Sirea couldn't help but smile from watching Azriel's excitement as the female Wingfolk led her, Kai, and Lilith to the stone dais. However, her smile faded for a moment at the mention of Sheena's name, which had the werevixen glance briefly in the direction where the infirmary was. She was feeling concerned for Sheena's well-being after learning that her son had finally been found. Though for now, it was best to give the ninja chief her space. That and she did have Lloyd and Colette checking on her already.
As they reached their destination, Sirea noticed that Rhone was already there. Her ears twitched as she listened to the interaction between him and Azriel. So it would seem that Rhone had attempted such a spell before. Was there someone he wanted to bring back? She thought to herself. It was then from hearing the final line of Rhone's explanation that the werevixen was covering her mouth as she was trying so hard not to laugh. However, a few snickers managed to escape her. It was a serious matter, yet Rhone made it sound humorous. Even Azriel looked as though she was trying not to laugh as well.
Recomposing herself, she glanced over to Rhone. "You don't have to worry about us. Rather to be safe than sorry, right?" She smiled slightly then watched curiously as Azriel began her work while the werevixen kept a safe distance. Witnessing someone not only gaining a body, but being revived from the dead is actually quite interesting in her eyes. She keeping her fingers crossed for the process to go well. She gazed at the biological components for a moment as Rhone spoke more. "So...the spell can actually recreate Eloysio's body from these components, despite Azriel not having encountered his original one?" She asked him.

Rhone grins wider than anyone else in the party thus far has seen after Sirea asks her question.
"Ha! I'm glad you asked! Mana can be used to create matter if one has the right know-how and ability to utilize it. My body is composed of these principles applied on a basic and irreversible level. Creating a true body, instead of simply the facsimile of my own, however, is a tad more...difficult."
He points to the intricate runes and circles of the glyph.
"Normally, there's less to this glyph if the person casting it intimately knows what they're creating. Because Azriel doesn't, these extra runes serve as instructions. A template for the body that, I'm guessing, match Eloysio's original one...unless he altered something. I dunno, maybe he's insecure about his musculature or something. This would be the perfect time to solve that, I suppose..."
Rhone ponders for a minute before pointing back to the biologic components.
"Now those represent what the mana will be turned into. Flesh, sinew, bone, and the like. After all, instructions are worthless without a reference for what you need to create. The extra runes and circles are the recipe and the components are the ingredients list."
Rhone closes his eyes and nods to himself. He seems satisfied with his comparison.
"So now... all we have to do now is get cooking, right Blues?"

Azriel nodded at Rhone. "Alright, here goes."She stepped to the core of the spell circle where the inscriptions for tethering the soul were set. The lettering began to emit a dim purple glow, ready to receive the soul of the one to be revived. "Time to take your place, Eloysio." Smiling softly, she placed her hands over her heart and closed her eyes. Eloysio nodded to Chiaro and Oscuro, smiling confidently himself. "Well, see you on the other side." He too closed his eyes and took a relaxed stance, hands at his sides. When he started to levitate a bit, he faded out of view.When Azriel opened her eyes, her left one was back to being green. A golden glow lit up at her chest, and as she drew her hands away to cup them before her, it emerged as a wisp of golden light, a little brighter than when it was first found since Eloysio had borrowed some energy from her. When it started becoming surrounded by glowing rings of runic inscription, she parted her hands beneath it and let it float in place. She proceeded toward the edge of the entire circle, where there appeared to be two blank spots close together. Now this was going to be the uncomfortable part. She took off her gloves and kept them in one of her coat pockets, then drew her dagger. Her own blood needed to be drawn for this. Kneeling down, she bit her lip as she made cuts clear across both her palms, and her brows sharply creased as she withstood their stinging. After setting the dagger aside, Azriel bent down and placed her bleeding palms upon the blank circles before her. The rest of the inner circle activated with the same purplish glow as its core, while the alchemical outer ring had a teal glow. A low, resonating hum could be heard in the air. She began the incantation. "We who dare defy the conventions of life and death thus proclaim: The blood of the successor shall give way to the revival of the mentor. O forces of sacred dark, we command thee, construct the vessel in which this wandering soul shall once again walk the earth!" The hum grew louder and rose a couple of notes in pitch, and the spell circle glowed brighter. The components that were on the porcelain dishes began to float and gravitate toward Eloysio's soul, also held by the same kind of runic inscription rings that were binding it in place. Once they were practically orbiting Eloysio's soul in close proximity, they were enveloped all at once by an orb of purple light. During a few minutes of the spell processing, everyone in the vicinity could feel invisible waves of energy rush past them almost like wind brushing against the skin. It was all heading into the spell circle, being absorbed by it. It wasn't affecting anyone...but it was starting to take its toll on the surrounding environment, as Azriel and Rhone predicted. A rustling could be heard from all the trees surrounding the venue, as the leaves were drying up and starting to fall like it had suddenly become autumn.

Sirea's ears twitched as she listened to Rhone's explanation about the spell. She held back asking if there had been any successful attempts before with the thought that the question would open some wounds for Rhone. "I'm actually getting excited to see how it turns out." She said before smiling. "I mean, it's not every day you'd see someone who's been dead for over thousands of years being brought back to life. Most I've had was from reading a few ghost stories...until now of course." Her gaze then shifted back to Azriel as she performed the spell. The werevixen had a look of awe as she felt the invisible waves of energy rush past her like wind brushing her skin. She kept her fingers crossed and hoped for the attempt to be successful.

As Rhone watches the environment change, his eyes narrow a bit and a scowl forms on his face.
"This is bad. It's draining much faster than when I cast the spell...why would..."
His eyes go wide as realization dawns on him.
The soul! Every time I tried the spell, the soul summoning didn't work, so there was no energy needed to put the soul into the body! That's the unknown variable! And at the rate the energy draining is going...
He closes his eyes for a moment.
I thought it was a myth...but the spell really does require life energy to bring someone's soul back...I just never truly knew because I never succeeded at doing it. A normal mortal might be completely drained from the spell, but two immortal beings with powerful artifacts attached to them?...
A slight smirk appears on his face as his eyes open up in a determined expression.
"So be it!"
He kneels down next to Azriel and places one hand on the glyph with the other hand on her shoulder.
"We're gonna have to dual-cast this thing with our own mana...and not just the normal stuff. We're bargaining with what keeps us alive. Just concentrate and we'll get through this. Get ready!!"
Rhone grimaces in pain as the spell begins rapidly draining through his mana. After a few moments, the drain manages to spread through his entire body, encroaching into Azriel from where his hand rests on her shoulder.

All the plant life in the vicinity stopped drying up.
Azriel heard Rhone, but didn't respond because she knew that if she broke concentration for even a second, the spell would mess up. She didn't quite understand what he meant when he said they were going to start "bargaining with what keeps them alive", but...she was about to find out.
An immense pain started to blossom from the shoulder where Rhone placed his hand. It felt like several things at once: the intense sting of burning alive, thousands of tiny clawed hands trying to pull her body apart in all directions, millions of needles somehow flowing through her veins, life itself being taken from every particle of her being all at once. The pain caught her so suddenly that she was too in shock to even scream.
Chiaro and Oscuro were screaming on her behalf instead. Inside her head. Keeled over on their hands and knees like their host, as they were definitely feeling it too. Their screaming was so loud that Rhone could probably hear it through the link.
shut up shut up shut up it hurts so much it hurts i don't want to die and yet how am i surviving how— no no NONONO FOCUS KEEP FOCUS
Azriel squeezed her eyes shut as tightly as humanly possible and gritted her teeth, tensing her body. Her fingers were pressing so hard against the floor, as if she were trying to dig her fingers into the stone and keep herself anchored. In all actuality, her body was staying intact, but the pain was making her feel like she was starting to disintegrate into dust and float away. Her breathing became shaky and labored.
Another couple of minutes pass. The core of purple light floating over the center of the glyph had doubled in size, but was still too small to look like it was concealing a full-sized human body.
The Faelight Dracofly. A rare nocturnal insect that seems like an advanced form of dragonfly, with six wings that have a soft golden glow to them. It's a reclusive creature that has so little contact with organisms larger than itself that it's apparently oblivious to the threats they potentially pose. And they are also attracted to bright lights for some unknown reason.
One seemed to have drifted in out of the blue, and was flying right up to the core where Eloysio's new body was forming. After it phased through the runic inscription rings, it was beyond help.
The Faelight Dracofly was absorbed into the process.
In the next instant, the sphere of light expanded to a diameter of six feet. The materials that would form Eloysio's clothes set in the alchemical outer circle now rose up and gravitated into the sphere, and the light changed from purple to gold.
A few more minutes passed, and Azriel had gone far beyond her limit of pain tolerance by now. Not able to keep up the struggle any longer, she blacked out and flopped face down onto the ground.
Fortunately, the spell had reached its conclusion right at that moment. The glyph stopped glowing, and the giant sphere of golden light dissipated in a flash so bright that there was a need for everyone present to shield their eyes from it.

When the light died down, the form of a tall, slender man clothed in brown, eyes closed, could be seen hovering over the center of the deactivated glyph for a moment. In the next, it was as if whatever was holding him up released him so abruptly. He dropped to the ground, but landed so unsteadily on his feet that he further dropped down to one knee and placed a hand on the ground for support.
After four thousand years, Eloysio Donovan was corporeal again.
But something felt kind of off about his new body...
However, all thoughts about that were pushed aside for the time being as he carefully lifted his head, opened his eyes, and looked around. The first thing his fresh new eyes laid sight on was Azriel passed out before him. He breathed an alarmed gasp and scrambled up to his feet, breaking into a slightly wobbly run. Flecks of golden dust trailed from the glowing dragonfly wings at his back that he had yet to notice as he rushed to Azriel's side.
A frigid pang of anxiety gripped his chest while he carefully turned her over and found her pale with a pained expression on her face. As he checked her neck for a pulse, he found her skin clammy to the touch with cold sweat. "S-she...she still lives, thank the heavens," he feebly whispered.
Checking her person further, he found that her palms were still bleeding out. He remembered that she kept some bandage wrap in her pack for this. Instinctively, without even knowing whether or not his old powers were still whole in this new body, he looked in the direction where Azriel set down her pack and outstretched a hand. It began to take on a soft golden "outline" glow, and the roll of bandage wrap and a clean white kerchief arose from the pack with the same. He had an odd feeling atop his head all the while, but again, he didn't have room to dwell on that at the moment.
After telekinetically pulling the items toward himself, Eloysio proceeded to clean off and take care of Azriel's wounds.
"I am...so...so...sorry," was all he could bring himself to utter at the moment. It wasn't only just toward Azriel; he looked up at Rhone with an expression of immense guilt and also noticed he too was the worse for wear.
((If I didn't write it as obviously as I thought I did, yes, Eloysio appears to be a 6'5" fairy now. XD))

All the while Sirea watched, she was fighting with herself to keep from running to their side from seeing how much pain Azriel and Rhone both were in. Don't move, don't move, don't move... She mentally repeated to herself. A small slip up could mess up the spell entirely, and the end result may not be so pretty. In attempt to distract herself, she focused on the core of purple light that floated over the glyph. Noticing how pretty and shiny it was. The soft golden glow coming from the Faelight Dracofly had also caught her attention. So pretty...and shiny...and glowy...don't move, don't move.... Her heterochromic eyes then widen a bit upon noticing the pretty glowy dragonfly creature was absorbed.
When the spell had finally concluded, Sirea could now see a tall blonde male at the center of the deactivated glyph. Eyes widening in surprise and in awe, the werevixen was at first at a loss for words. Azriel and Rhone had succeeded. Eloysio was now living and breathing once more, and in a new body. It was alot to take in, though it was pushed aside when the concern for Azriel and Rhone's well-beings came back to her. She quickly rushed over toward them as Eloysio treated Azriel's wounds. "You guys alright? Is Azriel okay?" She asked in concern.

Kai rushed over to the others to help if he could.
"t-that was incredible.. is everyone alright!?" Kai asked with great concern in his voice
Lilith simply pulled out an old notebook and started scribbling down notes.
"interesting." she mumbled before putting it back in her bag.

Rhone breathes heavily for a few moments before shakily returning to his feet, knees bent, back hunched over, and his hair messily covering most of his face. He looks slightly over towards Sirea and grins like a madman.
"Of course Azriel's alright...I wasn't going to let someone inexperienced with forbidden magic take the brunt of all that. She took a lot of pain...but there shouldn't be any internal damage."
He then glances over to Eloysio and softens his grin a bit.
"Don't apologize. We did this knowing the risks. And besides...I'm pretty sure I'm fine..."
Almost immediately after saying that, Rhone, collapses back on his hands and knees and begins violently coughing up blood until there's a sizable pool under him. Once the coughing fit calms down, he rolls onto his back away from the blood and looks up at the sky, breathing heavily again and talking between long breaths.
"Okay....relatively... I'm relatively fine..."
"Relative to...what, Rhone?"
Max emerges from under some foliage, where she had been watching the ritual in secret, and approaches Rhone. Her expression shows annoyance at being left out of the loop, but there's a hint of concern in her tone of voice that's difficult to perceive...but not impossible.
"Oh, good...I'm glad you're...here..."
Rhone moves his head to look at Azriel.
"Take her...to the infirmary...have her looked over..."
Max nods and approaches Azriel before carefully lifting her up and hoisting her over her left shoulder. She then looks over towards Sirea, Lilith, and Kai.
"I don't know where that is. Can one of you lead me there quickly?"
Rhone coughs slightly as he tries to laugh.
"To answer...your question...there was an insect...got caught in the spell...the ingredients...I'm doing a lot...better than it is..."
"Oh, so thaaaat's why the new guy's got wings!"
She looks over at Eloysio and gives him a thumbs-up
"Lucky you! Wings are pretty rad."

Eloysio was visibly mortified at how much blood Rhone was coughing up, pale and overcome with a cold sweat. He went dead silent for a few moments, in which he brought himself back up to his feet after noticing that Max picked up Azriel. He intended on carrying her himself, but Max acted before he could and while he was distracted.
Max mentioned that he has wings. He furrowed his brow in confusion, now noticing again the odd feeling at his back. "Wh-what?" He reached behind him and groped around until he caught one of them, the middle right, and bent it forward to see as much of it as he could. It was flexible like cardboard, but the surface was smooth as glass. Thankfully, his wings didn't have any nerves in them, so the bending one of them like that wasn't any painful. Though, he felt the tug at their base on his back. And he felt that if he tried to bend it any further, it might snap and become unusable. And then he wondered whether or not they could carry him anyway, guessing that he'd need a much bigger wingspan for them to be functional. Shaking his head and pushing aside that thought for the time being, he made a mental note to get to a mirror as soon as possible and examine them further.
Now that Max brought that to light, he also noticed again that strange feeling atop his head. There was something...or a couple of things? Protruding from there? He reached up and felt long antennae. As he ran his fingers along one of them, he could feel a tingling go beneath his skull, almost as if he were directly touching his own brain. It was actually rather uncomfortable. He let go, making another mental note not to do that again.
He silently chided himself for becoming that distracted when more serious matters were happening around him, then looked down at Rhone still lying on the stone floor with a look of deep concern. "Come along now, you look due for a visit to the infirmary yourself." He telekinetically drew Azriel's pack to himself and slung it over his shoulder. Then recalling what he'd gleaned out of Azriel's memory from his time in her mindspace—that Rhone was much lighter than he looked—he went ahead and picked him up, cradling him at the upper back and under the knees. "Actually, I know where that is myself," he said toward Max, "If you would please follow me."
Eloysio led the way at a brisk pace, but not so much of a run. His legs still felt too new for that, after four thousand years of floating around as a ghost.

Sirea had a look of concern from noticing the amount of blood Rhone was coughing up, which had her turn her head away for a moment while scrunching her nose. The scent of blood bothered her moreso than the sight of it. It didn't really help that having a heighten sense of smell made the scent seem stronger to her. "I...think you're not fine and should go to the infirmary as well..." She said, while trying her hardest to fight the nauseating feeling she was getting. It was then she caught notice of Max coming out from under some foliage. So it seems we have another witness who have seen the ritual. She thought to herself.
It was then Rhone mention about the insect that got caught in the spell, which would explain Eloysio's fairy-like features. "Oh right, I saw it too." She said, taking a moment to examine Eloysio closely. "Though you don't look all that bad with the added features. Does that mean you'll be attracted to shiny things like the insect?" Of course the werevixen herself loves anything shiny, especially anything silver. When Eloysio picked up Rhone and began to lead Max to the infirmary, Sirea would then follow after them. "You sure you won't need some help?" She asked Eloysio. Afterall, he had been dead for so long that she was quite certain that it would take him some time to adjust having being alive once more.

"HeeEEeeyyy..."
Rhone protests, but finds himself unable to move much, noticing his arm go limp at his side as Eloysio picks him up.
"...Oh. Er... Just make sure there's a window open in the room I end up in...gonna let my body absorb mana from nature to help me just kinda...sleep this off..."
Max's expression changes to annoyance as she responds.
"You saw how much blood you coughed up, right? How do you sleep off internal bleeding?"
She picks up her pace a little so she can look at him for his response when she notices he's completely unconscious. Her expression sinks as her eyes fill with worry.
"What...What did you do to yourself?..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, Rhone had escaped to his mindspace as his body lost consciousness. He approaches the door to Azriel's mindspace and stares at it for a few moments, pondering.
"Normally I'd knock...but I'm worried about how the others are doing...and whether they're even in any shape to answer...to hell with it!"
Rhone flings the door open and quickly walks forward.
"Hey! Everyone alright?!"
Eloysio reacted to Sirea's query with a bashful smile. He could only simply answer, "Well...only time will tell, really. And yes, I'm alright--whoop!" he had a sudden misstep and almost tripped, but fortunately he caught himself, "...Mostly alright. sweatdrop I can handle this, but I thank you for your concern."
Upon reaching the infirmary, Eloysio pleaded for two beds to be prepared for Azriel and Rhone in--at the latter's request--a windowed room. The nurses and attendants stared dumbfounded at the tall, fairy-like man for a few moments because who was this and how did he get into the village? He wasn't with that group that came earlier in the day...
Still, everyone was swiftly assisted to the desired quarters. Once Azriel and Rhone were laid carefully upon futons, Eloysio made a list of materials he wanted the attendants to gather. After sending them on their way, he paced about between the two's resting places, full of concern.
What Rhone would see before him is a stretching endless black and all three of them lying face down on the light blue-tiled floor of the mindspace.
They gave a collective groan in response; Oscuro weakly raised a hand for a few moments to, well, flip the bird.
"Oscuro..." Chiaro growled softly.
"Eeeeeeyyy. S'not like I'm...ungratefuuuulll," the dark one slurred, "S'just...goddess damn...that fking hurt! All the way to our mindspace forms! All three of us!" classified_fu
Azriel was occasionally twitching and trying to dig her nails into the floor. "I can still feel all these... needles..." she whined faintly, "...these needles feel like six inches long...thousands of them..." gonk
