The general's coat wasn't easy to life. It was buttoned tightly up front, had a sash about his midsection, and also had a sash across his chest, all to keep it firmly in place. This wasn't like other officers who got long coats or capes when they upgraded and, for now, Wolframite was glad that it had an advantage in not having those in his current wardrobe. It did nothing more than tug up and show a bit of his stomach, but he was far too involving in trying to kill the senshi than be embarrassed at that moment of just showing a sliver of skin.
Despite it, he knew they were both trying to scramble to get the upper hand and he gritted his teeth and then kicked up, holding the leg with him as he did so. If he couldn't take her down, he'd just flip her instead.

After running through a person, Darwin finally stopped and realized he couldn't be running: he didn't have legs! For that matter, he didn't seem to have a body either. How unfortunate. Did that mean he was dead? Death by locusts? That sucked.
The dead-and-bodyless thing kinda upset Darwin, so he decided that he would haunt those responsible for it. Some woman with a staff and wings seemed to be making more of the bad aliens, so he zoomed over to her, trying to sound spooky.
First problem? He had no mouth. That didn’t stop him from trying though.
“ Ghaastly, Ghaaaaaaastllly~”
Second problem? Even in the afterlife, Darwin was a dork. Didn’t even know how to be a proper ghost.

Felix skeptically nodded at the female page. He didn’t think it a lucky guess, as it seemed miraculous for someone to happen to choose a name that was his when there were thousands of others to call out. Nonetheless, he accepted it for now.
The next few moments for Felix were practically surreal. One moment he was standing beside Felicia, and the next a mysterious woman with flowing hair and dark clothes appeared in the battlefield. In her hands was a large, glowing staff that radiated with an odd, pulsing energy. She conjured a purple rectangle, he wasn’t quite sure what, but of course it was through magical sense. He was no longer surprised by such acts. Yet, the rectangle suddenly flew toward them and crashed into Felicia. “Felicia?!”
She became covered in shards, glass shards it seemed, and the next moment, Felicia wasn’t standing next to him anymore. Rather, it was a woman with the clothing that was undeniably senshi. The senshi was unfamiliar, yet so familiar at the same time. He wanted to say that it was Felicia, but the two faces just wouldn’t click together. It wasn’t her. This was someone completely different. “Felicia…?” he called out her name again, looking from side to side as he attempted to search for her, but he knew that he wouldn’t find her. She was gone. In the back of his mind, the word ‘dead’ echoed repeatedly.

Darkness. Darkness! She saw darkness! Pretty wings. Pretty dark. She felt someone get sucked up, turning purple, pretty! New shiny person! New pretty! The ghost slithered over, wrapping around the new DMC senshi's ankles, trying to nuzzle them slightly.
She was gleeful. These people wore black. Senshi wore white. Senshi would pay! She would help! She would help!
The ghost tripped another senshi, making her stumble, smiling to herself. She would help make them pay. They would all pay. The dark winged lady said to protect the monster, she told the black ones to do that. She would help to! She would trip the senshi monsters! It was their fault. Their fault she was dead, their fault they were all dead!
Payment was due.

Nyx nodded to Valhalla in return, recognizing him as the fellow who had come to cover her and Naica before the locusts set in. She looked to each member of the group as they were introduced, committing them to memory as best she could without her trusty pen and notepad. It was just awesome to be able to put names to faces these days, with all of the illusion. "Sailor Nyx," she said simply. To Pasiphae, a smile didn't reach her lips, but her eyes lit up to see her friend safe and... well, not unharmed, noting the blood, but at least not in a sling. "Same to you, mostly. You look different," she commented with a quirk, also noticing the upgrade. Along that same line, she also noticed the approaching senshi's small wings in place of a ribbon at her back. This group was apparently called the Jovians and Nyx was grateful to them for allowing her to band with them for the time being. Her own attack might not be offensive or... make much sense to her, but she would lend it to these people who had already lent themselves. Quicksilver the Archangel

Leto's look of worry didn't last long as Ares stabbed her torch through the tentacle that was binding her. She gripped Ares' hand tightly and freed herself from the grip of the giant tentacle. Standing at her Princess' side, she glared at Gunn and Scylla. A grin spread across Leto's face as her new friend Alunite popped up beside Hephaistos. "It was a pleasure meeting you, ********..." she muttered under her breath as she turned her back on the Senshi of Metalcraft. She figured that the Corrupt Eternal could handle the first stage Senshi without her help. Her gaze fell back upon Scylla and Gunn, her fists clenched at her side, knuckles white. While she may not have been under the chaotic rage of Metallia, she was still beyond pissed. She took a few steps towards the two of them and stopped and took a deep, calming breath. Their lives wasn't what she was after. They were her comrades once, and Scylla had killed someone to save her in the past. And while they played of opposing teams now, they still meant something to the Senshi of Camoflage. They would just have to join them on the side of Chaos, that's all. "This can end if you join us. We don't have to do this," she said to them. While she knew Gunn was far more stubborn, her and Scylla had been close once. She looked at her with pleading, deep red eyes. ((Defence roll)

[Virgo: 22 Gunn: 13 Avalon: 9] The Professional Prophet Swarming locusts were crushed by the force of Virgo's fist en route to Hematite's face. Her senshi magic had worked exactly as intended. His head snapped back from the combination attack. Blood bubbled up out of the myriad cuts and gashes Virgo had mirrored onto him, colorful imprints of his own attacks were blossoming across his skin in an instant. It was like being hit by a truck. He slumped to his knees, the first sign of weakness since Metallia's voice rang out over the battlefield. The berserker rage was starting to fade, and with it the mindless strength. Slowly. The urge to kill was still stronger than any self-preservation he had. It had him rising up once again despite the damages, on heavy legs made heavier by the waning power. But he survived that mindless fury. More than survived. He felt alive. Invincible. This was the fighting spirit the others had tapped into long before, the power he'd been to fearful of losing himself in. What else was there to fear now if death itself was meaningless? He faced the ground briefly and coughed, spraying blood across their shoes. It cleared his throat enough to find his voice. When he looked up again Virgo could see the corners of his mouth twitch upward ever so slightly, the wildness in his eyes focusing on her and her alone. They were dangerously close to the edge of the outpost here, behind the castle. Cold, empty space surrounded it outside the broken barrier the youma had smashed its way through. "Try again." His words came out with difficulty. But the gauntleted hand that shot out toward her chest didn't. He was injured, his uniform beyond ruined, the cloth pieces shredded. Virgo, her attack having run its course, was almost uninjured; she had a few scratches at one ankle, dried blood tracing a line over the planes of her face, but she was largely unharmed, her fuku unstained with any of the multitude of gross liquids it'd been covered in before. She smiled at the General as he fell to his knees, set one hand on a cocked hip and caught her veil with the other. The ease of long practice gave her motion more grace than it ought to have had; really, the blond ought to be dead by then, with the abuse she'd taken, or at least heavily concussed. She wasn't. Virgo, much like her enemy, felt immortal. Untouchable. Locusts had not affected her, she had lived through Hematite's berserker rage and her own, and she had only scratched her ankle where others had been crushed. She felt invincible when she sauntered over to the armored man as he rose. And this turned out to be bad, because it meant she was in no position to defend herself from the injured Hematite's attack. That didn't mean no one else was-- A body quickly imposed itself between the General and the Captain of the Zodiac Guard; not a Zodiac, not a Chronos knight, just a young senshi who had come into her own only a few days before. The petite brunette sailor scout didn't know much, but she knew that she couldn't let anyone get another's starseed. That would lead to certain defeat. "Thank you," said Virgo, "but you need to move--" Her advice had come too late. That gauntleted hand was in motion. Gunn didn't want Hephaistos's assistance, but she had no choice but to accept it. It meant she'd get up faster, even if she did shove him away the moment she had regained her balance. Scylla's tentacle wrapped around the torso of her Dark Mirror opponent brought a small, vicious smile to Gunn's face as she hurried in to take care of the punching half of this equation. Then there was an intervention, and she yanked Hephaistos away from the Dark Mirror Queen as she fell back. "Friends," she said, spitting out a mouthful of blood from her bitten cheek. "We stopped being friends when you turned to Chaos in an adolescent sulk!" Her resentment and rage burned bright, remembering the speech as Birhan Isat had told it to her. Gunn, betray Ares? Not before the Captain of the Blood Moon Court had become this. Upholding Ares's own laws was not betrayal, not when it was a charge from the Captain to do so. The number of senshi whose henshin pens had entered Gunn's custody wouldn't exceed one hand, but it would take more than a single finger. She had thought her leader fair. She had thought Ares, the one who thought of her as more than a pyromaniac, just. Righteous, worthy of Gunn's respect and obedience, and it hurt more than anything to find out she had been wrong. "I don't want it to end. Not that way." She clenched her fists, tightly, then forced her fingers to spread out at her sides. Fire, she needed flame, something--"It'll end when your corpses are cooling on the ground at my feet." There had to be something she could use as a weapon, she thought, as she shoved Hephaistos away from Alunite's reaching hand, close to the last remnant of her impressive show of pyrotechnics. Then it was time to test tolerances on the faces of a corrupted senshi, and Gunn balled up a fist and sent it on a collision course for Alunite's face. Findings said they'd make a delightful crunch, but she knew you always needed more testing... ---- Avalon was relieved to have gone mostly unmolested. A couple locusts, you know, some enemies, but now she was free of the bugs to attack the giant youma monster again. She would help murder the goddamn thing. It would die, and then it would be dead, and it would be amazing. If the adrenaline rush from battling really was this good, why didn't people do it more? She didn't understand.

Seeing the great youma following the Dark Mirror's princess, although it looked tired, was an awesome sight. Watching it move and how it's body moved. Though the ribs and all was a bit...ick. Maybe if he offered it the star seed he had taken? Deities knew he didn't want to hold on to the item. It was in a mental sense burning a hole in his coat pocket.
Biting his lip from where he stood at one of the newly awakened senshi's sides. Should he throw it? Would it make it or would someone else grab it? Would it even do much for the great youma? He didn't want to risk the starseed, as much as he hated it, falling in to someone else's hands or just not making it and falling far short of it's intended place of landing.
(Rolling to defend the great youma.)

Maia was extremely frustrated as the coat failed to go anywhere and as he jumped up it became very apparent that she was going to be tossed or flipped she wasn't really sure. Maia however was not letting go, grabbing hold of his hair and his his sash as his was flipped.
She most certainly wasn't making it easy, she would fight him tooth and nail this time around. He always managed to get the upper hand, it just couldn't happen this time. It couldn't she was determined. She tugged his hair and his sash as she went, even if she couldn't hang on she was going to unbalance him.

((KEREN WHY WON'T YOU DIE?))
Keren Della-Blue, expunged from her hiding place, stumbled across the battlefield in a dazed state. She didn't see a single familiar face in this whole struggle, maybe a few knights but then she'd never made an effort to familiarize herself with them. The civilians she'd met over the past few weeks had vanished...
Keren hugged her arms to her chest as she walked. Perhaps she was seeking death, now - there would be no going home. Hopelessness was sinking in. She did not see any of her acquaintances, not even Callum's friendly face and she'd dragged his a** back to Virgo.
She wouldn't say they were friends, but maybe all of her not-quite-friends had already gone ahead?

Scylla shrieked as Ares' torch slammed through her tentacle. It hurt, like she had been stabbed herself. But there was no blood, no actual damage. No real pain, just the knowledge of it. When the Princess kicked out at her, Scylla didn't dodge it- no, one not-so-dainty foot smashed into her chin and she cursed as she fell into the dirt. She shoved back up, and glared at the dark-skinned woman. "So sorry I missed your opening performance, Ares." Scylla wiped blood off the corner of her mouth, feeling her split lip with her tongue. "Even sorrier I can't rip your black heart out of your chest." She could feel the difference in power. One on one, the difference between an Eternal and a Princess was too much. What did she have she could use against her former friend? Someone was going after Hephaistos. She saw the corrupted eternal out of the corner of her eye and shuddered. Even with Gunn and the senshi defending himself, the two of them couldn't take on Leto with an Eternal and a Princess. She cursed, wishing she knew where Sirius was. Wishing she had stayed at home. Wishing she'd been better prepared. "I won't go down that path, Leto." She said it with a shake to her voice. "I won't. Not willingly. I would have followed you once, Ares, through the gates of Hell itself. You killed that." She lifted her hands, calling out "Scylla's Hunger!" This would probably hurt, a lot, but if she could just get her hands on Ares' torch, or tangle her up, or something. Something to try and even this imbalanced field. This would probably hurt.

One moment, Joshua had been flitting across the battle site, trying to figure out what to do next. Where to be.
A split second later, everything changed - forever. Something crashed into him, pulled, yanked out of his safe place...
Twisted, and with it came... knowledge. The senshi... Were wrong. Misled. At this moment, the boy who had once been Joshua had a revelation, just as black and purple formed on top of him.
The newborn senshi of twilight looked at his marker as her hand went to his shoulder, and he knew her words to be true. "Yes. I will."
He'd died once.
He had no intention to die again.
