Asmodeus rushed over to Lilura and Madlen. "He's dead now. He can't do any more damage," Asmodeus promised. He would have to bury the body soon, but his arm was so terribly injured he could not dig the grave. "Come to my tent. I have some wine mixed with Lilura's blood. It should help you heal much quicker," he told her, clutching just below his own injury.
Turning to Lilura, he looked at how she had been hurt. He could see that she was tired and all of the injuries she had suffered and healed over the day had taken their toll on her. "Are you alright to get to my tent?" he asked. "Any organ pierced?"

Out of the system  Ƚɩℓυɾα ϺαϵʋϵLilura moved her hand from over her wound. She had to concentrate on what was slowly healing, and it seemed as though there was no really terrible damage done and she knew she could get to Assy's tent. "Sorry I can't heal you here Madlen and Assy," she said, feeling terrible that she could not make them better anymore. Caught in the spotlight

"It's okay, Lilura. I'd rather you worry about yourself." Madlen said, pushing herself up into a sitting posistion. She felt a wave of lightheadedness, which made her sway slightly. "I'll be okay, give me a moment to let the room stop spinning." She looked up at Asmodeus and frowned, seeing the gash in his arm. "I should have told you sooner. I-I shouldn't have kept the vision from you. It's my fault. . ." She felt guilty about the whole thing. If she had told Asmodeus sooner this all could have been prevented.

You should not have to become as I have," Lilura replied with a weak smile as she compressed her hand over her abdomen again. She could not hold back a little shiver however. her fingers were icy cold, although the blood pouring from the stab wound was fiery hot against her skin for a few seconds. Caught in the spotlight

A half smile pulled at the corner of her lips as she turned her attention to Lilura. "Weaker or not, I worry about you. You all are the only family I have left. . . I would die for my family." It's a concept her own family had lived strongly for, which is why her mother had hid her the night they were ambushed. The memory reminded her of the compartment she could have hidden Lilura in, making her mentally slap her forehead. Duh.

"Madlen, she is much harder to kill than you are, as proven this very day. Now please come to my tent and be healed or you may end up dieing tonight anyways," Asmodeus told her, offering her a hand up. He wished he had somewhere to wipe the blood, but her was fairly bloody, himself. 'So much blood has been spilled today, I doubt a little more matters much' he thought to himself.

"That's the funny thing about us mortals," Madlen said, taking his hand and pulling herself up. She fell forward into his arms a bit before she could re-gain her balance. "We don't care who's easier to kill, if you care about someone enough you will give your life for theirs." She gave a shrug, casting her gaze towards the ground. "This place is the only one that welcomes me when the rest of the world," she gestured to Toorn. "Shuns me."

"You should still be more careful. I would prefer you sleep in Lilura's tent tonight, rather than in here. It;s right next to mine, so I should know if anything...disruptive happens," he said, not wanting her to be in a place where so much violence and death had taken place. He doubted anything else would happen, but what if she had nightmares of the fight? Asmodeus would definitely prefer if she were closer.

Resisting the urge to make a flirtatious reply, Madlen nodded with an instant regret of the action as she found the room spinning again. She reached out for any still object to steady her so she wouldn't fall over. "It's the lack of blood that really gets you." She muttered mainly to herself.

Out of the system Ƚɩℓυɾα Ϻαϵʋϵ"I assure you, it depends on whether you get cut or stabbed and where that happens," Lilura said, wincing as the got up and holding Madlen by the elbow. We'll just have to get a bed from one of the spare tents," she said as she began to walk to the door of the caravan. The sooner her side stopped throbbing and the sharp, biting pain subsided, the better. She was going to be in a foul mood for a little while. Caught in the spotlight

"Sweety, I sleep on the floor of a caravan. The ground will be fine for a night." She told her, not wanting anyone to go through the trouble of moving a spare bed for a single night. She shivered a bit as they stepped outside, had it gotten colder or had she lost that much blood?

She would drag it to the tent herself and she was sure Madlen knew that. "Don't worry about the cold. You'll go numb soon and then it won't really matter," Lilura told her. She herself could no longer feel her feet. Her hands were numb and she could only walk because she had an unusual amount of experience with it. Caught in the spotlight

Giving up on the argument, Madlen remained quiet until they reached the desired tent, by this time her limbs had gone numb and she had difficulty walking. With each step she stumbled and came dangerously close to falling. "I don't know how you do this." Madlen said to Lilura.

Out of the system Ƚɩℓυɾα ϺαϵʋϵLilura laughed. "I have more practice than anyone should," she replied. "Asmodeus cannot live without my blood. Normally I could heal this after a few seconds and it is not an easy process to stop. The easiest way to gather enough blood without cutting multiple times is to slit my throat," she said. She had never really talked about it to anyone before. It had usually just been her burden to carry. Caught in the spotlight

Her eyes widened and she looked at her. "Doesn't that hurt?" She probably didn't want to know the answer, but she hadn't been able to censor herself before opening her mouth.
