Before was overjoyed, truly and utterly overjoyed to find Beta 3. Later it will occur to him (whenever later was) that of course she'd be there, he'd killed her after all :CCCC but for the moment, he was just glad to see his teammate. He was about to launch himself at her in a hug, the same he had Thor when she hugged him first CCCCC: That made him feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. Like he'd just eaten a box of kittens.
Yes, THAT warm and fuzzy and happy! "Chee-er-Bee!!" he corrected himself as he returned the hug, ready to babble about how he switched his pendant with hers and gave his to Bix so that he could get out but from out of nowhere, EVIL ATTACKED THOR! DDDDDD8
"GET OFF HIM! NOW! YOU! OFF!! STOP THAT! NOW NOW NOW NOW!!! HADN'T YOU HAD ENOUGH BACK IN THE ******** GYM?!?!?!?" >CCCCC He didn't care that the girl was smaller than Thor or what her reasons for attacking him was. He'd had enough of seeing his teammates getting waled on back and, well, NO MORE PLEASE???? ;A; As Thor tried to push her off, Before felt it his duty to help in prying her off. Of course in the process an elbow caught him in the gut and face and ribs whenever Eta VII pulled her arm back to throw another blow at Thor. <********, even in purgatory he was useless. (xAx) He stumbled backwards, more than a little winded and dizzy, and with socks providing little to no traction, he fell onto his a** not too far away from where Delta Niner (DINER!) was.

Delta Nine was sick and tired of the fighting. This was supposed to be some sort of reprieve, wasn't it? It was supposed to be over now? Christ on a cracker, they were all dead now so what did it matter? The martyr bullshit was getting really old, too. People had done things they weren't proud of in order to survive for as long as they could, right?
Delta Nine chuckled as she watched B4 fall flat on his a** near her. She reached out a hand to help him back to his feet and shook her head at him. "They didn't let you keep your boots, man?"

Delta One, who had been busy dwelling in her own dark thoughts, reliving over and over in her mind the last five days, didn't quite notice right away when Eta Seven and Delta Nine both arrived. That is, until she heard the shouting.
Snapping to attention, her eyes landed on Eta Seven, as she threw herself at the Theta and Betas that had been in the gym with them. "Eta Seven!" She called out, sternly, pushing herself away from the bar and going to stand near the girl, reaching a hand out to put on her shoulder.
Now that her incessant headaches had finally ceased, she could think quite a bit more clearly. More gently now, she spoke. "It doesn't matter anymore! We're all dead...and while they helped us get here, we did the same thing to them! Just....let it go, ok?" She stepped back, intent on pulling the emotional and rage filled female back with her. She glanced at the Beta who was laughing, and the other idiotic one who had just slipped backwards and fallen to his a** on the floor. Then to Delta Nine, finally seeing that she had also joined them.
"Well...I guess that's it then, isn't it?" She murmered, to nobody in particular, her eyes wandering again to the open door.
"Does anybody know where that leads?"

Before accepted the proffered limb in order to get back on his feet. His eyes were tearing up just slightly because damn it still hurt to get hit and for some reason he felt he ought to know that elbows were pointy. Hey, they were! And this recent encounter was painful proof of it!
His sniffling became louder at being reminded of his missing footwear, "No, they didn't, but they turned out to be treacherous booterangs so ******** 'em!" >C Boot to the head hurts too! Of course, he hasn't quite recognized who Diner was just yet (forgive him, all he could see at the time were fuzzy colors).

Delta Nine laughed and shook her head. It seemed almost easier to laugh now that she was here. Death didn't seem too terrible, honestly.
"You don't have to tell me," she said, rubbing her back where one memorable booterang strike had landed. "It's probably best that you don't have the boots. They caused me a lot of suffering," she added, grinning behind the mask that covered her face.
"Delta Nine," she said, bracing her hands on her hips. "The last time we met you were hurling boots at my face."
Her attention turned to Delta One and she shrugged. "I bet there's only one way to find out," she said softly, "I'm just.. not ready yet."

Fiver II grasped at Three's hand like he was a stone in a brutal hurricane. The eye of their deadly storm. So this was it. This was the end of their adventure together... or more hopefully it was the beginning. Yes, the darkness wasn't something to fear but to embrace! They were holding hands.
They would come out on the otherside that way! "I'm glad I met both of you... I won't let them erase you from my memories." He whispered in response.
Then after what seemed like a long and frightening hesitation, Three took the first step. Fiver II's let out a frightened sound as his cheery sunny world on the other side of the gate was starting to be darkened by fear.
He didn't want to leave them. Not now. Not ever. If that meant they had to stay here- No. He had to go through. They were going together and he wasn't going to abandon them now. Fiver and Three... he needed them.
If they made it through the rest of this horrid place together then...they could make it through that door. Eyes set on the dark he stood up taller trying to match the height of the other two. Trying to appear brave.
Nothing mattered but the three of them being together. They were. The door was nothing compared to that.
Following their suit and gripping Three's hand tightly, he stepped through the inky black and into the unknown. Only a quiet, "I love you," followed him though who or what it was directed at was never explained.

Glancing at the door while Before struggled to his feet with the help of Delta nine Bee shrugged and then turned back "According to Boss if you walk through that door you will remember everything but you can never come back" she informed the others - parroting the words she'd been told upon arrival.
Of course speaking of Boss she recalled the other Beta's parting words as well and looked to Before "Boss went through the door - but before she did she told me to tell you that you did well to live so long and you definitely grew balls"

Before blinked from behind his mask, "I was?" His jaw decided it was the perfect moment to go slack, "Oh s**t! I was! S-sorry! But I promised Door and Tonight I'd help them!" ;n; Not that he regretted helping them, but he only hoped she wouldn't take it personally, if she'd gotten to him first he would have probably agreed to help her too. It didn't make him feel or act any less awkward around her though. :CCCC
"Um, um, I'm Before," he introduced, nervously shaking her hand, which he apparently hadn't let go of yet. When Delta Nine answered about finding what's on the other side, Before scanned the room for the aforementioned door. "Oh. Wouldja look at that! Maybe there's a back-room party going on there!"
His good mood suddenly fled when Beta 3 spoke of Boss. "B-Boss is dead? A-and she went through?" He squeaked, voice rising an octave in distress. "B-but, how?! W-when!? Was it during the Call?" ;A; Not even being told that he'd grown the balls that Boss was so adamant he grow seemed to comfort him.

"She didn't really say when or how" Bee told Before - which was a lie but Bee didn't think Before needed to hear that Boss had been chewed on by flesh eating fish and then shot by a poison dart. That would likely cause him to fall down and dissolve into a wailing puddle of mush - Bee did not want to be responsible for such a thing.
"But she seemed alright, and she was laughing when she walked through the door" She offered in hopes of taking the sting out of her news. "At least you know why she never came back now"

XII suddenly found herself in a lounge. Is this what death was like? Everyone hanging out in a lounge? She snorted. Then remembered that she'd been chasing a rabbit and wondered where it gone off to. XII looked around. Nowhere to be seen.

Thor glared at Eta 7 for a moment before his gaze turned to Delta 1, giving her a short respectful bow of his head. He held no hard feelings toward any of them. They, like him and his allies, had only done what they had to in order to survive. It was not their fault they had been throw into such a cruel and desperate situation. He had killed, they had killed, and here they were all equals. It didn't really matter anymore did it?
"Supposedly it leads to the answers, to our memories. Or it may lead no where at all, no one has returned from there to tell us."
A shrug, he hoped it really did lead to the answers. It would suck to go through the door only to find nothing and emptiness. Heh, maybe those were there anyway, whether the answers where there or not.

xxxxxGamma Five sat very silently on the plush cushions. Nothing really ... hurt anymore. It was strange. She had seen a big white light, and then nothing for a while. It had been so nice and warm... she remembered fondly. Like the light had been a puppy or a popsicle on a hot day. Then after the nothingness she had woken up here, in the lounge.
xxxxxShe had to be dead. Five knew that much. True, she felt rather alive at the moment, but something inside of her knew she was dead. It was that sort of feeling that didn't require analyzing. Like when you are cold, you don't have to look at the snow to realize you're cold. You just feel it. It was like that. Five felt she was dead.
xxxxxShe watched the argument go back and forth. They attacked each other, and Five sat by, seemingly unnoticed. Or maybe they really didn't notice her. She saw a Zeta squad member pass through the big gaping hole on the wall, which apparently led to their memories and answers of some sort...
xxxxxFive gasped. Where was Zedu? Had he already gone through the door? Was he without her? Was he hurt? She had so many questions. So many, many questions. What had even been their purpose on that stupid island. Surely someone didn't put them there for the fun of it.
xxxxxYes, Five had a lot of questions, and it seemed there was only one way to get them. Walk through that ominous, swarthy door. Part of her wanted to stay on that comfortable, easy cushion, and just wait for Zedu. What if he had already gone through though? Left her? Maybe he was even ... waiting for her elsewhere? It seemed there really was only one option.
xxxxxWith a deep breath, Five walked over to the door, and stepped through.

...what was this? Who were all these people? Surely there must have been fewer people remaining after all this time. She was looking around the room, trying to get a bearing on her situation when she saw... the blue (Eta) twelve?! She had just seen that girl die, and now she was--
No. Oh, no...
She turned to the nearest person, noticing now that all squads, onces she hadn't even seen, were convening together.
"Am... am I dead?"

Delta 4 is entering the thread from "This is a Test"
Fedora had felt it when she was... well, when she died.
"I am so. So very sorry." Her head was hung, and she laid down on the ground, staring up at the ceiling. She felt horrible.
