Death God Killer
You see, buying video games is my fiancees job and playing them is mine. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to how video games are actually made.
Your fiancee buys games for a living? I don't get it how does that work haha.
I'm in game design actually. I worked for a while at Vexigon entertainment sadly only several months before it went under (lack of investors) and I've done some independent projects for different studios lending aid in texturing, and some environment modeling. Overall I know how to make nigh any model in 3d, do effects in engine, animate, rig models for animating, texture, bump map, specular map, diffuse map, and just nigh anything else shy of complex programming (know some of the more simple stuff but I stick to the art side of the industry). Given this is only for games that are using full 3d, I'm not as good at flash (given it's much easier to learn than Max/Maya/Z-brush/Mudbox, etc).
Learning it just requires a very good memory of the programs buttons and billions of sliders combined with a ton of patience and, preferably, artistic talent and knowledge of photoshop (for textures and maps).
