Hmm, I haven't been here long enough to really judge, but most RP's could always use more male characters. That's been my experience at least.

..........Witches can be cursed. It is just more difficult to place a curse on a witch, and a witch cannot remove a curse placed on them unless it is them who placed the curse.
(Has a lot of knowledge of lore.)

Same here. I don't know very many people like me, so it's easier to make jokes about it. rolleyes And you can remove the curse, it's just extremely difficult and you have to know a bit about the incantation used. Since there are so many, it's almost impossible to guess >.< Good thing I don't curse people though...

I know people like me, but they don't seem very friendly or willing to be open about things and share knowledge with each other. So I study alone a lot and practice things by myself. Which sort of sucks 'cause then how are you ever really suposed to know if you're doing it right? Oh well... It is what it is. smile

Meh, I don't believe in "white" or "black" magic. It's all energy to be manipulated. Energy isn't black or white, it simply is. And it's only the person that chooses to bend it for good or evil. >shrug< I have my own set of beliefs since there's no one really for me to talk to. Plus I'm the only other Pagan I know that also practices magic. There's no real right or wrong way to practice magic...unless you're Wicca. There are a lot that insist that if you identify as Wicca that you have to be part of a coven and do all of the stuff associated and they will go so far as to do an info dump to prove their point. Ergo, I'm just a Pagan. And going that way, you could ask five different people about how to practice magic, and get five different answers. So this day and age, no real right or wrong way.

..........It all depends on where and how deeply you study into the core roots of magic. White, and Black magic are not good or evil, it is actually ignorance and recent teachings that make people think white magic is for the good, and black magic is for the evil. White Magic is a type of magic in which leans into the more pacifist and repelling styles of the bending of energy. Black Magic leans more into the offensive styles. The other branches also hold their own styles of use, it is all about whom wields it that chooses to use them for pure or corrupt reasons.
It is just like a person wielding a gun or a sword, it all depends on what beliefs you wield them for. It isn't the sword or gun that is evil, but the person who uses said weapons.

It does also depend on who you ask. But, as I said, I don't believe in any "color" of magic, no matter what it means. To me, it's all just energy around me to be used as a resource. I suppose if I were to put my magic to color, based on your definitions, I practice white magic. I mainly use my magic to help people and to help myself. I just follow the witch's creed "An ye harm none, do what ye will" And I have a pretty strict policy about only casting magic on someone that I have permission for. So if I want to cast for a friend, I would have to ask them first, and respect their decision. But other than that, I'm not big on putting a category or color on my practice.
And like I told Scarlet, you could ask five people and not get a real clear answer because there are very few hard-set, and open, traditions for others to follow.
