed that she was now covered from head to toe in mud.
"What the... what happened?!" Rora gasped, furiously trying to pull and spit out tendrils of curling hair out of her mouth and face. She got to her feet somehow, and stared around. It was pitch black, save for the flashes of light caused by the storm, branches fell around them as the wind ravaged the trees and island There wasn't any sign of the camp in sight, nor was there any sign of anyone else other than Ronin.
Forcing a wave of panic and nausea down with a large gulp, Aurora stared around as she clutched at the ring, her nervous habit only made worse by the situation. When she slept, she slept. It wasn't exactly nice to go to sleep in a cosy warm dry hole, then to wake up freezing cold and wet in an unfamiliar place, with a storm raging in the middle of the night, with who knows how many more hours were to go till the light returned....
Unknown to her, there was the lightening in one area of the horizon as dawn approached.
Aurora grabbed at Ronin's hand, clutching to it tightly, the other hand clenching and wrapping around her stomach. She wasn't going to loose him in this crazy storm.
"Where is everyone else?" Rora yelled as loud as she could over the gale winds, hoping the teenager could hear her. Lucky for her, a quick lull in the wind made her voice clearly heard by Ronin... and anyone else near.

Sim was shivering in the small cave-like crevice he was taking shelter in, how he wished the storm would end so he could start a fire (or at the very least move around to get himself warmed up). He squeezed his eyes shut, did he dare try to manipulate his clothing into something that covered him more? As he deliberated on the possibilities, he heard a voice, faint as it was, Sim was certain he recognized it.
"Doll? Doll!! Is that you?!" the teen yelled out as the lull enabled his own voice to be heard. He began to frantically wave his orange kerchief, hopefully the bright color would be able to draw Aurora's attention and whoever else nearby.

"Sim? Ronin, it has to be Sim! Come on..." Rora stared at the orange flashing, while she blindly tried to wipe off her face. She tugged at Ronin's hand once, not even sure if he was really paying attention, let go of it then took off with the hope that he was following. Rora wouldn't normally do this, she tried to reassure herself, leave someone alone... but she was standing there in her swimsuit. She needed warmth of more bodies!
Crawling into the crevice that Sim was in, Rora curled up to one of his sides without a thought. He felt freezing cold, but she really didn't care. Hopefully, Ronin would come and cuddle up to her other half, and Rora could be a nice Greek sandwich.
"I think Ronin's coming." Rora told Sim through chattering teeth, wrapping both arms around herself.

Aurora had the right idea, snuggling against Sim to warm up. She was soaked and wet, then again he was as well, but he was not about to complain. He slung an arm around her, pulling her close, trying to smother as much heat as he could between them. Hopefully Ronin will be joining them, but that thought was kept in the privacy of Sim's mind.
"Doll, I hope you will not be alarmed at what I am about to attempt, it may prove useful if successful." Sim warned, though he may have sent the wrong signals but then again he may have intended it to be so.
He was going to try to make his orange kerchief grow as large as a blanket. If he was right, manipulating his orange kerchief wouldn't affect him as much as manipulating regular clothing would.

And indeed Ronin followed as quickly as possible after trying to see some of the others in the rain without any success. Following the faint voices the teenager finally managed to crawl into the cave. The teen wiped his wet hair out of his eyes and looked at the strange scenery. Something called envy rushed into his stomach, but at the same time his sense told him that Sim was doing the right thing. She was cold and wet and they needed the warmth. All of them.
"Are you two alright ?" Was all he was still able to say as he moved close to them, but didn't dare to cuddle up.

Sim didn't respond, in fact it seemed like he didn't even notice Ronin's arrival. He was staring intently at his orange kerchief, jade eyes practically boring a hole into the fabric. His brows knotted together in concentration, and his grip on the kerchief loosened as the square piece of cloth started to expand. It grew longer, wider, streaming downwards and stopping short of the wet ground.
If Sim just hadn't been soaked prior to this attempt, his brow would have been matted with sweat. His knees started to shake, and without warning they gave out. He was saved from collapsing face first because one of his arms was slung around Aurora.
"Oh, Sir Nigel, I didn't know you were there." He wheezed, genuinely exhausted. After gathering the blanket-sized orange kerchief in his free hand, he gestured for Ronin to join them. "Come closer, you silly lad, we need to keep warm and the more the many-er! Oh wait, that would be something mother would say." he chuckled, faintly wondering what Huni would say if she ever saw him like this. "There's enough blanket for everyone on the island. I dare say, they are taking their time in finding shelter, are they not?" he joked.

"Hmm?" Rora asked, snapping out her cold daze. She watched him quietly, but Rora's reaction wasn't anything closely related to shock. At that exact moment, she'd probably have not given a konga line of kangaroos a second thought... it was too cold for her to care.
She reached out, grabbing at Ronin and pulling him as hard as she could to Rora's other side. Rora cuddled up closer to Sim, and pulled at Ronin as her way of inviting him to cuddle her other half. There was something really nice about being sandwiched between two very handsome young men, something nice and warming about i...
That snapped Rora out of it a bit, and her grasp around the slippery ring tightened. Now, while soaking wet and barely dressed, was not the time to go nymph on the boys. She laughed a feeble excuse of a laugh, answering through chatting teeth, "They're probably dancing in the rain."
