So they were splitting up after all, not group training. It looked like this would be round two, though from what Cruxis knew of clones they took a fair deal of focus; as anything that shook you up or surprised you could break that crucial concentration, and thus let the clone slip away. The good news in this was that the clones might keep Notwen's power divided, and thus keep Cruxis at an even match. The bad news was that it seemed Takeshi and Rissa were getting the clones, so a good crack under the jaw would not simply end his training session; since he had the real Notwen. At first Cruxis wanted to respond to Notwen's question with something along the lines of 'I thought we were going to be training in tracking, not inquiring about my critical weaknesses', but he held his tongue, and instead decided to give an answer that suited the situation well enough, and would hopefully satisfy Notwen. The further downtime out of combat would also help to place a few finishing touches on his preparations. "In all honesty, I am fairly unaware of my own preferences and uses of the chakra points; however, I do know their governings and blocks. Muladhara governs stability and a sense of security; it also governs survival instincts; and houses its greatest weakness in fear; which acts as a block to channeling chakra... Swadhisthana governs sexuality, and pleasure as a whole; however it can be blocked by guilt. Similarly, Manipura's focal points are personal power, opinion-formation, introversion; and hold blocks in anxiety, as well as shame.... My mother always explained the difference between guilt and same in that guilt is a painful feeling of regret and responsibility for one's actions, while shame is a painful feeling about oneself as a person... I suppose that definitely of shame would almost seem to add Pride as another strength of Manipura." thinking for a moment, Cruxis continued. It was easy enough to recall names, but recalling their purposes were somewhat more difficult; "Next would be Anahata, the heart chakra; as its name implies its greatest strength is in love, as corny as that might sound, and it also embraces compassion. Its greatest block is grief. Lingering upon losses can cause rifts and fluxes in chakra flows; and while some might be able to draw on this as a strength, I once read of a woman who could only channel chakra when she was in a state of rage because of a grief block... She had to think of her dead fiance, and upon seeing the enemy army he had died fighting against, she supposedly ravaged the landscape, and tore her own body to cinders by the flux her rage generated.... That's frankly quite terrifying, don't you think?"The story had been around for ages, perhaps as old as the tale of Caer Berwyn, which had been a stronghold that fell in the early ages, near the rise of the great Jūbi itself. Anhata's strength and weakness were ironic in their cycle; hatred bred hatred, and no wound could ever be cured with anger. The truth of the matter was only by overcoming hatred and embracing love could that cycle of grief be broken. Compassion and forgiveness, two of the strongest forces of peace, both lay within this chakra. "Vishuddha is the fifth, and focuses on spiritual growth through expression; particularly the arts. It also governs independence, and truth; and thus can be blocked by lies; be they lies told to others or lies we tell ourselves." He would not admit this aloud; hiding cautiously behind his layered walls; but Cruxis knew this was his block. He hid behind facades, layering a mask over his true self, and put out countless illusions to hide his weaknesses. In truth, he did not want people seeing himself; he rather liked who he showed off to the world... "The sixth is Ajna; which is unique in that it has the most alternate names... Some call it the Brow Chakra, others the Third-Eye, and older scrolls also notated it as the Light Chakra. This one's abit obvious given its names; it deals with clarity and insight; yes this can be blocked by illusion, not in the physical sense mind you, but the illusion of perceptions, what we ourselves have been taught to believe about the world. Which segueways well into the seventh, Sahasrara. I have yet to meet someone who can fully channel past here to its full potential, and many believe it is the key to the Dead Demon Consuming Seal, due to the fact that it is generally considered to be the chakra of pure consciousness, within which there is neither object nor subject; a way to ascend ones consciousness to peer beyond the veil to commune with spirits, that is to say. Documents I've read state that in order to access its full potential, one must be willing to completely forsake their identity, to become one with the ever-weaving wheel that spins our fates, and forget what binds us to the earth. Whatever this means, I believe that there are some things best left unexplored. It may very well be a power that costs your very ability to interact with the world, and to look forever down on mortals knowing you can no longer aid those you care about..."Two minutes more, that's all he needed... Thinking of the first story that came to mind, Cruxis began to recite it, almost in a half daze, most of his focus set to his progress; and yet every word hung crisply in the air, as if lingering on a chilling winds of the void that he had made his body in order to draw in power; There once was a young lad, of Hyuuga descent, with slim features and porcelain skin. He was born in the ice-fields, far above the lands of Hidden Rock, in a good home to a mother and father who raised the boy with love. The father trained the boy to fight, and the mother taught him to sing. When the small boy grew up to be a strong man, he was summoned into battle. Even though he was taught to fight; he did not wish to go into combat. He wanted to play his harp and sing, not quarrel. A few years passed, and he became very wise and cunning in war, still taking the time to play his harp and sing of the triumphs and losses of his past skirmishes. A bounty was soon posted for a rare snow dragon. Whoever could defeat the dragon would receive one thousand gold pieces He thought about how much good one thousand gold would do for his parents, and his home village. Acting with his heart, and not his wits, he traveled up to the stormy mountain top where the dragon was said to live. He had stumbled upon the dragon’s nest by mere accident, and the beast awoke with an icy glare. The warrior could see why it was called the snow dragon. Its scales were of a snowy white, but stained with the blood of past competitors who had attempted to slay the icy creature. It breathed ice, and flew with the chilling breezes of the mountain air. The warrior was brave, and thought of what gave him strength in any battle, his love for home. The monster curled its talons at the sight of the warrior. The soldier rushed the great brute, and pierced his mighty sword through the fiend’s head. He had slain the snow dragon, he had won the gold for his family, but something was wrong. The bitter truth hit the warrior hard, it was getting cold, deathly cold. The blizzard he had so ignorantly ignored on his way up the mountain had gotten worse and worse by the second. The fury of the northern storm was relentless, and the warrior knew he could not possibly make it down the mountain before he froze to death. He took a seat on a rock nearby, and took his harp out. His last sang echoed down the mountainside to the village below as he told his final tale; the epic of the snow bard...Five seconds, Cruxis knew what to say to hide his stalling; "It's an interesting story... what can happen if you focus too closely on a goal and lose sight of your surroundings because of it... Now then, I believe you've pulled me aside here so that I can practice, and hone, my tracking techniques, I believe you'll find I've been practicing for the past five minutes.", and with that Cruxis would shimmer for a moment, revealing him to be a mirror clone. Cruxis himself had made the switch during his explanations of the Chakra points he understood and knew; a simple series of half-seals made while gesturing during his explanation; combining a mirror clone to overshadow his own movements and then becoming invisible by bending the light away from himself via refraction, he had become invisible in order to lay two wards in the area; the first of which was a simple prank technique, the modified hotseat technique which Cruxis called Hotfoot activating under Notwen's feet while the second summoned a steel greataxe in Cruxis's hands, which he gripped firmly and launched himself at Notwen with; swinging wildly towards Notwen as he appeared suddenly in front of him, Quote: Line Count: Before: 1068 + This Post: 85 [+72 Int] = New Count: 1225

Once Rissa had arrived, Takeshi could hear Notwen's voice above them. Looking up he saw both the Chuunin and the white haired medic in a tree close to the opening they had all came into. Takeshi stood silent as he watched the Uchiha create green flames at the end of his arms and eventually solidify them in order to make what was normally a dangerous height to fall from not so dangerous any more. This just showed to Takeshi Notwen's understanding and manipulation of the fire element. Thinking to himself, he knew that he would need to keep any sparring they did to close quarter combat since he still remembered feeling like a lobster the last time they sparred. Keeping that as a mental note in the back of his mind, Takeshi listened to the mixed haired chuunin as he explained what was going to be happening in the mind scape he had created for them. It seemed that the medics were going to be training together with a clone of Notwen, and Cruxis would be with the real Notwen. This left him with a clone to train with himself. This was disappointing but logical to him. From his limited knowledge of how chakra was used, it took focus to control them. So if Takeshi landed a good strike on the real Notwen, he could effectively disrupt the focus and cause the clones to vanish. While he was reveling in mind about the logical choice that was made, he could hear a voice from his right calling to him. Looking over it seemed that the chuunin's clone was already waiting on him. Takeshi nodded and turning to the others did a minor salute showing that he'd see them in a bit.
It didn't take long for him to reach the clone that was already there waiting for him. Takeshi couldn't help but lightly laugh at the location that was chosen to their training. There was a lake near them, which instantly brought up their interrupted training in which Notwen tried to boil him alive like a lobster. Shaking his head slightly he looked over to the clone and couldn't help but say "Making up for being interrupted last time?" He was sure that Notwen would get what he was meaning, but just incase he wasn't, he pointed to the lake which should jog his memory of their last sparring match. It was shortly after though he heard the clone speak to him about being ready. Takeshi grinned and nodded "I'm always ready" With that, Takeshi clenched his fists into their ab-normal shape and used all of his muscles to bolt to the clone as fast as he could. He was going faster this time then their first sparring match, this much he knew so he wondered if the clone would have as good of reflexes as the real chuunin. Without giving the imitation a second to think, Takeshi started to unleash a combo he had been practicing; Three consecutive closed fist strikes to the torso, one open clawed strike across the clones chest and a very quick turning switch kick aimed for the head to throw him off balance.

Kelvin was within the confines of the hidden clouds library, Archives on all other countries, villages specified clans and there special abilities. Well at least what they have gathered thus far “Information does go a long way.” Kelvin took a seat placing his hands on the wooden desk and with a silent sigh searched his memories. “I was found on a main road into Konoha so either I was heading into or out of Konoha, I was found by my old man wrapped in a single layer of light green cloth with no insignias indicating I was from any country.” Kelvin closed his eyes trying to concentrate “Red eyes, Black Iris with their own insignias, Three little dots of some kind..No, there was something different about their shape.”He struggled to recall his dream but it seemed to fade with each passing second as if something was trying to prevent him from remembering. Kelvin at least had enough to start searching for these mysterious eyes. Kelvin stood up as he walked towards an aged ninja most likely a retirement position, though he did not seem feeble in any way and could probably hold his own against any formidable ninja that tried to steal information from them assuming they could get through the army of ninja patrolling the area. Kelvin gave him a greeting nod before he spoke “Find me all the Dojutsu based clans in the Leaf village anything you can find for me would be appreciated” Soon he would know just what exactly it is his dreams are trying to tell him. Kelvin was leaning against the wall the faint lights gave the room an eerie feeling if taken the wrong way but to him if gave a calm, distinct feeling a comfortable place to relax and delve into ones memories. Finally, the old man appeared after some time and Kelvin watched him set down a couple of scrolls “Not many Dojutsu from the leaf village, Well this is what we know at least” Kelvin nodded as he took the scrolls and walked back to his little desk. He grasped one scroll gently in his hand and used his free hand to open it reading the contents as fast as he possibly could. It had information about a dojutsu but the detailed information on this scroll explained the eyes as plain white “Nope.” He reached for the second scroll and opened it and there it was the three leaf like patterns confirming his suspicion. There was quite a bit of information on this Dojutsu, a list of known users as well. Kelvin smiled to himself as he read on.

Rissa looked up as Notwen called out a jutsu. Blinking, she moved back a few steps to give them room. It was a fast way to get down that was for sure, and soon enough, both Notwen and Nagamichi had joined them on the ground. Rissa had to quell her excitement, and place it else where so she could pay attention to Notwen. So... They would be pairing off instead of group training? That helped calm Rissa down a bit. She was wondering what in the world she could have possibly done if it was all of them. After all, she was still a novice in most things, and she didn't think she would have been able to keep up. Rissa smiled at Nagamichi, waving at the other two, before walking off with him and the clone. As they moved farther into the forest, Nagamichi seemed to get a bit... nervous. “ Don't worry, Everything will be fine~ I'll watch your back, and you watch mine, okay?” Her own reassuring smile was more than convincing, her ignorance of the situation allowing her to remain calm for the time being. In this case, It seemed ignorance would be a blessing for her. Quote: Lines 672 + 11 + 128(int) = 831 Lines

Kelvin sighed softly as he rubbed his head walking down the streets of the cloud village, Kelvin had finished reading the scroll containing the information of the eyes he met in his dreams "The Uchiha bloodline Dojutsu or the Sharingan the copy eye, Also said to predict or imitate his enemies movements down to the letter" Kelvin thought it out as he tried to remember why the eyes were in his dream. The more he thought about it his irritation crawling up on him "Damn it, I don't understand" Kelvin was contemplating heading to the leaf village himself but seeking out the current kage, requesting an audience then permission could be a hassle "I should just leave.." It felt like a bad idea, If something happened to him no one would be out looking for him anytime soon and now a days you really could not be careful, Being a low ranked Genin would not help his situation if he was caught facing enemy shinobi as well. In the end he would have no choice but to request permission. Kelvin made it back to his little apartment jiggling the key a bit as he tried to fit it into the keyhole with a smooth click he turned the knob and opened his door locking it behind him before he threw himself on his bed. He stared at his ceiling as the image of the sharingan replayed in his mind over and over like a film caught on replay he clenched his first. He did not know why but his emotions boiled the more he thought about a mixture of confusion, anger and determination to find his connection to these eyes. Kelvin was still looking at the wall and his little critters began to wander around the room, He could feel them crawling out of his skin and onto the bed exploring his little apartment, Within minutes there was a good hundred count on every area of his apartment except the kitchen as if they knew by instinct he would not want them no where near his kitchen. One of them casually crawled onto his cheek and made it to his eye lid staring down on him, Kevin frowned as he felt his little friend was trying to tell him something " You think I should just forget about it? Yea, Me either I want to find out as well...Maybe in time. When I am stronger I will head to the leaf village." he said with a slight nod but the little chakra feeder had already left his eye lid and was running around his pillow. Kelvin finally stood up off his bed as his critters began to swarm around him and disappear within his cloths in a matter of seconds he stretched for a second as he walked to his single window and opened it staring out as far as he could into the horizon " I definitely need to get stronger, Faster" He clenched his fist. Tomorrow he would start his training.

Kelvin had fallen into a blissful sleep until he was gently woken, He opened his eyes and frowned silently he slowly sat up as he pat his lower back pain slowly shot up to greet but he muscled the pain away. He took in a deep breath “Now I am losing sleep trying to figure out what the hell these recent dreams I have been having.” Kelvin said to him as he recalled those eyes gleaming in the darkness like a dark being was waiting to strike at him any day now, it made chills run down his spine as he wondered if had been a target to these dojutsu users when he was a child. Maybe it had something to do with his abilities to harvest living bugs within him. Kelvin did not know and the more he thought about it, Things started to make less and less sense “I am going around in circles, You fool why must you be so impatient and have answers at this very second!?” His father often scolded him for such hot headedness but now he knew he would have to seek his father out and ask him specific questions about where and how exactly he found him all those years ago. Assuming his old men remembered he was quite a drinker but did not recall his memory ever fading how ever actually he might be even sharper with drinks in him. Kelvin chuckled at the thought of his drunken father and shook his head [colord=red]“Crazy old man”Kelvin laid back down on the bed reposition his pillow comfortably on his head finally feeling like he had made some progress in deciding to seek out his father; He would have to gain permission first of course. Hopefully the kage will be lenient with his request this time around “But where exactly would my father be?” He would ask the young girl watching his father’s store while he is away, She must know of his whereabouts

Quote: I apologize to everyone who has been waiting on me to post. I became busy and lost the time to work on the post. I will try to get things done faster next time sad As far as Cruxis was concerned it appeared that he didn't know which of his chakras were open and not, but he knew what each one governed and went off on a lengthy detailed explanation from root to crown. Notwen nodded as the genin bard made several correct points, but at the same time began to disbelieve that with all the knowledge of the pros and cons of the chakras Cruxis did not know which of his own were open or closed. When the boy got to the back-story behind an incident using the Heart Chakra it reminded him of a tale his grandfathers told him about Jikkan Bagoukken, the Sourajjo of Fire. An assassin had snuck into his home while he was away and killed his wife. When he had returned and found his wife slain he was grieved and angered tremendously. Immediately Jikkan set off to hunt down his wife's murderer, and it was fabled that his wrath consumed his heart to the point that black flames were left behind in his wake. These flames did not burn what they touched, but they did absorb whatever amount of life the organism had to fuel itself. Eventually the assassin approached Jikkan and offered his life to stop the Sourajjo in his destructive quest for revenge. Jikkan was moved that the assassin had the courage and selflessness to offer his life for something bigger than himself, since at that time a good part of a whole continent was ablaze in the black flames. Jikkan forgave the assassin, who repented of his transgression vowing to never kill another living being for as long as he lived, and began to walk back the same way he had come. This time his steps left behind white flames, which restored life. " This is all pretty interesting Cruxis." said the dark-skinned Uchiha after the genin had finished his explanation on chakras. " You seem to know a lot about ancient history and the forces at work within our bodies." At this point Notwen began to focus on his Crown Chakra and expand the dome so that it covered a radius of twenty feet in all directions. He wouldn't be able to track any movements the boy made due to having to direct the other clones, but he would be able to sense Cruxis' intentions. That alone would be enough to counter whatever he may or may not have been planning. After the genin began to tell a somewhat unrelated story about a Hyuuga warrior that was also a musician, Notwen began to percieve that this was a distraction. Cruxis intended to attack him, but the Chuunin didn't know when or how. Notwen took this chance to put his hands behind his back and summon up his Exe Kaliba at an angle that would be impossible for Cruxis to see it. At the same time Notwen used his firebending ability to return the emerald wall to its flaming state from the inside out. That way he'd be able to use them to defend and attack when the time came. " Indeed." agreed the Uchiha when Cruxis said the story was interesting. After another short dialogue the genin made his move. His image shimmered in the way glass would and at once the Chuunin realized that wasn't the real Cruxis. Notwen jumped backwards toward the apparently still solid emerald wall, retaining as much of his current stance as possible. When he landed, Notwen felt that the sand beneath his feet was unnaturaly hot. If it hadn't been for his upbringing and training in Wind Country, the Uchiha would have lost his balance trying to keep away from the hot sand. Instead he landed in it and activated his Heat Control technique, which allowed him to absorb the heat from his feet and release it every time he exhaled. At that moment Cruxis appeared in front of him swinging a huge axe with almost no problem. He dodged the first swing by leaping the remaining distance to the emerald wall and stabbing through it with the Exe Kaliba. The chrome blade then became shrouded in the emerald flames from within. Notwen then proceeded to parry the second swing with the flame-wrapped blade. " But i wonder how much of a good tracker you are if you failed to notice what was going on within the wall i created. Maybe you should heed the moral of your own tale." Notwen was now grinning at Cruxis. He pushed the boy away as hard as he could with the blazing sword before tossing it up and weaving a short set of seals. " Blue Hell's Descent." he said as he caught the sword neatly by the handle. Above, an illusion of swirling black clouds began to materialize. After a few moments it began to rain blue fireballs. " It's about to get pretty toasy in here. I suggest getting under cover, not that it would help anyway." * * * Takeshi appeared to have noticed the treat Notwen had prepared for him because he laughed and brouught up their interrupted training session. The clone Chuunin smiled. " Yup. Sadly i won't be able to use that technique that almost cooked you the last time. My sword was stolen by the same b*****d who took my eye." After they had let each other know they were ready Takeshi took the initiative. He bolted at the Notwen clone at a fast pace. As he approached, the dark-skinned man's left eye iris became solid blue with red tomoe circling the reddened pupil while his third eye underwent a similar transformation except that the iris was purple. With his sharingan active Notwen could now trace and copy the combat specialist's moves perfectly. Even though he was a clone, it was still connected to the original via the web of intrigue. These moves are similar to the ones he used last time... thought the clone, mirroring the first swipes so that they cancelled out and dodging the switch kick. " The same tricks won't work on me a second time, Takeshi!" declared the clone with a shout, activating his Suzume Koumyaku. " Drifting Blitz!" The clone used the Koumyaku to shoulder tackle Takeshi while his leg was still in the air. As the boy came down the clone drifted using the thrust provided by the flames so he was underneath his target. Again he rocketed upward, this time with a knee strike intended for his back. Wether it connected with it or not, the clone rocketed away and came back with a reinforced elbow strike. * * * When the clone had arrived to the destination he was leading Nagamichi and Rissa he ordered them to halt by raising his arm. " Alright guys. This will be your training." " The Black Garden?" asked Nagamichi, an uneasy expression on his face. The clone nodded. " This area of my mind contains a backup of my memories and valuable information i've gathered over the years. That information lies at the center of the Black Garden, which is what lies before your eyes. All the vegetation before them was devoid of any color other than black and gave off an air of menace. It is two miles thick and shaped like a doughnut. The center of the Garden is a safe zone, and it is your task to get there and back a total of ten times. The catch is that the safe zone is circle twenty feet in diameter, so if you end up deviating from the path too much you may end up in big trouble." The Notwen clone turned to face the white-haired medic. " Nagamichi, i'll let you explain the rest to her." Nagamich nodded and turned to face Rissa. " It works like a two-way trap. The garden itself has an asortment of plants that are supposed to keep us out of the safe zone. If we actually make it, getting out will be even harder since the Garden will assume we took what it was meant to protectchances are that we might get hurt getting there and coming back, so when we get to the safe zone we have to heal one another. There will be dangers from both poison and physical attack. Are you ready?" He waited about three minutes before approaching the fringe of the Black Garden. " Stay close to me no matter what, Rissa. If we lose our way we risk being knocked out by the Garden itself." Once Rissa had taken her place next to him, the medic swordsman dashed off at a slow pace so that the brunette wouldn't have too many problems keeping up and would be able to assist her if the need arose. Drawing his sword, Nagamichi prepared for the danger he was sure would begin to befall them. Almost immediately a spiked vine shot out of the undergrowth to his left. A quick slash from Hagia du Albae severed the plant. A loud, hissing screech erupted from somewhere closeby, but out of the way. Nagamichi knew the sound very well, and became more alert. " Rissa, it'd be a lot better if we travel side by side. There are things already trying to get us, and it'll get tougher before we reach the end."

Cruxis's mental wards alerted him when Notwen attempted to establish an empathic link within the area; and so he focused fully towards his void; allowing only what he wanted to slip through. That Notwen felt an attack coming on was only through Cruxis's focus on maintaining a false sense of self; and choosing the ward he thought best, he prepared himself as the Cruxis with an axe continually lashed forward ignoring counters; drawing the full focus of Notwen's offensive, before in the middle of his Blue Hell's Descent, a bubble of sand would splinter into glass shards behind Notwen, lashing into his back as Cruxis's 'The Axe Shall Fall' diversion technique faded away, and twenty five feet away from the shattered illusion, Sorain Orasakai would step forth, his mouth forming a crooked smile and his eyes narrowing as he spoke to Notwen, "I believe the term is... Sneak Attack, b***h." his voice echoed with an icy chill, his cooked smile baring his canines for a brief moment before he spoke again; "If a single false gennin could be used, why not use two? Double layer an illusion, and the fool believes he is safe once the first has been seen through. Your student never made it here, I intercepted the connection when you pulled everyone in; truly foolish to simply draw your visual targets within your mind as you did. Overshadowing the tiniest portion of a mind allows you to intercept a link thrown towards it; or did you truly think I would simply leave you missing an eye?" from his vest, Rizu held out a glass bottle of yellow bile, a single Sharingan, floating within the sickly liquid, fragments of crystallized bile clinging to its surface; "An invention we discovered, anti-rejection bile; which destroys blood magnetism within an organ... That is to say, your eye will not attempt to reject me once I implant it within myself, it will take on my blood magnetism and be mine. I will be able to use it as easily as if I'd been born with it in my skull. I suppose that means I really CAN call myself Rizu Uchiha if I so wish to, can't I?"Donning his Iron Claw Gloves, Sorain's neck cricked before he vanished in a flash, reappearing behind Notwen and launching into what appeared to be his Void Style, aiming towards the pressure point at Notwen's shoulder; the same technique that sealed Notwen's fire style only yesterday. From his own hidden point, Cruxis kept cloaked within his refraction style, projecting emotions of mocking and arrogance through his illusory ward; Envy. A powerful memory could be pulled from a subject and used against them, and as they were within Notwen's mind, the ward was all the more powerful; as memories were real within a mindscape. The trick was the memory could be given basic commands from Cruxis, though its dialogue was derived mostly from the memory itself; a small weakness in the technique, anything the memory's owner did not know; new information the real person could have learned or developed would be omitted; a recent memory would always be more accurate than an old memory; though recent memories did tend to be stronger, and thus were more often chosen by the wards; Cruxis himself did not know who it was, but decided that the sudden appearance could be explained by commanding the ward to say he had intercepted the mental link by overshadowing Cruxis seemed the best. Given the sinister attitude, Cruxis had made a good choice in this it seemed, keeping his projections from himself a void, he continued to keep a strong focus on his ward, and as the ward, illusory Sorain Orosakai, flashed into an attack, Cruxis emitted a powerful surge of a single word as the ward's intention: 'Kill...'Quote: Line Count: Before: 1225 + This Post: 37 [+126 Int] = New Count: 1388

Of course Takeshi knew never to go into combat expecting to win easily. This is why he'd already coated his body with a thick bone membrane that was as strong as most steel objects. He was actually quiet amazed how Notwen's clone was able to keep up to his speed, but then he realized it when it was too late. Notwen's clone was using it's sharingan to counter his moves identically and then turned it into a counter. Takeshi was pushed off balance by the shoulder check so he was falling backwards. Unfortunately with the extra speed that Notwen was gaining from using his Koumyaku he couldn't react fast enough to force himself out of the way. Notwen's knee strike to Takeshi's back landed and he felt it, but barely. He knew though that Notwen would probably regret it later once the impact had a chance to fully sink into his nerves. Kneeing Takeshi was like knee striking a steel pillar with his bone membrane distributed all across his body already. Luckily Takeshi noticed the elbow strike coming in to him, and used his hands to push himself out of the way as it came close to landing on its mark. Rolling away from Notwen, Takeshi used that momentum to stand himself up and faced Notwen again. Slightly dusting himself off, he looked into the Chuunin's now activated eyes. The left was the only eye he could see though since the hair of the chuunin was covering the third slightly. Takeshi quickly went over the previous battle against Notwen to see what he'd used. Unfortunately he'd apparently gotten a good enough look at his fighting style with his bloodline to be able to react quickly enough against anything he threw at him. Takeshi sighed slightly as he knew what he needed to do, even though he was reluctant. "Just the first part... hopefully that will be all that's needed" he thought to himself as he looked over to Notwen who should be feeling the effects of striking his bone membrane ability by now. Taking a deep breath in, Takeshi focused his energy into his core, and started to mold it into chest, and eventually forced the concentrated energy into his heart and then to his mind. This was always the slowest part of his multiple staged technique, but it was also the safest. Looking over to Notwen, Takeshi grinned and rolled his neck to stretch it only slightly. After the quick roll, Takeshi quickly snapped himself into a new stance, one that he knew Notwen wouldn't have seen before since he wasn't wanting to use this against an ally. When Takeshi snapped into his new fighting style, it would give off a odd feeling across the landscape and make the ground feel like something larger then him had just stomped onto the ground. How far these effects would reach out he wasn't sure but it wasn't a concern to him anymore. Without so much of a warning, Takeshi rushed to Notwen even faster then before. He appeared in front of him surprisingly quickly and with a bone sword drawn none the less. Using strikes that were sharp, precise and masterful in technical skill, Takeshi slashed and thrust the blade at his team leader. After a series of attacked that made the shift eyes blur, Takeshi launched a surprise rising snap kick to hopefully send the chuunin up into the air. Whether it hit or not was besides the point since he was using the momentum to push himself into the air and start his second series of attacks. With bone sword in hand, the taijutsu specialist genin looked at Notwen where ever he was and the grin widened as he started to create more bone swords. Torquing his torso, Takeshi threw the blade so it would go end over end towards his sparring partner. It wouldn't end there though as he would create five more swords for that purpose, the last two to be thrown at the same time giving the chuunin a challenge to evade his slew of attacks. He finally landed on the ground with a solid thud as he looked over to his temporary opponent and waited to see his fate.

Rissa looked up at the rather imposing forest before them, and now she understood why Nagamichi had been so on edge. She was more than a little surprised that Notwen was having them train in such a dangerous place. The young kunoichi turned to both as they spoke of their task. Ten times... She and her comrade would have to traverse back and forth ten times. Nagamichi began explaining in more detail, and Rissa understood then why the two of them were paired off. This terrain would test both their healing techs, and their physical skills. She nodded in understanding, and moved, standing abreast with Nagamichi, before dashing after him. For once, her slim build seemed to be an advantage, weaving in and out of plants as she kept pace with Nagamichi. She was beginning to think it wasn't all that bad when they were attack by a vine. Before Rissa could do anything, Nagamichi had sliced the vine in two. “ Thanks...” She said, looking down at it, and jumping a little at the sudden noise as they moved on. When Nagamichi told her to stay beside him, she nodded listening to what he said without much fuss. Her fellow medic knew how to take care of them in this oh so dangerous place, and she didn't need to be killed off in a mind scape. 'This place seems more like a kill zone then anything... A good place for information storing..'

Notwen was quite surprised to feel several sharp objects embed themselves into his back as his genjutsu struck. He turned around and saw the bowl-shaped remains of what appeared to be a glass bubble. The Uchiha was in the middle of wondering how it got there without his detection when suddenly someone's voice could be heard coming from the direction he was orginally facing. Turning around, Notwen beheld the form of a man who closely resembled Sai Orasakai. It took a few seconds for the dark-skinned man to realize that this person was Sorain Orasakai, Sai's equally infamous twin brother, but what was he doing in his mindscape? Judging by what he was saying, Sorain had intercepted the web of intrigue and sneaked in when Notwen had brought everyone in. The web of intrigue was created in a way that would collapse if it was hindered in any way, so that was obviously inaccurate. However the statement about the missing eye caused the Uchiha's eyes to widen. From the vest Rizu had been wearing, Sorain pulled out a jar filled with a sickly yellow fluid, at the center of which floated Notwen's missing right eye. Notwen's eye narrowed as his own sapphire sharingan swirled into existence. " I will hunt you down and take back what is rightfully mine." he said, ignoring the man's uncharacteristically long dialogue. He was now focusing more on his awareness dome. Immediately he found an oddity within it; there was a set of intentions that originated from one section of the dome and terminated where Sorain stood. The moment Sorain moved was the moment his fate was sealed. The second he attempted the same technique from yesterday the dark-skinned Chuunin brought up the Exe Kaliba in an arc, severing the man's arm from the elbow. When the blade had reached the highest point in the arc, the green flames swirled around it and mixed with blue flames to create the same technique that Notwen had used to defeat during the Chuunin exams. " Die!! Chains of Limbo!!!" shouted the Uchiha as he called upon emerald fetters from the wall to hold the dismembered Sorain in place to prevent struggling or retaliation. Once he was secured, Notwen brought down the blazing sword with both hands. " Brisingr Kaliba!" The missing-nin's body was cleaved in half, and a streak of fire headed for the place where the intentions originated. " You talk too much." * * * The clone sparring with Takeshi felt a wave of pain radiate outward from the knee it had struck the Kaguya with. The clone decided to back off and assess the situation just as Takeshi himself rolled away from what could have been an attack. I should really consider wearing armor against this guy... it thought, nursing his knee and watching the combat specialist to see what he would do next. While Takeshi appeared to be concentrating, the clone summoned up its internal green fire to coat his fists, knees and elbows. The genin rolled his neck and immediately went into a stance the original had not seen before. What is he up to? wondered the clone, who braced himself against the jolt of what felt like the footstep of a giant. Again Takeshi rushed at the clone, but this time at a speed that was difficult for the sharingan to trace. With a bone sword in hand the combat specialist went to town, swinging the blade with a mastery that impressed the clone. No matter how much it tried to avoid the blades completely, the ersatz Notwen found himself getting sliced here and there. The wounds exposed the green flames in its interior, which quickly leaked out and scabbed over and eventually leaving the clone looking like a sparkly green-brown tiger. The clone was so preoccupied with dodging the attacks that he failed to notice the kick until he had felt it in his gut. The force knocked the air out of the clone's fake lungs and sent him flying into the air. It took some energy to regain control, but the ersatz Notwen finally stabilized himself with his fire streams. A whirring sound caught the clone's attention coming from his right. It put up its arm just in time, because if he hadn't the first bone sword would have struck his face. Even now the sword had pierced through his arm and almost touched his face. Now that the ersatz Notwen was aware of the direction the sword had come from and spotted the airborne Takeshi, it was possible for him to make a comeback. Tearing the bone blade out of his arm, which healed with a covering of solid emerald material, he proceeded to knock aside the next three incoming projectiles while at the same time attaching chakra strings to them. The clone dealt with the last two by throwing the bone sword he had used to deflect the others so that when the other one bounced away it would knock into the remaining one and alter its flight path. Now that he was free of any obstacles the clone launched the three bone swords back Takeshi, while at the same time using his Yoga Stream to make it difficult to dodge by ground due to the boiling mud that was being created. * * * The going was good for some time, then everything took a turn for the worst. A myriad of thorny black vines and tree branches with flowers at the ends homed in from every direction. The vines were more foucused on wrapping themselves around Rissa while the branches were drawing Nagamichi's attention away from what was going on. " Rissa!!" he cried, trying to reach out to grab her, but the tree branches redoubled their effort to attack him. If Rissa had been trying to fight back, the vines would sneakily creep up to the surface she was standing on and wrap around her ankle. She was pulled away into the undergrowth before the medic swordsman could do anything about it. The flowers at the tips of the branches bloomed, revealing four vampire-like fangs growing in the inner parts. " Vampire Orchis..." he said glowering. In order to assist the brunette with her issue Nagamichi would have to deal with his killer plant first. Rissa would have been dragged about half a mile if she didn't find a way to free herself. At that point she would come face to face with the source of the vines, a green female-looking creature that had several vines protruding from her shoulders in place of arms. The creature had blonde hair and wore a dress fashioned out of pink flower petals. " You are not wanted here little girl." said the creature in a surprisingly condescending human voice. " Leave."

Taking back what was rightfully his? How bloody high and mighty of the military's dog. Though Sorain lost an arm from the counterattack; when the chains would grab hold holdhim the blazing sword's finishing move would phase through his body, as Sorain used an after-image in order to take on the chains of limbo and draw Notwen's finishing sword attack. Attacking once more from behind, his remaining arm and its clawed iron gauntlet lunged forward as Notwen used his two-handed attack on the after-image, intending to drive the metal claws into Notwen's spine and paralyze him as Notwen was locked into the weight of swinging his finishing move on his after-image. From his hidden point, Cruxis began to note Notwen's sword style, which seemed to favor all out attacks; and in a sense he could understand just how Notwen had managed to lose an eye in the fight before. There was a certain recklessness to it; hack and slash per say. If countered, it was likely to leave openings, particularly given the amount of irreversible force behind his swings. Perhaps the Sharingan was meant to counter to some degree, as they did grant better perception, but with a missing eye, Notwen was in some degree of danger. There was also an interesting degree of wrath behind his attack style; the sight of his lost eye had certainly been a trigger; and for a brief moment Cruxis debated whether this emotion could be an ideal trigger for his Wrath ward; though switching wards at this point in the game would be suicide for the illusion. He would play it out, and see what happened, in terms of training his tracking; he had succeeded rather well - luring Notwen into attacking a fake, both wasting chakra and giving insight to Cruxis on how the chuunin would fight. Notwen was likely to hold back in training, that was Cruxis's guess at least, in order to prevent harming or killing students; when an opportunity to use full on lethal force arose, that was when one could truly gain insight on a man. Suddenly, a streak of fire whisked past him, but Cruxis neither moved nor made a sound; even through Cruxis kept his mind a void, apparently, the illusion's intention must have been feedbacking to its original source to some degree; and so Cruxis carefully tied off the weave of Chakra; which while it would sever his control over the illusion; it would remove feedback and attempted traces. Thankfully the void of his mind kept enough inaccuracy to judge by; though now he only could wait and see what happened, as his own control of the illusion was gone, and thus it would only act on information from its own knowledge and commands Cruxis had given. With an inability to think beyond that programming, Cruxis estimated the illusion would only last another exchange or two before Notwen defeated it. Deciding to play it safer, Cruxis edged away another thirty feet while Sorain Ora-false-kai aimed a clawed attack at Notwen's back, deciding to use the distraction to his advantage in order to move further away unnoticed. Looking up towards the cloned chuunin, Takeshi was still grinning. His adrenaline had started to kick in, and his love for the fight started to take over. Only reason why this happened was due to the fact that he could relive some of his memories of his passed family members unlike how his parents could. As of right now, he was remembering his first and second true sparring match when he had to go all out just to make the match end in a draw with his oldest brother. Looking in the ersatz Notwen, he watched as the three bone swords that he'd captured came flying back at him. Lifting his hands up he soon realized something, and that was there was a large mass of mud under his feet. This didn't bother him though as he placed his hands in the ground and forced out a good deal of chakra into the ground. Gripping inside the mud, he raised his arms and with his arms came a large wall of solid earth that had the mud slipping off of its surface. The bone swords dug deeply into the wall in front of Takeshi as he removed his hands from the wall. He only knew one thing that could cause a distraction for him. With that he quickly shot some hand seals in sequence and with a minor poof of smoke from behind the wall, six clones of Takeshi rushed towards Notwen. 2 from the left of the wall, tw from the right, and two from over top of the wall. They were all using the same fighting stance as Takeshi did before and also using his graveyard fighting style as they fought against the chuunin relentlessly. Meanwhile still behind the earth wall, Takeshi pulled his feet from the boiling mud and clenched his fists tightly. His arms slowly started to become covered by steel hard calcium carbonate. Once the bone got to his knuckles, Takeshi opened his fists for his graveyard talons to finish forming. He knew that more then likely the fake Notwen could probably handle his clones since he wasn't all that good with them just yet, but it gave him enough time. Slashing the earth wall in front of him, Takeshi launched himself though the wall and once close enough all the clones dissipated simultaneously. This is where Takeshi truely got heated with his clawed attacked against his chuunin sparring partner. His first attack was a rake for the eyes that quickly flowed into an upward slash, then into a crossing slash before he started to go into a blur of strikes and wasn't going to stop until he was pushed away or the sparring match was called off.

Rissa “felt” the sound before she heard it, but even then, she couldn't stop what would happen next. Before she had time to react, she was caught in the plant creatures vines, and dragged away, looking back at Nagamichi just in time to see him become preoccupied. Rissa frowned, twisting to remove a kunai from it's pouch, and slicing through the vines with the deft precision of a medic nin, sitting in a crouched position. She looked towards the feminine creature, her expression serious. “ Being wanted or not has nothing to do with it. I have a task and I'm going to complete it, as part of my shinobi duty.” The young brunette stood, weaving a few hand signs, before darting forward with an uncanny speed, striking to the side of the creature and backing off just as quickly. She suddenly seemed more imposing, more dangerous. Bull snake jutsu. She wasn't mimicking something, like her jutsu's namesake, but she was certainly giving off the impression of being highly dangerous. If the creature became ensnared, she'd begin to feel fear, or maybe even doubt. Dodging someone who was having trouble aiming to begin with would be child's play. Once the stream of intentions stopped flowing into the illusion of Sorain, Notwen took a quick assessment of his mindscape. It had become unstable due to everything that was happening at once, and the fact that Nagamichi and Rissa were in the black garden was making things worse. This is getting dangerous for everyone... thought the dark-skinned Chuunin, spawning a big red button an inch from his back just as the Sorain effigy executed a quick attack at his spine. The moment the button was pressed it immediately ejected Cruxis, Takeshi, Rissa and Nagamichi from his mind in the middle of whatever they were doing at that moment. Taking advantage of the protection the button had given him, Notwen spun on his heel and drove his Brisingr Kaliba into the fake Sorain's forehead, releasing an explosion of azure flames from the blade for good measure.
Back in the real world, only a few minutes had passed. Notwen discovered that his nose had started bleeding at some point because there was a circular stain of red on the sheets that covered his lap. "Yup, i definitely overdid it..." he said, grabbing some tissues from the box that was placed on the bedside table. "I'm sorry, guys, but i'm gonna need to end training for now. I kinda overestimated my ability to hold a mental training session with so many people. It was my first time with more than one other person." He paused to twist a plug of tissues and push it up his bloody nostril. "You can go now, but be careful. There's a chance that whatever happened to you in my head can still be felt."
