Lizzy released Jericho from her hug as he stood up, tilting her head at him as she took his arm, "A-are you alright?" He looked... Off for some reason.
"If possible, yes," She smiled sheepishly, "Please?"

Roch blinked at the sight of Claire dancing alone, then facepalmed, feeling like a complete a**. But the truth was, if he went out there and danced-- Actually... Damn, those guys SUCKED at dancing, too... With a shrug he tossed the trash behind the food table, giving up on finding a trash can and went out on the dance floor, doing the stupidest dance he knew.

Hearing Lizzy asking Jericho to dance Mitsu turned back to the pair with a weak smile. "Yes, you should dance." She tried to encourage, her ears still looking a little deflated from moments ago. In her head she was still trying to work out why Shun had sounded so angry but his words of apology soon caught her attention.
"I..It's okay," Mitsu said softly. "I...I didn't realize I had upset you." It looked like that good feeling from the ear rubbing was starting to wear off, her face shifting back into a nervous expression.

"Y-yeah I'm fine," Jericho said with a nervous grin before glancing at Mitsu. Even she was trying to get him to go, "And uh... alright. I.. guess."
Standing up straight now, he took in a deep breath and shifted his wings. Hopefully this wouldn't go too badly.
"Alright.. shall we?" he asked while tentatively taking Lizzy's hand to head to the dance floor.

Looking at Mitsu again, Shun let out a sigh as he noticed that she was growing rather nervous once more. With a sort of grimace, he lifted a hand up to lightly scratch her ear for a moment with the hopes of that settling her down again.
"Dont' worry about it."

Damien returned back the puzzled look that Jove gave him, the canine confused face does not work well against its kind. "you know, a date, a special ghoul you came here with." he tried to explain the concept over the throbbing bass that made the floor shake at the center of the dance floor.
At least the ghoul that came charging at them was distracted by the other ghost boil that he knew, not sure why she told them to wait in the first place, was she going to serve him? well not Jove because he wasn't really dancing to begin with, just swaying like a leaf in the breeze.
he did however catch sight of his other bud, the punk reaper Roch making his way onto the floor with an interesting dance routine that made the hound cringe from the sight. "What are you doing Roch?" he asked out loud, mostly to himself before shielding his eyes from the shame.

"Thanks, Mr Jericho," She smiled, giving his hand a gentle squeeze as she was led to the dance floor. The music was an interesting one, starting off rather slow and then speeding up into something faster and louder. However, since it starts off slow...
She placed her free hand on his shoulder, while the hand holding onto his tightened a little. She leaned in a little, smiling sheepishly at her friend as she blushed, "I'm used to letting the boil lead... Remember Scarentine? You did well then, so don't let me down~" She giggled, maintaining his gaze as they started to sway to the music.

Roch pulled to a stop, still feeling like an idiot, then glanced around, seeing Demi there. It gave him an excuse to stop dancing, which he promptly did, heading for the hellhound. "I suck at dancing," he told the other boil. "And it didn't help that all the guys back home had different styles, and tried to shove all of them down my throat at once."

Sipping away, she returned the thumbs up gesture to Lizzy. Yep! Give it yer all, eh? Jericho might have eaten too much... as he seemed to have trouble getting up at first. The tatzel figured he'd get a good work out from the dancing though. It could help the digestion!
She smiled at Mitsu who agreed with Lizzy and herself, then watched the two make their way to the dance floor.

That nervous expression had focused on the table for a moment as Mitsu's thoughts continued on. The lupine was trying to figure out what she had done exactly to warrant Shun being so upset, she wanted to avoid doing it again if possible.
She was so focused on trying to figure things out she didn't see Shun's hand coming up to her head. As soon as his fingers began to rub at her ears she let out a soft gasp, her head unconsciously moving toward the reaper's touch. The instant calm button had been pushed again her expression settling once again as she melted a little into her seat.

Still grinning a little awkwardly, Jericho nodded at the comment on Scarentine.
"Yeah. But.. it's probably better that way. You saw how things happened with Levi," he said with a weak chuckle. That was a little disastrous on his part. He couldn't keep up! It was a wonder that Mot was able to match her for the most part during that hoe-down.

It was a little strange to see her react like this, but now Shun knew a way in which he could get her to calm down in the case she started to freak out or anything along those lines. It worked better than the hand on shoulder in any case. He scratched her ears lightly for a little longer, hen let his hand drop back down to his side.
"You don't have to be nervous here," he said quietly, "Just.. try to enjoy things."

Deacon had gotten lost in the crowd, too. Emily was rather... Short and quiet, therefore a bit easier to lose than Cady. Munching on a spookie he'd snagged before walking away from the table, since the witch had went off with the collection of her own for herself and Cady he suspected. He was a bit lazy in looking around, figuring that in the excitement that the two ghouls would be fine until the three of them reunited.
What did get his attention was the beginning of the mad mismatching of dance... Where Nuk made a complete idiot of himself, in Deacon's opinion. He wasn't far from falling into a fit of laughter much as Junko had, although with food in his mouth he had to struggle not to choke right there as he tried to weave his way across the dance floor.
He wasn't joining this growing display of idiocy, or at least he didn't intend to.

Jove shook his head, he didn't come with a ghoul. That would be just... ew. He had been with Tomoko briefly, and Junko, but they didn't count. He didn't go with them, after all. The pup knew better than to go out on dates with ghouls, that seemed like a good way to end up catching one of those FEARinfections the nurse had talked about in class.
When Demi looked past Jove into the crowd, the little ghostling turned to follow his glance. And immediately backed up into the taller canine in fear as he realized who Demi had been talking to.
That reaper. The one that kept on staring at him!

"Oh, don't worry," She smiled, unable to resist giggling softly at his comment, "I like having the boy lead, actually... I'll follow your pacing!" She nodded as the song sped up and got loudly all of a sudden. She grinned, letting him do the leading as she carefully avoided stepping on his feet. It went a little like this:

Damien could no longer resist patting the smaller boil on his head when he admitted that he didn't come with a partner either, feeling much more at ease about going stag. "Its alright I didn't come with anyone either." at least, he was supposed to come with Levi, except that whole mental argument quickly changed those plans, but he wasn't going to admit that out loud, before the longtail appeared out of the crowd.
his did feel Jove try to burrow closer into his suit when he spotted Roch from across the way whom he was calling out to, and gave his shoulder a reassuring squeeze to ease his panic. "No worries Jove, Roch is alright, different but alright. he said soothingly to the foxfire. "Ren would have my hide if anything happened to you while I was around, so I'd never get you into anything dangerous, and Roch isn't dangerous."
He did turn his attention over to the reaper making his way over to the two of them, waving at him in greeting while having his other hand on Jove. "well, it wasn't that bad man, you moved afterall" he said to his buddy boil with a flair. "You clean up decently." he quipped up to him and his new attire, he never expected him to dress up for the event in the first place. "So, where's Claire?" he asked after some time between the three of them.

Roch's eyes fell on the ghost boil before he replied, a strangely blank expression crossing his face before he tilted his head slightly. "So you are a boil," he said, wondering why the tiny little thing just didn't seem to spark his "s**t it's a ghost!" reaction. Probably because he was trying to crawl into Demi's shirt...
But he turned his attention to Demi, forgetting (or trying to at least) about the ghost. "She's dancing," he said, glancing at the dance floor. "Um... what in the hell do you DO with a date, you know?" he asked lowly, his hands shoved in his pockets, his shoulders slumped. "I brought her food before this thing started, that seemed to make her happy."
