Artemis smiled, and was about to think something when she heard something. She rose from the ground slowly. Her ear twitched and her face fell. Her nose wiggled as she sniffed the air. Her eyes widened. 'No..no..no!' She thought to herself. 'It's Father's guards. I was supposed to be with him by 4 and it's not 6. We HAVE to get out of here. I hate the fact that no one will allow you on Mount Olympus, but they welcome Red with open arms.' She said and cursed herself. She took off like a bullet from a gun and thought to James 'Don't just lay there, you'll get killed!'

Artemis ran like she never had before, running deeper and deeper into the forest. By now the tracker dogs had caught her sent, and James' along with it. She was out of the forest within a few minutes. She tore down the city streets not caring about what people thought. She looked behind her but didn't see James. She cursed herself and ran back. When she found him she urged him to go as fast as he could and was gone again in a blur of white and silver.

'It's fine,' She said and took a sharp turn and ran down a hill side and tripped about half way down and tumbled the rest of the way. When she got up from the tumbled she tried to put weight on her front left paw and winced in pain.

'Yeah, thanks,' She thought and told himof a forest with a cristal clear lake in the center that they could live in and not be disturbed.

Artemis smiled but said, 'No, but thank you. I used to come here as a little girl when I was angry, or needed some alone time and to do my home work. There are all sorts of wild berries that grow, that we can eat, along with some roots and stuff.' She said, and drank some water from the lake. 'I will be back in a minute,' She said and went to the forest out of sight. Just as she thought, she had a change of cloths there. She changed back to her human self and picked up the leaf wrapped package and changed. Artemis smiled some and sat at the waters edge and put her feet in.

"I don't know," Artemis said and heard a twig break and placed her pointer finger to her lips as a sign to be quiet. As quietly as she could and walked over the the tree line and saw a doe. (a dear a female dear, ray, a poket full of sun!..or whatever xD sorry, I had to) Her eyes widened and a smile spread across her face. The doe looked up and tilted it's had some and started walking over to Artemis, who in turn, slowly, so she didn't startle it, walked toward the doe. She extended her hand and placed it on the doe's neck a lightly stroked it. Artemis saw a blueberry bush a few feet away. She told the deer to stay were it was and she went a grabbed a handful. She then went back to the dear and used the blueberries as bait. When they finally got back to the water she sat down and made a small pile of the berries by the waters edge. The dear laid down and munch on the berries wail Artemis stroked her back.
