Unknown sector in space The IG-2001's already impressive speed had forced it to overcome the weight of the tractor beam. After XT-613 was out of range she redistributed the power so she could fight back against the lanvarok fighters. There were five of them in a formation heading behind her. XT-613 turned off the inertial compensators. Now she could finish off these fighters quickly. XT-613 pulled up then immediately did a dive downward wihle rapidly accelerating and came back up while greatly reducing her speed. Now XT-613 was right behind the lanvaroks. This would have killed any 'normal' pilot to due to the rapidly changing acceleration and G-forces but XT-613 was far from normal. The pilots in the lanvaroks had been caught off guard while XT-613 unleashed the laser cannons destroying three fighters before they even knew what happened.
Two more were left and they already separated from their formation. Thankfully XT-613 knew exactly where they were due to being linked to the IG-2001. They were coming from both sides which would end any normal pilot but thankfully XT-613 was all droid and knew a strategy to end this silly conflict. The lanvaroks were quite powerful but they were unlucky to have weak onboard computers, ones that could be hacked into. Within seconds those 'brilliant' pilots had their steering locked up. XT-613 already had L-19 entered on her hyperdrive when she hit it and right when the fighters thought they had her she entered hyperspace with the last view of the fighters exploding as they smashed into each other. Being more resistant to G-forces than organics paid off a lot when it came to dog fighting

Epoch Wren - Cockpit
"You want to go to Tython now? That's way out of our way!" Corvit sat heavily in the captain's chair, and began entering the coordinates even as he spoke. "Vic will wake up well before we get there... but sitting around doesn't do us any good." He stole a glance up at Elyria as he worked, then quickly returned his gaze to the controls. Dea'avril was right - the Je'daii was very pretty, but this? Why did women have to be so... so... infuriating!
"I'm sure the Council will be generous enough to refuel the Wren." he said, cruising far enough from Nar Shadda to make the jump to light speed. "And some fresh rations and Bacta wouldn't hurt." he added as the ship lurched forward, a moment of vertigo washing over it's passengers before the environmental controls compensated for the improvements Corvin had made to the drive.
The stars outside the window blurred into lines as the Wren flew faster than the light they shown, and Corvin locked the controls into place for the journey. Swiveling his chair to face Elyria, he decided to take advantage of the time to get his bearings. "While we're waiting" he said, "Maybe you can tell me what to expect when we get there." He paused a moment, but before she could respond he added "And maybe you'll show me how to avoid loosing my new blaster!" He gave her a charming grin, his confidence quickly returning as he remembered the kindness she'd already showed him.

Screaming Phoenix- Neiomodia orbit
As the ship approached the planet's orbit, a message was coming over the comm, "Approaching starship, identify yourself", Lowrak looked up the ship's databse and found the various names it used when it was in unfriendly areas, "This is the freighter Proll and we are here to make a delivery and pick up something for our employer."
A few moments had passed when they got a response, "We are sorry but due to the quarantine, we are unable to allow you to land"
as i expected, guess we'll just have to just orbit the planet, he thought as he turned to Kad, "Well, we'll have to keep our eyes open for the ship we were followed"

MustafarCitadel of the Mauler
Lightsabers clashed with the cackling pop of the energy beams meeting. They hummed as they spun through the air; meeting to block a strike, or to parry a thrust. Jayul fought as expertly as ever, he wanted to test himself against a master, so he fought with only his primary lightsaber. He quickly found that despite his extensive training, he was struggling to hold the old Master at bay.
The Zabrak dark Jedi was 80 years the elder, but he moved through the force as spryly as if he was in his youth. His lifetime of experience was too much for the 18 years that Jayul had spent training. Jayul was on the defensive, blocking a strike, ignoring the feint that came after it. His grasp on the force gave him insight into his movements, it allowed him to feel the masters intentions, and gave him the speed to react accordingly. He was being forced to back up, the master struck left; then dashed right and jabbed at him. He felt as though he was a nerf being herded into a pen.
The master was drawing upon the force as well, and though he didn't show it; he was beginning to wear out. He felt the force flowing into his opponent like matter into a black hole, he had to exert himself just to pull some of that into himself. He managed to get enough for his purposes, but what he faced frightened him. He was using his entire lifetime of training to combat the Sith child; and still he felt like he was being allowed to have the advantage. He could tell the boy was skilled and he knew he had to kill him now, least a terrible evil will be left to ravage the galaxy.
Jayul was forced back another step as a chopping strike nearly cleaved him in two, a trust came at him, forcing him back even farther. Despite his efforts to regain control, whenever he made an attack it was met with a counter that put him right back on the defensive. He would have been dead had blademaster Xed not taught him the soresu form of combat. He blocked another slash and retaliated, but as soon as he attacked he nearly lost his head. He had to retreat backwards to save his life, but that was a serious mistake. He backed right into the cantina's bar, and was left wide open. The master found his mark, his lightsaber pierced Jayul's abdomen finding it's way deep into his liver...

(Ugh, sorry, sorry...)
Tython - Landing Platform
Jri-den could sense the turmoil in the younger girl's mind. He simply stood just outside of the Jedi Cruiser, unsure of what to do. He actually felt motivation to help the young girl, but he didn't know how. All his life, he had hated the world. Since becoming a Jedi-in-training, he had to let go of his hate, but considering it was only a small fraction of his life, he didn't have much of a grasp on how to help someone emotionally. "Well, I suppose I can go say hello... Her concern for Master Stone is even stronger than my own... And she just met her..." Jri-den walked to the living quarters, hoping to find the young Cari Kohai.

Epoch Wren - Starboard Hold
Locolvictum was growing impatent inside the tank, How long do these thing take? He asked himself. Then he got an idea, Maybe I can destory the glass and let myself out?, He thought, Stareing out the glass through the blue liquid. No that won't work. Corvin would just end up making me pay for it. I guess I will have to wait. He started to wonder why no one has let him out yet, but not wanting to do anything that may seem agressive for the time being.

Epoch Wren - Cockpit
"I know this is a great imposition and you will be well compensated. My Master, Ka'all Endar does not give orders lightly, he is man of great composure so when he says something is urgent it's best to take him at his word."
Elyria closed her eyes as the ship made it's jump into hyperspace. When she opened them she blushed slightly to see Corvin looking directly at her with a disarming smile. She returned a shy smile, she wasn't used to such attentions, Je'daii on the whole were pretty reserved. She began describing the beautiful triangular Temple and their historic flight to begin the New Order. On to the lush green landscape returning as the Je'daii brought balance to the world previously destroyed by violent Force Storms, manka's and nerfs and Uxi beasts - all the wildlife now thriving there. Her eyes more and more animated as she described the place she called home. She suddenly burst out laughing "Sorry to go on so, I guess I'm a little homesick" Her mood much brighter she smiled broadly, a genuine and heartfelt smile. "I think your presence will add much to Tython, we could use a little something to stir things up - quiet and meditation can make one restless. Now - about your blaster...you have Force sensitivity - I noticed as soon as I felt your presence in the Spaceport. What you need to do is develop it - I am serious about you training with us - it would be a great benefit in your travels. But Force control begins with meditation, once the ship can be left to it's own we can give it a try!"

Epoch Wren - Starboard Hold
Through the glass of the tank, Locolvictum could see Dea'avril as she busied herself in the hold. She collected the clothing he had left strewn about the floor, taking a moment to inspect the damage it had sustained and the blood with which it was stained. Wrinkling her nose, she bundled it together and left, after depositing his weapons and personal effects on the cot.
Ten or fifteen minutes later she returned, setting a pile of clothes next to his gear. A burgandy pair of heavy cargo trousers, a sturdy belt, and a loose-fitting black shirt of the sort commonly worn by gunslingers to allow for greater mobility. Even fresh socks and underwear.
She brought his coat over to the workbench, casually pushing Corvin's speeder-parts aside as she began repairing it, the needle moving with the same speed and skill as it did when she sewed up Locolvictum's wound. He noticed that the coat had been cleaned as well, but saw no trace of his other garments. "Bet you're glad it's just a hand!" she said, looking up at Locolvictum and smiling before returning her attention to his coat.
"SEVENTY-TWO-PERCENT" SNAFU intoned mechanically. "TWENTY-FIVE-MINUTES-REMAIN."
"Not helping, SNAFU" Dea'avril said, amusement plain on her face.
"APPOLOGIES."

"Force ... Storms?" Corvin mouthed the words as Elyria spoke, a look of wonder growing on his face that he wasn't expecting to have. The Je'daii's enthusiasm was certainly infectious!
"From the sound of things, I'll have no trouble stirring things up!" Corvin laughed when she was finished. "As you can tell, I'm mostly self taught... everything I do is through sheer force of will. Intensity." He held her gaze for a moment when he said the last word, and she could see in his eyes that it was true. "Never been one for meditation really." he said, clapping his hands together once, breaking the tension. "But the Wren's flying herself now. How long does it take?"

Laughing easily now...After the tension of the last few days it was nice to just be young, talking to a good looking man without having to plan and strategize.
"Well, that depends on you" winking, her green eyes shining brightly "Here, try this" Taking the clasp from her cape. "Now sit still, close your eyes and hold out your hand" Don't worry - you can trust me" laughing again. "Now...calm your mind, draw deep inside yourself and feel the Force flow through you. Focus on the object in your hand and see if you can raise it up"

Coruscant - Space > Corruo Hangar 14-A
The last of the Imperial Knights had boarded the transport shuttle and Esuritio launched the shuttle. Closing his eyes, he sighed and sunk back into his seat. The mere thought of boarding that ship again sent shivers down his spine. The torture, the fear... The destruction he endured aboard Lord Rahl's flagship could break the strongest of wills. How Esuritio survived to get where he is today is beyond him. Suddenly, the comm system crackled to life. Esuritio had reached the proximity checkpoint. "Transport shuttle, state your name and passcode. You have 30 seconds before we open fire." Threatened a stern Admiral Tainer. "This is High Lord Darth Esuritio of the Leigon of Imperial Knights. Passcode is Zeltros-663-Hotel-Kilo-47." :: Oh how I loathe him... He's lucky Rahl keeps him around, or I'd crush that pathetic scumsucking lapdog without batting an eyelash!:: The comm system beeped once more "Your passcode clears Lord Esuritio, you may continue your approach to Hangar 14-A."
Brushing the hair out of his face, Esuritio widened his eyes. "It looks... Different." On the other side of Coruscant's moon lay the Emperor's flagship; The Corruo. The gargantuan Eclipse-Class Star Destroyer had been heavily modified since Esuritio last set eyes on it. It's rusty red appearance was merely enhanced by the glowing skyline of the planet below. He shook his head... ::No... Not now. I must remain vigilant:: After 5 minutes, Esuritio had boarded the Super Star Destroyer. The hangar bay, one of 246, was oversized, filled with leigions of TIE-Fighters, drop ships, AT-AT's, AT-ST's... Too many to count. As the shuttle landed, he barked to his Knights "Alright! It is a rare occurence that the Emperor himself personally oversees a mission, therefore I recommend you do not step a toe out of line, because if by any chance he is feeling strange and spares your life, I will crush your skull into the bulkhead without a second thought! Stick close and I shall show you to the briefing room. Do not disperse from me, or you will more than likely end up lost and die of starvation." ::If I can still remember the way myself...:: The Imperial Knights nodded affimatively in unison and exited the shuttle, followed by Esuritio...

Epoch Wren - CockpitCorvin laughed as well as he took the clasp, eager to show off... er... prove himself. That's what he was doing. He took several deep breaths to steady himself, confident that he could do this. He hadn't had nearly as much trouble practicing on his own as he had in the excitement on Nar Shadda, but he'd never tried controlled object manipulation before either. He concentrated, and was fairly certain he did indeed feel the Force flow through him as he raised the clasp roughly a foot above his outstretched palm and held it there, hovering gently in place. Brimming with pride, he looked up into Elyria's face. No sooner did he realize she was smiling at him than he heard the clasp ricochet off the ceiling, and he had just enough time to get his head out of the way before it glanced off the headrest of his own chair before spinning to a stop on the floor. She must have distracted him! Infuriating! Grinning sheepishly, he picked the object off the floor and looked at it for a moment, recovering his calm. "Again?" he asked, looking up at her with renewed determination.

The IG-2001 pulled out of hyperspace. Mustafar's history was surrounded in darkness, so the stories told. Historically it had been a point of major disputes and it had even led the ancient war hero Anakin Skywalker into the infamous Darth Vader. After all the battles over the centuries Mustafar now had a ring of debris around it from various ships of old and new. Around 1600 ABY only Jedi masters were allowed to make the trip to Mustafar. Mustafar was a dark place to go to on the outer rim of the galaxy. If it weren't for the unstable nature of the planet she was sure there would have been an imperial palace on the ground. XT-613 stayed in the Mustafar's orbit.

With a sharp intake of breath, Elyria was immediately impressed by the ease with which Corvin raised the small object above his palm "I knew it! That's amaz....
Suddenly the clasp went flying around the room and ricocheted off the ceiling, ducking as it came soaring past her head she burst out laughing, bending over and holding her stomach she was so caught off guard Tears in her eyes, she nodded "Again"

Corvin took another steadying breath, relying on determination now to help him keep his focus. Meditation might be good for refinement, but he had no intention of making a fool of himself again. He smiled at Elyria, and this time he kept his eyes firmly on her as he relied on feeling the Force around him, rather than actually looking at the clasp.
His smile widened with pride as he saw the object float into view between them. He was learning so quickly! "What's next?" he asked, eager to learn more... and to impress his new friend.
