Ennéa, Ennéa!! Baraz was shouting at her. Don't just sit there!! Ennéa head rang with the frantic flapping of his wings. Come on!! He shouted again, even louder and impatient but there was a tinge of fear in his voice. That thing will kill you if you don't!!!
Ennéa whimpered again. She didn't want to be here, she was scared. She wanted to go home.
But she staggered to her feet anyway and readied her axe. Everyone was attacking that abomination now, both hunters and the smaller monsters alike. Both sides trying to bring down that thing before it killed them all.
Ennéa charged with them, putting aside her terror. She screamed and swung her axe around as hard as she could at the creature's legs. Baraz screeched in triumph as the axe head whistled through the air and bit hard into a leg.

It was then that the world went ....grayscale. Edel squinted her eyes, trying to clear the effect of the fading colour out but to no avail. It soon became apparent that only the glowing runes and eyes of the giant were coloured – an illusion?
The ghoul scoffed at the idea of working together with the hunters. Sure, they had a common aim now – to stay alive, but working together? Not after what they had done to them.
Nonetheless, the frost demon paid heed to one of the halloweener's call to attack/disable Red who had been landing attacks on the field indiscriminately. Edel spied the heel of the giant wolf's hind leg and took aim.

"Yay Tess, yay Mot..." She muttered softly, the back of her head aching as she groaned, not even making the effort to move; if Mot was up, that must mean Tess did something to help, right? She tried to smile, but her face muscles wouldn't obey, so she settled for nodding - or rather, moving her head a bit.
"F-five more minutes... I..."

Lattice was vaguely aware of Edel's assistance but at the time she was a little bit out of her mind but a part of her was very, very thankful for it. There were so many voices. So much chaos. It was almost like Lattice was there and yet she was elsewhere outside of herself and then there came a rampage. At Edel's urging she seemed to mechanically move out of the way and managed to escape damage at least until the tail gave her a good lash and she went down with a small dismayed sound and a heavy thump with her head smashing against a rock. She was stunned.
She didn't have time to admire the world going to gray nor did she have the sight for it.
HP: 4
Status: STUNNED.

Vieve seemed totally out of it, Lizzy was barely there. While Mot was not yet ready to face battle again, he couldn't even if he was. The ghoul's had him pinned, and they were in no condition to be moved and left alone.
Mot turned his head to Tess again, giving her a nod. "Thank you, Tess." He said with a soft smile. He barely knew the ghoul but she gave him something very precious. Now, he could once again battle at full strength.
Mot turned to Lizzy, hovering a hand over her head before gently stroking back her hair. He couldn't help her, but maybe he could make her feel comfortable.

Lizzy winced at the touch at first - thanks to the head injury - but soon got into it, relaxing a little as her breathing stabilized. After about five minutes, she grabbed his hand and used it to pat her own head as she opened her eyes, shifting a bit so that she could look up at her friend, offering the briefest of smiles.
"Morning," She would giggle but her everything hurt at the moment, "Help me up?"

Candace was content with using Jerry as a leaning post until he threw her to the side. What the ********, Jerry?! She landed on the ground with an "OOF" followed by a growl. She sat up and turned to give him a piece of her mind but instead watched as one of the beast's feet came down where Jerry was and Candace had been until he shoved her away. He...he saved her. Her heart clenched painfully. "JERRY?!" She cried out with worry before clumsily getting to her feet and limping to him to make sure he was okay. Apparently he was. Evause he shot at that b***h and hit her square in the chest. "Jerry you...you...!" she looked lie she wanted to yell at him. Tell him he was an idiot for shoving her and not saving himself. To tell him he should have worried about himself be wise she would have been fine, damnit she could have saved herself..! But she couldn't get the words out. All she could do was turn a dark glare toward the beast. But something seemed off when she did that...wasn't the sun rising? Where we're the colors of morning...?

Mot managed a half smile. Lizzy was either joking or she really hit her head something awful. "Morning." He didn't even know what time of day it was anymore, especially with everything coated in gray scale, save for the rampaging Red.
"I'd love to, but there is a sleeping salamander on my legs." Mot said with a wry smile. He was only half sitting up, propped up on his elbows, with Lizzy flopped over his middle and Vieve hanging over his legs.

((5-6: You managed to avoid the attack, however you're still too close for comfort. Red's tail lashes you! You have been knocked down and manage to crack your head against a stone. It hurts, and you are now stunned. You cannot attack this turn.))
Sepheran could hardly tell what was going on anymore. Suddenly Red had returned...or what should have been Red. Something was off about her though, he could hear his fellow students rallying against the large beast, but he didn't get why. From what he could gather Red was after the leader of the humans. She was on their side even if she hit students along with her attacks...she was just big it wasn't her fault, she didn't mean to, she was just caught up in the fight like everyone else.
The Baslisk managed to dodge Red's attack until her tail smacked him causing him to get knocked down. The force of the hit caused his head to hit the ground against a stone making him blink as lights filled his vision. He lifted his hand to his head and groaned sitting up and trying to pull himself together. "I'm alright," he said softly to the snake on his shoulder who tickled him with her tongue out of concern. Looking up however everything but Red's eyes and runes seemed to be grey. Maybe he hit his head a little harder then he thought after all.

Amrita's arms hurt from the blow she dealt to Red, and what was worse, her eyes seemed to be going! Greeeeat, she only had the one left! The ghoul blinked rapidly, trying to clear the grayscale that seemed to take over but no, everything stayed the same. The only thing that had colour was Red, and...wow, that was scary. Very scary. Maybe her brain lost all the colours but blue? That was entirely possible! As she looked around, she spotted someone that she recognized should have blue on her; at least a glowy sort of blue. She recalled Mai from the Battle of the Bands, but...NOPE! She was as grey as everyone who wasn't, well, Red. "M-mai, r-right?" She called out, waving her arms above her head but clearly favouring her broken one; it was still moveable, just...not that well. "Be careful, watch out for the tail!" She didn't want everyone to get smacked by it! "We need your help! Try for her legs!" Poor Shehk would definitely hate her now, recruiting more people into attacking their beloved Gym Teacher. It hurt to do, but it had to be done...or so she thought. That was when she heard a familiar voice behind her; she sounded groggy, but--- " LIZZY!" She cried out anyway, abandoning everything she had been doing to rush towards the Demoness. "You're alive! You---" The Vetala took stock of the situation, and couldn't believe what she was seeing. Lizzy was laying on a boil! A boil who didn't really look like Mac! "---Now's not the time for a nap!"

While he avoided getting ran over he didn't avoid getting bitten. He let out a rather loud and frustrated cry as it rampaged past and took a bite out of him, "I HOPE I TASTE GOOD," he called after it angrily.
...Jude wasn't exactly the wisest guy around when distressed, in pain, and generally angry.
He could probably take a few more knocks before he needed to bother with healing but he certainly wasn't feeling his best. Busily he tried to recollect himself so he could finally do something against the beast rather than standing there stunned.
..Wait everything lost color. When did that happen? The fact that the world went grayscale was somehow interesting and yet unnerving. Whatever. Just. Whatever. Gotta focus.

Harrison tugged B0nez free of Red, and she moved. He was so focused on avoiding getting stomped on, he didn't notice the tail until it crushed him sidewise. He hit the ground, hard, and he wasn't sure if the faint ringing was B0nez or just him.

Xiu, fortunately, hadn't been anywhere near Red when she--it?--suddenly lunged for Caelius again. While she hadn't realized who the creature was at first, she had caught snippets of the conversations around her, and...
...Could it really be professor Red? But she was...! They had all seen...! How could she have possibly turned into that?
But it didn't matter. As she hung back, the baku noticed that Hunters and Halloweeners alike were attacking the creature, intent on bringing it down. Like some of the other Halloweeners, however, Xiu was a bit hesitant. If that creature really was Red, then she was on their side, right? It seemed she was focusing on attacking Caelius, but at the same time, a quick sweep of the field determined that a lot of her classmates had been hurt as well. Xiu's burnt arm throbbed at this thought, and she shook her head.
If they just stood around, they would die for sure. While she definitely did not want to kill the creature, they had least had to stop it from attacking.

Candace was angry. Her fists were clenched and her eyes were narrowed. This b***h had to go. She wasn't just hurting her fellow hunters but her own kind?! Something like this was too dangerous to exist. Atropos. Atropos chuckled, her cracks and gemmed 'eyes' flaring with colorless light. Candace grinned. Of course she didn't need to say anything. Atropos was always ready, she was always more than excited to do what she loved to do: Kill. And that was most definitely what they were going to be doing this morning, they were going to be bringing down a beast that was far too dangerous to even exist especially if she was even bringing Caelius down to the condition he was in. That man did not look well. She'd never seen him look this way...
"Let's go." Even though her leg was aching with pain, even though she was tired, even though this was just one gigantic ******** of insanity..Candace was going to go for it. She kicked the toe of her uninjured foot into the ground a couple times while deciding what to do. How to go about this. She couldn't just rampage in like some of the students were doing; she was a ******** adult she needed a plan. She couldn't hit the head, nor could she go at the torso or the wings. Those were impossible and they were being pelted with projectiles anyway...
The legs. That was perfect.
Candace pulled the hood of her robe up and pushed the lower half open enough for her to run, gliding over the stones and rocks like she was on a misshapen pair of ice skates until she was close enough to jump. She jumped onto her foot, spun and kicked the beast's leg as hard as she could with her uninjured foot. This meant she would land on her hurt one but it was okay, she was quick to roll away as quickly as she could so she wouldn't be stepped on.
