((First roll = sound attack
Second roll = energy wave
Third roll = number of damage to the whale

I hope it's okay to roll for those both rounds. ^^;; ))

Other 'soldiers' (she had imagined soldiers look quite differently than that honestly) had arrived, each of them stranger looking than other. Jade didn't started to wonder their appearances outloud though. That would been rude and there were already people doing that so she didn't really need to. The world was enough chaotic already.

Jade didn't like chaotic.

Suddenly, the rainbow path they had been walking on, started to rumble. She, like everyone, started to run towards the direction where the senshi were leading at them. However, the kimono was not designed for running as soon she found herself fallen on her knees on the rainbow bath. Embarrasing really. Jade didn't like failing, especially not in front of others. She was the type who stood still like a rock and when such failure like this one happened, she was not happy.

And then it hit her. Ear-piercing supersonic sound beam was so loud that Jade could barely stay up. She placed her hands over her ears, trying to chase the sound away. Should anyone had come to help her or yelled intructions to her, their pleas went to the deaf ears.

The second attack of the whale was luckily missed and even though her ears were still ringing, she wasn't that helpless anymore.

Jade waited. And waited. And waited, dodging at her best those powerful swipes of the whale's massive tail. When she calculated the whale being enough close to them, she suddenly jumped forward, using her toes to give her jump a little extra boost. Her hand was extended, landing a hit on the whale's side. It wasn't a powerful attack but it was at least something.

Oh dear. Evidently, the Space Whale Awful Doom Beam made people go whackadoo and that was never a good thing. Truthfully, Anandi wasn't sure what to do in this situation. She was being petted like an animal and called Jojo by this poor woman and Anandi didn't do much in the beginning for fear of being either bitchslapped or molested.

Neither one of those sounded very good right now.

Instead, her facial features screwed up into something off of an internet forum, making sad puppy dog eyes at the one calling her just that. "Ah... I'm a good boy? But I'm a girl..." It all ended not with a bang, but with a whimper. Anandi was shoved into the chest of a complete stranger and was being fondled like a family pet. Her lower lip quivered and she felt no stronger than your typical dishrag.

O^O

"Miss? Miss, ah... I'm not a dog... Miss?"

Another blast of energy from the giant whale. Another made run and dive from Aya. She was feeling pretty good about herself as she rose to her feet, having managed to dodge it yet again.

"I guess all those gym classes are paying off," she said with a sharp grin. It faded as the situation came back to her. Dodging wouldn't work forever, and there was still a space whale and a strange rainbow-bridged 'Surrounding' to worry about. Even if she did manage to make it back home, Aya knew she'd be sore as hell tomorrow morning. She'd have to suffer through a staff meeting with aching muscles, bruised bones, and the knowledge that she was less than plankton to some giant-a** whale on the outer rings of their solar system.

Why yes, the evening was sucking quite hard. She was surrounded by a group of magical kids with bigger bitchfaces than her own, a bunch of non-magical kids who were alternating between whiny and flat out crazy, and the sanest person Aya could find was a talking, magically-transforming catboy. And since they still had no idea who was responsible for all this, Aya was going to take it out on the only thing she could - the giant whale.

One of the other girls had the right idea. Aya picked up a rock from the broken 'ground' (did a solid rainbow really classify as ground?), no bigger than a baseball. Gym-toned muscles bunched and released, the rock shooting straight for the giant target in the sky. It was a little hard to miss such a huge form. Aya almost felt bad about it.

Almost.

Oh Lord, she'd been too good at being motherly. Or was she really just that old looking that it wasn't hard to hallucinate her as someone's own grandmother? Staring at the girl in horror as she grabbed at the other girl trying to help and began treating her like a dog, she looked about but dared not try to move away from the temporarily, she hoped, insane teenager. "Sh, don't hurt the.. well, don't hurt your puppy, honey. Jojo needs to breathe." Reaching a finger down and getting Anandi's attention, she smiled even as her eyebrows furrowed in concern. "I'm Carolynn, it's nice to meet you 'Jojo'."

Raven just laughed, watching Carolynn and Anandi. "Hey, hey!" She tugged on Carolynn's sleeve. "Grandma, when's Grampa going to come to dinner, I'm starving, and I know Jojo wants his food too."

She pointed towards the whale. "Go get him, Jojo. Go get Grampa, tell him to come home now. It's dinner time."

If only Raven could hear herself now. She would die. Hands down.

From the smashed boobage of one crazy girl, Anandi made a small wave to Carolynn. "Hello Miss Carolynn." came a reply, but really, it was more muffled and pathetic, like, "Hffl Mbb Cfarlffinb.", but hopefully the older woman got the picture. Jojo thankfully wasn't turning blue yet, but a small amount of flailing on the Indian girl's end may have allowed her lungs more air than was previously being granted to them. That in and of itself was a blessing and Anandi considered herself quite lucky.

So she went from a rainbow road junky to space whale roadkill and now... the family dog.

Things were looking up!

When told to go fetch 'Grandpa', Anandi made a small attempt to appease the hallucinating woman and get some much-needed personal space back. "Ah... bark bark?" And now back away sloooooowly...

(( And now I have to go to bed. See you guys in the morning! ))

After Hawke managed to boffer the Fade Pride Whale Demon, She found herself being screamed at. About love. Oh s**t. Oh s**t. Someone. Was having. A girl moment. "Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." Sadly, Hawke at the tender age of 16 and having successfully been labeled as weird by a fair number of her peers, had about as much knowledge of girl moments as she did AP Chemistry. Which was, jack s**t.

So she settled for just giving Mal a light pat on the back with her free hand and going "It's okay, they would have wanted you to be happy?"

She kind of wished she'd watched more teen dramas. Maybe then she'd know what to do.

He had no problem with Felicia leaning against him for support. So she was still having trouble regaining her balance. Felix was patient, firmly grasping one of her arms in case her legs suddenly gave way. “Hero?” he repeated, quirking an eyebrow at the nickname she bestowed upon him. “It’s Felix.” Soon as the words left his lips, he realized that he had never told her his name. Of course she would use such an oddball title. He frowned. For now, Felix would have to bear with the temporary name.

“Weird is only the tip of the iceberg,” he agreed, but then he became confused as she buried her head in his chest. Question marks swam in his eyes as he cautiously held onto her shoulders. Silently he stared at Callum and Layton, giving them a look that implored them to explain, help, do something. This was kind of awkward and confusing and…

He kept staring at cupcake Layton and Callum's fork. "Christ, looking at you is making me hungry."

"Oh, uh, Grandpa said not to worry about him with supper tonight. I made a nice, full, lunch and he's still very full." Thus far the older woman was in awe of herself, improv was never anything she'd thought she'd be good at. Let alone improv with no real cues to go off of-- But here she was: Carlolynn MacCrimmon, Improvisational Master and "Grandma". The latter title made her slump. Just a little.

Looking at the girl being clung to as "the dog", she sighed with relief as the poor girl was let go and told to go find Grandpa Whale. Shaking her head, she looked at the other woman with her sanity still in tact and gave her a look that she prayed conveyed the right message. Run. She was trying to say. Run away, Jojo.

"Nice to meet ya, too." It was, even with the space whale attacking. He always enjoyed meeting new people, and the ones here were no exception.

"What I wouldn't give for some sort of weapon at the moment. Even one of those foam boffers that the larpers have would be better than shoes and rocks." Admittedly, they were better than not having anything, he wasn't even sure if they could get close enough for hand to hand with the giant beast, but he certainly wouldn't mind something more helpful. "You'd think that the locals would be more useful than they seem to be."

It was needless to say that at this point Cameron was beginning to think that he was not quite in Destiny City anymore. The idea that this was all some frosh week prank was beginning to seem less and less likely when not just terrorists started appearing all around but a ******** whale. A whale? Really? There was no way there was a ******** whale in the school.

This idea brought forth some difficult ideas to process for a scientific man, most of them involving around the fact that meant he was really in space and he was really standing on some sort of spectrum of light road. Oh, this had to just be some sort of dream right? At this point both of his hands had found their way to his head, holding it as an insistent throbbing seemed to be pursuing the tissue in his head.

It all really brought to question just what Cameron was taking to make him have such whacked up dreams but that would all have to be questioned later because right now Cameron was a little busy at the fact the whale was attacking him. He moved to get away from it but instead he was hit with whatever sort of attack his dream whale decided to hit him. However, it didn't seem to stay a whale very long. He was beginning to hallucinate and it was quite a hallucination. The whale had turned into what appeared to be a wallaby with a hammer for a head.

"Oh you got to be ******** kidding me," he announced, not all that quietly as he attacked the whale (aka the wallaby with a hammer for a head).

Varya Knightly was winning! Well, she was often winning, but this time it felt more exhilarating. Or possibly it was all of the blood rushing to her head, since she was winning at a handstand contest. The boys around her had dropped like flies. One had dropped when her shirt had accidentally done the same. It was just her and another boy, and he looked like he was going to pass out at any moment.

And just like that the hoots of victory went up around her- she could see Sam falling! And with a flash, she lost it all. The silence and confusion around her was palpable. Suddenly what had been carpet under her forearms was a wash of glowing blue concrete that was vaguely see through if she squinted at it. Var stayed upside down for a few moments longer before leaning down.

That was when the world started to spin, apparently the cost of victory was her equilibrium. A spinning world full of rainbows, stars, and people she didn't know was even worse however. Varya shut her Grey eyes, blinking them owlishly trying to get it to stop. But it wouldn't, no matter how hard she tried. The girl sat on what passed for a ground and stuck her head between her legs.

When she lifted it back up, everything had gone from confusion to chaos. There was a whale? And they were in space? Varya wondered for a moment if she was still suffering the effects of blood rush. "What is going on?" The question was more than a little feeble, asked to no one in particular. They were all running around like crazy, and worst of all no one was paying attention to her!

Pandemonium. It was the situation created when you put random people in a strange place and then threw a monster at them that they were ill-equipped to handle. Yes, the Zodiac senshi were present, their Princess capable and caring for all those nearby, but they simply were not enough.

It had attacked again and again almost as if it were testing, playing, just observing what would be done if it did this or that. Certainly it wanted to snuff out and devour all the little lights existing on that pure rainbow road. But it wasn't in a hurry to do so which was the truest oddity.

Even with Sailor Cancer glowing in its gullet the whale did something none of them could have anticipated -- it retreated. Even though its mouth was full of senshi so it could not scream its sonic blast, the hum was not to be denied. That eerie song that had heralded the arrival of this monster from beyond the stars was doing something different this time.

It was resonating.

Rainbow hues of the road were glowing, trembling, growing brighter. They filled the eyes of the civilians all present until it faded. But when it faded, it was almost as if they were all hallucinating again. Everyone had changed colors!.

It wasn't just their hair, their skin, or their eyes. Oh no it was all of these. They looked like something out of a cartoon with varied shades of a single color all over their bodies. Some had umber hair, citrus orange eyes, pale creamsicle skin. Another girl had ocean blue hair, clear sky eyes, and skin the color of deep midnight. They were also all…feeling…a bit odd…

Quote:
You've Been Colorized!

Roll TWO 12-sided die.

FOR THE FIRST NUMBER...

If you rolled a 1 or 2:

Red - Anger. ******** WHALES ON ******** ROADS! There exists inside of you a fury that is barely controlled. Or perhaps not controlled at all? I guess it's a good time to explore control mechanisms.

If you rolled a 3 or 4:

Orange - You're the perfect mix between mellow carelessness and anger. In other words, you're perfectly in control of yourself. Man, you really are the lucky ones! Too bad you are now the most unfortunate-looking shade of the rainbow.

If you rolled a 5 or 6:

Yellow - Mellow. Not a care in the world, who cares that you're in space? You sure don't. Nothing is really bothering you like it should and you're aware of it…but you can't seem to care somehow. Can you?

If you rolled 7 or 8:

Green - Scared. Yeah, I know, everyone is scared. You're in a strange place with strange people and strange God-knows-whats are attacking you and making things absolutely miserable. You want your mommy. You'd actually like a whole platoon of mommies right about now. Do you curl up and hide or master your fear?

If you rolled a 9 or 10:

Blue - Sad. Nobody understands how upset you are! Never mind that you are all in the same situations, the same places, no, that means nothing. They just don't understand your suffering. And boy, are you suffering. But hey, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Right?

If you rolled an 11 or 12:

Violet - Passionate. Oh boy are you alive! Everything is moving, you can't sit still, you want to do things and be things and oh man did you see those stars! This is the best energy drink you've ever had in your life. Do those things even work on you? You also find everyone around you immensely attractive. Good luck keeping it in check!

The intensity of the emotion is strong but whether you give in to it, resist, or find some other way to cope is all up to you. I'm sure it's quite interesting, all those emotions, all those colors! As long as the whale keeps singing, your colors will remain.

But that was not all.

After turning all of the civilians into some sort of Rainbow Brite creatures, the massive space whale cracked its great mouth open so that Sailor Cancer was visible, blacked out against the pink wall of its tongue. Her prone form disappeared suddenly as a sea of black bats erupted from the Space Whale. They were no bigger than wolves, but each one had a set of nasty fangs and beady red eyes.

And they all wanted to play with the civilians.

Quote:
BAT ATTACK -- There is one winged baddie going after each one of you!

FOR THE SECOND NUMBER...

Even number means you have injured your attacking bat somehow!
The bats have 10HP each.
You can roll until it is dead!
The number that you roll is how much you damage the bat for.

Odd number means the bat has injured you!
The number you roll determines the severity of the injury. A roll of 1 might be a bruise on your arm, while a 5 is a broken finger, and a 10 is a broken limb! You can determine the exact injury.

This round will last until tomorrow. Have fun in this -- feel free to summon more bats and injure/fight until the break o' dawn~ The madness will intensify on Labor Day!

Orange.... While Natalia could appreciate the color, it certainly wasn't her favorite. Still, she felt calm. After her hissy fit, attacking the whale, and then another hissy fit, it seemed to finally come full circle. Acceptance. This wasn't a dream. This wasn't a nightmare. Yeah, she could die. Yes, she probably would die at this rate. Yes, they were actually in space and yes, that was an actual a space well who had eaten an actual terrorist.

Natalia somehow achieved zen. In the color orange. She breathed a calm sigh, and just stood on place, eyes closed and a pleasant expression on her face as all sorts of cacophony went on around her.

Until a bat hit her upside the head.

What the hell!? That was a big bat too... It had sent her back to the ground, landing roughly on her bottom. One of its claws had knicked her temple area, and a small trickle of blood slowly trickled down the side of her face. She rubbed at it, stared at the blood now on her hand, but still just seemed completely calm. Huh....

"Aw hell!" Ricky shouted, covering his ears. The deafness had finally faded away and the unicorn was gone, but now his ears were now ringing with the whale's song as his body shifted into a bright GREEN hue. Everyone else was changing colors as well. He really wished that the 'we are all in a dream' theory or 'we are all hallucinating' theory hadn't been ruled out. He'd much rather believe those than think this was reality.

That idea terrified him, more than he could have suspected. His heart was racing and his stomach felt like it was being turned into knots, butterflies pounding in anxious fright. He was having a panic attack. Or a heart attack? His heart was beating with such force his only reaction was to clench it.

"Breathe, Ricky, Breathe," he said to himself, inhaling deep and holding a long exhale. He repeated this process over and over until his heart rate slowed to a more reasonable pace. It was no different than a rough cardio exercise, he just needed to cool down and collect himself. "Ain't nuttin' to be afraid of. You ain't dyin' anytime soon, Ricky. If you were, you'd been a damn ********' dead man a long time ago."

It was a shame how many times he had to give himself that little pep talk that night.
