This was the only time Justin wanted to be wrong. He glared at the mechanical hedgehog, firing a bunch of icicles at him.

"Heh..." Espio-Metal outstretched his arms and legs, allowing the icicles to hit him. They smashed on impact.
"No way!"
"Woah!"
"That's cheap, Metal!"
"Yeah, no fair!"
"All of you stop being wimps. I can do that, and you act as if you've never seen it before in your life." Shadow said.
"Yeah, but you're on our side! Well, mostly."
"Ah, form completed." Metal-Espio smirked. "Until we meet again, Sayanora!" He vanished on the spot.

Justin hissed, stabbing an icicle into the wall. "Damn! Got away!" He whispered. He clearly needed to improve his powers. He only discovered them three days ago, so it was only natural that Metal was stronger right now.

Tails Doll exhaled in a way that was like a sigh. He floated down to the ground(still above it about five feet, of course), eyes still red.
The mutants walked over to him.
"Spill it, Doll. Why is Metal suddenly against you? What's his plan? And what does he keep copying our data for?"
Doll's eyes returned to normal. "You are even dimmer then I thought...."

Justin walked up to Doll. "What do you mean? Does he want to take over the world, or something?" He asked.

"Start at the beginning." Shadow said, "After you repaired him."
"Metal was still his loyal self for a little while, although I could tell he was angry at me for lazering him. Then he started muttering to himself about world domination, and obliterating all beings, then rebuilding an empire of his own from the ashes."
"In other words, what we were told Espio was doing."
"The unlucky fool was captured by Metal. Somehow, perhaps from someone he copied data from, he'd learned to extract genes, and used them to create copies. I stayed out of it, deciding to wait and see what would happen. I realize now I should have acted....Metal has exceeded even my own power, and once he transforms...." Tails Doll's voice trailed off. His eyes looked around the room.
"We're doomed." Sonic finished for him.

The air around Justin right now could freeze his own blood. "Is there any way to stop him!?" He asked Doll. Things were looking hopeless, but he and the others couldn't give up.

"Possibly. But we have two days until his fleet is unleashed onto the world." Tails Doll said.
"Hey, is this a zipper on your back?" Sonic reached up for it.
"Don't even think about it. Last idiot who saw inside me died of fright." Tails Dolls said, looking over his shoulder.
Sonic whistled innocently, eyeballs gazng upward.
"He tends to put his hands in places they don't belong." Shadow said, walking past them and giving Sonic a shove.
"Come off it, will you?!" Sonic rubbed his shoulder. "And that hurt, I'll have you know!"
"It was supposed to, dumbass."
"Really, you're both even more immature then I am, and I'm eight." Tails shook his head.

Justin shook his head too. "Doll, just HOW do we stop him? You put him back together. YOU should know!" He told him

Tails Doll did not reply for a second. He just stared into space, expressionless, deep in thought...."His circuit panel. We can deacivate him. We'd have to paralyze him long enough to do it, however."
Rouge yawned. "Now that we have a general idea of what to do, can we get some sleep?"
Doll nodded. "You will require it. Metal takes a very long time to transform. He will not be going anywhere anytime soon."

Tails Doll nodded. "Meet me the day after tomorrow, at noon, in the city of Kendran. That is where the air fleet takes off. Do not be late." He evaporated, blowing away in the wind.
"Dang, I wish I could do that." Sonic mumbled. "Well, guess we should get going now." He turned and sped out like a bullet.

Justin nodded, walking out after Sonic. He thought about how this fight with Metal would go down. Justin would have to improve his powers greatly if Metal's transformation was so incredibly powerful.

Shadow had totally vanished.
"How does he DO that?!" Rouge crossed her arms.
"Probably got it from his Black Arm genetics." Knuckles said, shrugging, "They tended to appear and disappear too."
"Justin, what do we do with your suit now that you have these ice powers?" Tails asked, running to catch up with him.

Justin shrugged. "Let's keep it, just in case. I might need it if my powers aren't enough. Plus, I like flying with that thing." He told Tails.
