Painite was not going to let this senshi attack Labyrinthite without some pay back. She growled, using Mr. Saddles to support herself. She heard Quail speaking, but she couldn't offer him pity or attention, couldn't get distracted.
He might not understand it, but they were here for a purpose. Hell, she might not understand it, fully, but she didn't need to, to believe in it. There were just some things in life that needed to believed in.
She charged.
"Say goodnight, senshi!" Painite yelled, though her body was failing her and she wasn't sure she had the strength to finish this fight. She would damn well try, at the very least, lashing out at Spica with Mr. Saddles.

"Hey!! Bird!" Zinkenite shouted as he made his way as best he could, his attacks on The guardian had put him in place to see the curious events that had followed. Though it had taken him more time than he would have liked to process them.
"I saw what you did..." His voice was conspiratorial, "I saw...what you did to her, I don't think you would have done that if you didn't know SOMETHING...would you. You don't seem the type to betray someone you so -clearly- want to protect so VERY much....so much you're willing to kill."
His voice was velvet and low.
"...Don't worry little bird... This place, and you... we'd like to protect it -too-"

Though he had done some degree of damage to the coordinated efforts of the two Negaverse officers, it was apparently not enough, as the pair ignored him in favor of the other senshi. Vindemiatrix darted closer, but it seemed to be too late already for the other girl.
Balancing with grace on one foot, he twirled to power his other leg at Painite. It might not have been the most badass-looking kick ever executed, but he hoped it would do the job.

It seemed like the trend of the hour was to shout at and beat on Quail's Eye, and Uranophane was not complaining. The senshi were, somehow, a bit far from her mind at that moment. The damned bird was more annoying. He also seemed to have some sort of connection to this part of Elysion if his words amounted to more than the air he was blowing around... and she terribly wanted to see if she could beat it into breaking.
"CAPTAIN WOLFRAMITE!" she bellowed, giving a beckoning motion over to her junior. "Care to assist me and Zinkenite in a little pest control?"
Without waiting to see if she'd gotten an answer, she dove after Quail with her boots again.

She could feel a scowl form across her face after listening to Uranophane's appeal to Quail's Eye. Alcyone was not familiar with the captain, though that didn't matter in the end: each soldier across the Negaverse army was the same, emotionally speaking. They just happened to carry different weapons and battle tactics for their common goal.
"We have no plans of taking over! We were only resting with the permission of the Earth Princess until YOUR ARMY marched right in and assaulted us. We had no choice but to defend ourselves and this world in which you're clearly trying to obtain for yourself." It was possible that the words were merely echos of what Castor had been preaching just moments before his own demise, though Alcyone was unaware of it. Instead, she slowly made her way closer to Quail's Eye as she continued to speak, stopping only a few feet away to give him his space.
"I will protect you."
Her words were badly timed, though, as both Uranophane and Zink attacked shortly after. Without a second to spare, she lifted her arm and aimed a punch at Zinkenite.

Painite looked toward Labyrinthite, just to be sure he was okay, feeling like her body was about to implode. A surge of pride coursed through her, though, knowing she had done her team good so far. She could only hope to continue, to force her body to do more. Seeing Pegasus fall, seeing that senshi be defeated by her hobby horse, it was all thrilling and deeply important.
Unfortunately, she was beyond her limits now.
She saw Vindemiatrix coming for her too late, though she tried to lift Mr. Saddles in her own defense. It was too little, too late. When the senshi's foot collided with her already battered head, she hit the ground hard and didn't get up again. Everything swirled and she closed her eyes, her gaze settling on Labyrinthite before it collapsed into darkness. She would wake up in her room, though a hospital was in order.

Alkaid was lucky enough to see the punch fly her way, flying quickly sideways just in time to take a scuff on the shoulder. She grimaced at the senshi before her, about to retaliate with her own quick blow, when she heard a commotion down near the ground below.
She took a chance to look down, seeing Zink and Uranophane circling in on Quail once more. Another senshi went down, another negaverser, and she was pretty sure Nemesis was no where to be seen..
The battle was raging on while she was wasting time with this flowery brat. With a small sigh she turned her eyes back up at the senshi in front of her, narrowing them at the face she had no name for. "Sorry, I don't have the time to waste on you today, I have a Captain that needs me."
And without anything else she dove down and away from Flora, aiming to land at her friend's side. "Zink!" She couldn't just let the Senshi tear apart their ranks like this.

The punch set him reeling, of course the senshi would start protecting the damn bird, it WAS in their nature...after all, his mistress was on THEIR side, his chaotic attacks not withstanding he was IN their WAY unless he could be convinced otherwise.
His lip was bleeding and the world snapped and spun at the corners of his vision with fireworks, he spat blood to the earth and flashed a wild eyed smile, cold and calculating. "Take what hurts them... and protect it at the same time...get the BIRD!" He snapped. Let them try and defend -that-.

Spica was not able to do a last attack at all, she was expecting it actually. Just before she fainted she was able to see the senshi of wine attacked Painite.
Take that she thought with a smile.
She looked at the senshi boy one last time before collapsing.
"I hope to meet you again" she said, smiled and then disappear from Elysion.
When she wake up she was badly hurt at home.

Orion followed his teammate across the battlefield without hesitation. Protecting his team he could do without a second thought and so without any real orders that's what he fell back too.
Taking a stand near the small talking bird he searched for a target, his eyes landing on Uranophane. It was that jerk who nearly broke his hand. "YOU!" This time he didn't even bother with meteors, instead throwing himself at the Captain, attempting to punch her in the face. Like a boss.

There might have been no meteors, but Uranophane certainly felt like he had just been struck by one. Right at the moment her boot glanced against Quail, she heard an encroachingly familiar voice and was slammed by a sudden weight that sent her tumbling to the ground, her chitinous wings splintering in the process.
She picked herself back up with a growl: "You, indee -- aaaaugh!" -- and was sent stumbling backwards again by the force of the senshi's punch.
"YOU HEARD ZINKENITE!" she shouted, to any Negaversers in the area who would listen. "GET THAT ******** BIRD!" For now, she'd have to dodge and roll her way away from Orion before she could launch another assault.

Wolframite hated this place and just wanted it all to explode. First off, flying sucked! Screw the people who thought it was amazing. He flew. He was DONE with it! It ruined his eyesight and it just made him want to hurl.Good old ground was where he was staying. As for his weapon, he dismissed it again. He was going for simple attacks and was going to get close as he could, even if it made him uncomfortable, to attack. It seemed his luck on this field wasn't with him, and he was really hating himself right now on how poorly he was doing. If he had to grain himself, he'd have failed Nega Training 101 in a heartbeat. He needed to get his head in the game and his fist in a senshi's face.
It was then that Uranophane shouted to him and told him where to go. Well, at least he didn't ave to chase a senshi anymore, but he also knew that, so help him, if he made any more poor attempts again, he was going to have witnesses that could bring it up in the future. Great.
"Coming!" He called out, and made his way, ON FOOT, over to where they were.

Alcyone broke out into a wide smile to see her comrade beside her. While she might not spend as much time with Orion as she did with Atlas and even Merope from time to time, she was still grateful to have him apart of their team. Even if he did occasionally try to grope her from behind.
"Thanks! We need to keep him - " She paused and pointed to Quail's Eye with a spare hand. "As safe as we can. We can't let him fall or let them take over this field. IT IS OUR DUTY."

He flashed an appreciative grin at Uranophane and anyone else who was willing to help, they had started this fight so grossly outnumbered, and yet they had at least come far enough to hold their own.
He might go out with at best... a fizzle compared to those brave souls already fallen to the cause, whatever became of them...he suspected he'd know soon enough.

There was some sense in Uranophane's words. The Negaverse had not darkened their lands until the Senshi had arrived. If they had never come, led by their Princess and her goal to seek out a safe haven for them, would the Negaverse have -ever- found this place? Would the battle have ever started? Or would there have been peace for years to come?
But there wasn't nearly enough time to ponder over their words. Quail needed time, the chance to puzzle through things and come up with a strategy. Thinking quickly, in the spur of a battle, was not something he had ever been good at. It was showing now as he went from the strongest on the field to the one being pummeled into the earth.
Time was cut short as first Zink's punch, and then Uranophane's kick nailed him. There was a loud SNAP as some bone in the boy's body broke. Pain shot though his side and still he had no time to stop and think. Barely any time to cry out in pain. Alcyone came in, promising protection and then attacking one of those who had attacked him.
He was so very confused. They both promised protection, they both said they wanted it for the RIGHT reasons. WHO was right?!
Another punch came in, this one from Zinkenite again. The boy stumbled, barely keeping his feet behind the protective stance of his new guardians. He looked startled, perhaps down?...
And then he was screaming, a sound so foreign to the guardian who was usually so well thought out and controlled. All his pain, anger, the mixed emotions that had caused a storm inside came out in one loud cry and all around them the wind began to pick up. It was uncontrolled, primal, and the vast majority of it seemed to be focused on Zinkenite.
((Zink's the one getting slammed, ANYONE around is going to feel a vast shift in the wind. Have fun flying!))
