Emil had a shocked look on his face when he saw Cleo's move on Zaul. It seemed as though the female elf had become a complete different person from the one he and Zaul met last night. When she made her move on the blonde male, his face turned beet red with having a dumbfounded expression. He didn't know what to think aside from being glad that Marta isn't present to make the situation even more awkward for him.. "Um....Uh...Are you feeling okay, Cleo?" sweatdrop
Hearing sounds of something dragged acrossed the ground, he glanced over to see Oro with a sack of gels. "That's alot of gels you got there." He said with a sheepish smile until he caught notice of Lloyd walking over to the hooded figure. He was about to speak until he saw Arakiel pass by. From noticing her horns and tail, he couldn't help but wonder what she could be. However, he snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Zaul's question about where were they again. "Oh right. Schwarz said something about Colette being at Hima." ^.^;

Cleo nodded at Nepheus's question. "Oh, I slept just fine. Sleeping with the trees is so much better than at an inn." The elf then looked to Zaul. "Oh? I'm the same ole' Cleo you met last night, handsome. I also don't drink." Cleo looked at Zaul with a seductive smile. "You don't mean what now?" She returned her attention to Emil, her red lips still curled in a smile. "I'm doing wonderfully well, Emil, thank you for asking."
When everyone's attention turned to Oro, she moved over towards the pup and offered him the orange she was eating. "Aw, Oro. You look so cute carrying such a huge bag." With her other hand, Cleo reached out to scratch Oro behind the ears.

Cinkel nodded at the group they had together. "Well, did you all eat a good breakfast? You can't go through the day if you don't have the strength." He smiled.

"I 'ad me breakfast with me, so I ate jus' after I got up. This dwarf's fed himself already." Jason slapped his stomach, indicating that he had eaten.
"So many clumsy lollygaggers! He lightly tapped his forehead with his other hand. "But 'ey, don't hurry on my account. Dwarven Vow 44: Haste makes waste! Take yer time, says I." He clearly wanted to get moving, yet seemed oddly patient. His behaviors truly were strange at times.

The figure didn't speak, but turned to Lloyd. They appeared to stare at Lloyd for a few moments, then walked over, reaching for a pad of paper on their back and a pen in a pouch on their belt. Quickly and accurately, the figure wrote out a short message and handed it to Lloyd to read.
"My name is Meteo Ateras. I've been cursed by a witch to be silent. I intend to find her and make her remove her curse. I was hoping you could help me find her. If not, I understand."

Oro happily accepted the scratch behind the ears from Cleo, something he'd normally avoid. He then ate the bit of orange he was offered.
Schwarz watched in puzzled amazement of the sight, Oro never let anyone do thata without looking like a sour puss. "O...kaaaay, I think I should monitor Oro's gel intake, for the next little bit." sweatdrop
He then looked around and noticed that Lloyd talking to a new guy. He smiled menacingly and walked up next to Lloyd, "Ooooh! Fresh meat ta grill." He meant it figuratively not literally.

((Post length isn't really something any of us here grill each other about, so don't worry. XD))
Zaul blinked and made a befuddled stare back at Cleo as she addressed him again. "Er....well...tha...it ain't nothin' important, darlin'." _^;; It was a habit of his to call others by momentary nicknames like "kid", "soldier", the aforementioned "darling", and such, but this was often without intimate meaning. Realizing what he just called her, he hoped she understood that. Looking back to Emil, he continued, "So. Hima, huh? I ain't expectin' t' make a stop at that place, but if we do, there're a coupl'a people I'd like t' visit." He smiled warmly as if recalling fond memories, then shrugged. "Don' mind if we can't, though. There'll be lots'a other times."
Lloyd intently read the note handed to him for a few moments. When he was through, he looked back up at Meteo with an expression of concern. "Wow, that sucks. I do kinda have a mission I'm on, not to mention there are some people I'm trying to meet back up with, but...I can always take time out to help someone in need." Now bearing a more positive look, he smiled and nodded. "I'm sure my friends would like to help out too."

Colette gave a smile when she heard Hina's compliment. "You're welcomed, Hina." ^_^ She then turned her attention to Cinkel. "I'm good as well." She then made a sheepish smile when Jason mentioned 'clumsy lollygaggers'. "Seems everyone's ready so we should get going." She said as she began to walk.

Emil blinked a bit after hearing Cleo's response. "I'm glad to hear it." ^.^ He said with a sheepish smile. He caught notice of Oro letting Cleo scratch behind his ears. "You're enjoying this, aren't you?" He then glance over to Zaul when he mentioned that there were a couple of people in Hima he would like to visit. "Do you have friends and family there, Zaul?" He asked curiously.

Meteo bowed when Lloyd said he would help, still keeping his hood up. He didn't like being looked at, made him self-conscious about his inability to speak. But for now, his concern was finding that witch and getting rid of the curse. Whether he had to kill the witch or not.
With his thoughts bent on revenge, Meteo approached the rest of the group, taking a measure of them as best he could. From what he could see they didn't seem too capable, but he'd learned long ago not to trust appearances. Besides, Lloyd was the hero of Aselia, so anyone traveling with him was likely more powerful than Meteo could imagine.

With a smile, Cleo winked at Zaul. Whether she was winking at him because she understood him or to him calling her darling was unknown. If he showed no signs of resist, Cleo moved to pick up Oro and his sack of gels.

"Well, if everyone's ready, we might as well get a move on now. Yes?" Cinkel nodded with a smile. After making some final marks on the map, he placed it in the bag around his waist. "No need to burn sunlight."

Zaul answered Emil, still smiling warmly. He didn't notice Cleo's wink once he got into telling his story. "Jus' friends. A couple'a people I used t' travel with. One's a sweet gal, like the li'l sis I'd love to've had. She was th' better treasure hunter between us. The other's a wise ol' feller who practices interestin' kinds'a magic. Great times we had. Well, th' two soon fell deeply in love with each oth'r an' decided t' settle down in 'er hometown, which happens t' be Hima. In a visit a long while back, I noticed she was on 'er way t' havin a kid. A few more 'casional visits later, looked like she's gonna have twins! I jus' wonder if they've been born yet." _^
Lloyd took Meteo's bow as a "thank you", to which he replied with a "Hey, no problem." When the man approached the rest of the group, Lloyd turned back to them to explain. "You guys, this is Meteo. He says...er...wrote that a witch cursed him to be silent." He held up the note he was given, showing it to everyone else. "I know we got somewhere to go, but you're all okay with giving a hand, right? I mean, who knows...we might run into this witch as we travel, right?"
Zaul quietly eyed the newcomer, thinking him mysterious indeed. "Well, yer th' boss o' th' moment, Lloyd, if yer okay with it, then it's fine by me. I take it there's no rush tryin'a catch up with Colette?"
"Hmm..." The red-clad swordsman looked thoughtful for a second. He did kind of feel like he wanted to hurry, if only to see if Colette was alright. But he was also sure she could take care of herself given what she had been through, plus she was traveling with company anyway. "Well not that much, but after we do catch up, I've got plenty of time to spare." :)
After speaking his mind, Lloyd awaited the others' responses.

Arakiel thought, wondering about the group. She bluntly stared at them as she did so, taking a few steps forward. Hopefully, human warriors were not easily threatened, though there were times when Arakiel had been attacked over a simple step. She usually ate well on those nights, though. A few of the group members seemed oblivious, in their own business. A few took a short notice, but otherwise left Arakiel to her own devices. Amusing, but also expected. Interested, Arakiel addressed the group, finding a seat at the fountain-side and taking it. "Have you all gathered for a hunting session? You wouldn't be a group of heroes, would you?" She said loudly to the group. Having stared at them for a moment, Arakiel felt she wouldn't be too surprising to them. If they were heroes, Arakiel considered taking route in their group and, when they left town, striking from within. Another thought was to simply follow them. But there were too many. Arakiel was well aware of her limits, and a group of this size would destroy her in moments. Maybe they were better left alone, but the sense of thrill was enticing. Maybe a trap to set for this wayward group. If they were only hunters, Arakiel was certainly not going to bother with them, though they were a rather unique group.

Oro dived into his sack and retrieved a seafood gel, and swallowed it whole, he then placed his snout in Cleo's palm, and set a telepathic message 'Take a few if you want Miss Cleo,' he then promptly sneezed, he really should stop rubbing his nose in things he always got a strange whiff of scents.
Oro then ran over to Schwarz and with one mighty leap he jumped up to his brother's head in sprawled out.Schwarz cocked an eyebrow, as he whispered "So you forgive me for yesterday?"
'Hardly, I'm just tired of walking,' Oro looked over towards the woman with the horns, 'what do you make of her?'
"Of who n-" Schwarz answer gazed over towards the Arakeil, "Oh my... hubba hubba." He would have whistled if he wasn't trying to keep the conversation between themselves.
'focus here idiot, she seems off soul wise if you ask me.' Oro wasn't sure what it was but she was off the normal souls where like in this world, real off.
"Your just over analyzing things, remember when we first met Lloyd and the others."
Oro sighed mentally 'I hope you're right for once Schwarz.'
((quick question how does one sigh mentally?))

Emil smiled as he listened to Zaul's story. "Perhaps along the way, we'll make a stop to Hima so you could visit with your friends." He said. He then saw the silent figure walk up to the group. He glanced over to Lloyd. "Sure, I'm alright with helping out. I mean, it wouldn't be right to just abandon someone in need." He heard Arakiel's question. "Hunting session?" He asked with a curious tone. Do people try to hunt her? He thought to himself.

Meteo motioned with his hands he was hunting a witch, but that wasn't the primary goal of the group as far as he knew. He made no sign of noticing the woman's appearance, his mind focused on his goal, his vengeance.
