Aludra Yvette... "I think a Unicorns blood has healing properties, but dangerous ones. I read it can save you even if your an inch from death but its a sin to slay something so pure for your own gain." Aludra fiddled with her wand as she recited the text from a book she had read. ...7th Year Slytherin

Kalle laughed lightly. 'Perhaps I should have said 'The most well-known convenience' or 'The main convenience'. Though I know the horn of a unicorn is useful in potions, I did not mention it because to use the horn of a unicorn, the unicorn must be slain. Their horn is their life source, and they cannot live with an impartial or missing one. Of course, unicorn horns are almost always only harvested off already dead unicorns, but if there ever is an alternative ingredient to a potion, I will use it,' Kalle said. She had suspected somebody would suggest other uses for unicorns, but she had hoped she could avoid answering questions about the darkness that surrounded the use of unicorn parts. She sighed. They would find out somehow, she might as well tell them everything they need to know about the creature. 'And although unicorn hair can be used as bandaging because of its strength, it does not possess healing properties. Students,' she said, lowering her voice, 'I suppose I should be straight with you on this topic. The death of something so pure as a unicorn is so great a sin that you would be cursed for life,' Kalle said, her voice growing slowly louder. She was appalled someone would suggest such a crime against nature, but at least with the students finding out in class she would be able to advise them against doing such a terrible thing.

Gryffindor Prefect Sparrow----Gryffindor ----3rdyear Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain And Seeker Sparrow quickly wrote down some notes on Unicorns. She wondered how someone could even slay something so beautiful, and could only image the sin it put upon a person. Sparrow wondered about this magnificent creature and continued to listen intently to Professor Kalle.

'The kind of curse that will kill you,' Kalle whispered. She shook her head. 'Now, does anyone know what a unicorn's diet consists of?'

Adaleide WilliamsDon't mess with me. — Slytherin ; Sixth Year Adaleide pursed her lips. She wasn't even close to satisfied with that answer. "They eat grass and mudbloods." she said loudly.

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; Second Year With disdain, Antoinette looked at the Ravenclaw who had just spoken to her. "I'm not part-Veela." She said, curling her lip. "I'm a pure-blooded witch. Besides," she added, scoffing and tossing her hair. "I don't need to be part creature to be this beautiful." Satisfied, she turned her attention to the teacher.
Antoinette heard a fellow Slytherin's response to the Professor's question and fell into a fit of giggles.

Heart Rainy Seabrooke | Second Year Ravenclaw
Heart raises her hand. "I'm not sure, but either it's food a normal horse would eat, grass, hay, oats, et cetera...or I've heard the solar power from the sun?" She peers at the Slytherins.

She wondered what the true diet was.

'Five points from Adaleide of Slytherin for such a vile and unnecessary remark. Aludra, watch your tongue or the same fate will fall upon you. Those are all excellent guesses, and mostly correct. Like a regular horse, they eat grass or hay, but the favourite food of the unicorn is actually pomegranates,' Kalle said with a smile. She found it an odd choice of the unicorn, but thought it fit well anyhow. Kalle saw that a connection seemed present between unicorns, young girls and pomegranates, though she was not sure how exactly or why. 'Where can unicorns be found?'

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; Second Year When Aludra took a shot at the Slytherin who had just made the joke, Antoinette immediately stopped laughing and followed suit. Glowering and curling her lip, she fired.
"Yeah!" is all she managed. But she said it with ample contempt, which she found to be enough...right?
