Straye caught what he meant. She had begun to object, but then something large and furry appeared. That was one beast. She watched her Alpha jumped back and sat down, looking up at the bear clawed beast. She blinked. She could tell he was not a threat. She looked at Icarus with warm blue eyes, giving the male a reassuring look. Once it became obvious the large wolf was not going to hurt any one she spoke up. "Icarus, you and I will discuss a Second Pack later. Alright? Let's talk near lake Lux. We can us the cover of the water to speak. I wish to find my mate and my daughter... and alert the pack to the visitor so they don't panic. Is that Alright with you? Or would you Rather I stayed?"

Still wrapped up in Marie's paws she gave a grin at Tiki, "Hi!" She felt a bit more confident around her. Maybe it was because she felt familiar, "I'm Lilliana. You can call me Lilly. Marie does." She was really impressed by Tiki's ability and then Marie doing something similar. Her ears and tail dropped, she wasn't that special. "I want to learn!" Ears perking and tail standing up. She was determined. Then again she wanted to learn to do other things.

Icarus watched the bear-like wolf for a moment quietly, waiting for it to respond. He was quite surprised by Sjunheal's reaction. Pale-blue eyes followed the massive paw as it moved, and then finally settled on the face of the wolf with big eyes. Cautiously, due to the dire and darkness of his gaze, Icarus nodded his head, "Yes, all of the old packs, including the Sure-Claws are part of my pack."
He stared at the wolf quietly for a moment when suddenly Faiyrn seemed to respond. Icarus nodded in her direction, grateful for the reassuring look. "Alright, Faiyrn, I shall meet you there after. It'll be wise to... tell... the pack about Sjunheal here. I'd rather they not mistake him for a bear." He said with a quick snort of a laugh. Then his eyes changed to serious and he said once more, "I'll be fine, just go."
Icarus turned his body to face the large wolf once more, giving him a smile in hopes to comfort Sjunheal's unease.

Marie looked at Lilly and smiled. "I've been following the big wolves and watching them teach. It's the only reason I've learned anything. I feel kinda bad because I'm practically stalking them... Did anyone hear a really loud boom just now?" she asked suddenly, ears perking forward to listen.

The bearwolf was unused to being discussed as if he was not there, and quickly found that it was not to his liking at all. But he let it pass, with a low grunt of resignation. Obviously he would not have the same station here as he did in the good north. Besides, it was far more important that he see just how powerful this young alpha and his new pack was. Sjun rubbed his sizable jaw once more. "Well, that's that then." He growled out suddenly, making to stand. "I'll have to come see this pack of yours, lad, if only for a bit. Someone has t' keep those Sure-Claw in line for you."
He stretched as he stood. Powerful muscles coursed behind the fine, shaggy fur of his forelegs, and bulged visibly in the hind before they settled. "Any of those tha' stayed back from the fighting are like t' be young yet, I think. I doubt I've seen many of them since they were but wee ones." He tilted his head, reflecting on some far-gone memory, and chuckled.

Kora frowned. "You may be an old man, but your my old man. Now spit it out. Talking helps." She watched Oghren climb down and nodded at the turtle. "It is a pleasure to meet you, as well, Oghren. And I'm glad to hear it, but I was lucky enough to be adopted." she said, explaining to turtle if he wasn't just pulling 'Dragos's tail.
She looked up expectaintly at her father, waiting for the answer. Kora knew that if it was something bad, he would need somebody to talk to, and it wasn't a one-sided deal, either. She saw it as a good way to bond with her new father as well.

Tiki smiled down at Marie, "Yes you did." She praised. She looked around than back at Marie, "yes I heard it. Do you know what it was?" The young adult wolf stood up and glanced at Lilly, "Im sorry dear, maybe another time." Tiki padded off to see what was up with all this talk of a bear wolf.

Icarus noticed his dislike of being ignored and flattened his ears for a second, but then the wolf spoke and he hoped it had passed. He may at one point apologize for the act, but there were other matters to attend to now. Icarus nodded at the bear, glad to know that he appeared to be on their side for the time being. Just by his size, Icarus knew he would be a strong ally in any circumstance.
"There aren't too many, but I know for a fact we have some." Icarus said, warning the bearwolf ahead of time. He started in the direction of the clearing, that which he knew other wolves of his pack would be and paused for a moment. Icarus looked back at the wolf, and waited for him to follow. He took that chance to speak, "Of the Sure-Claws I know, there is the femme that just left, Paden, Rebel and I think the other female was Clio." Icarus looked at the ground and was tempted to tell the Sure-Claw about his fallen pack-mate, but he truly didn't want to assume that A'cuil was either dead or alive.
Pale-blue eyes turned back up towards the bear and he let the depressed emotion slide away. "There was another, A'cuil, but.. the river took him a few weeks ago." Icarus said with a pained expression, figuring it was best that the wolf know about A'cuil now rather than later. He left it to the beast to assume the outcome and only told his what had happened.

"That pale fae?" Sjunheal let out a huff of surprise, quickly catching up to Icarus. "I don' remember her. She must not've spent much time in my paws." Staring down at the bright wolf, Sjun listened and nodded as he listed off the names of Sure-Claw he knew. He remembered the unusually bright Paden, and Clio - spitfire Clio! Had she been one of the warriors he had trained? Ah, it had been before the Darkness came, and Sjunheal didn't remember much before then.
But one name, the Bear-Clawed remembered. "A'cuil!" He burst into a garrulous laugh at the very word. "That snakeskin softheart! How has he-" But then Icarus finished speaking, and the bearwolf's laugh faded on his muzzle. He lowered his head to the Alpha's, staring at him hard. His eyes, just like that, had drained into dire pits again. "What's that, y'said? A sodden rippling river, took the warrior I trained with my own paws?" His eyes narrowed, liquid, deep and dark. "I taught that brute ever'thin' he knows. Now tell me true, little firespark - how did it happen? Are you certain that he is dead?" Sjunheal wouldn't believe it. He was a much better teacher than that!

((Did anyone respond to Kitsch cus' if not there you go ^^))
Prince opened one of if his dark gold eyes and looked up just in time to see Faiyrn and Icarus walk off into the woods. The adolescent stood and shook out his fur, blades of grass flying every which way. Prince lifted his muzzle in the air and caught a faint scent of a Flyer wolf. By now the Flyer wolves in this large pack had already lost most of the plains scent but this was a new wolf. The young Brute sniffed the air again and also smelled a faint scent of Icarus coming off the same being. Prince trotted off into the woods and quickly spotted a pastel colored pup wandering around. He approached the starved looking young male in a friendly manor, his tail wagging and his ears foward. "Are you lost, pup?" Prince asked with a small but concerned smile.

Icarus was glad that the bear wolf had found some familiar names from the list, he could tell by the way his face changed as he spoke. It saddened him too see the bear light up so much, Icarus knew it would hurt a teacher so much to find his disciple had... Suddenly, the mood of the wolf had changed as he finished. Icarus darted his eyes to the side as he found the wide head of Sjunheal before his own. "We couldn't prevent it." He mumbled, feeling as though he were experiencing the pain of watching A'cuil drift away once more.
Icarus turned his pale-blue eyes to those of Sjunheal and looked hard into the darkness. "It was during a match of the Alpha Tournament. He... collapsed after a point and the river bank eroded away beneath him..." He found it a difficult story to tell, but he knew the wolf deserved to know. "Before we could get to him, it had washed away the entire area, including him."
He considered the final question for moment. They had not found a body, some had searched the river close to the area and there had been nothing. "We..." He began, but trailed off. "We don't know." He said finally. "Though we can't expect much, he was exhausted from battle and the river was strong that day." Icarus' voice was deep, sad and very remorseful.

The bearwolf stared longer into Icarus' eyes, frowning as he sought out the truth of his statements and put two-and-two together for himself. He swung his head up at last with a grunt. "Alpha Tournament, that tears it. Stupid boy never could get down to the meat of things." More low grunts sounded in his throat, making a pattern not unlike the tsk, tsk, tsk of a pitying elder. "Squarin' off against a whelp like you, lad - no offense meant, you seem like the type who'd be touchy about that - would've doomed him from the start. Him an' his honor." Sjun's ears flicked forward: the passage of wolves, a great number of them, by the sound of it - was now audible. "Try as I might, never could beat that out of 'im."

Icarus stared back at the wolf without blinking to prove the his story was true. His cerulean eyes followed the bear wolf as his head swung, accepting it, it seemed. The bright wolf let out a sigh as he listened to the massive creature. So that had been it apparently, it wasn't that A'cuil did not want to fight him because he thought he was weak, rather, A'cuil had a strong sense of honor that wouldn't allow him to fight him. Still, it hurt him greatly that his presence in the match had attributed to A'cuil's... disappearance.
Though, he found it odd that the bear wolf knew the match had included him; he had not directly said it. "It wasn't just against me, but also against the pale warrior femme that you saw moments ago. A rare threesome of a match." He said, ensuring that the wolf knew the whole truth. Icarus' ears also flicked as the wave of voices passed over them. It appeared that more wolves had returned to the clearing.
He looked back at Sjunheal, "Up there is my pack, there are many." Icarus explained, somewhat warning the wolf as to what to expect.

Faiyrn looked up at the large male. "I'm a mountain wolf!" and that said she looked at Icarus. "Yes Alpha!" and she turned tail and retreated into the forest. She Leaped from the trees and found she still heard the males talking as they slowly grew closer. She stepped out of the forest and spoke loudly amongst the others. "Wolves of the pack... Our Alpha is on his was now... and with him is a mighty Wolf, A warrior and A Teacher. He is a Bear Clawed Giant and he was the Teacher of the Sure-Clawed wolves that live among us... I was too young myself to be trained by him, but I know of him... He is visiting us, and will be here in moments... be welcoming and kind, brothers and sisters." she said with her ever present, tender smile.
She stepped away from the trees when the thundering of large paws reached their ears and she sat and looked up, waiting...waiting for the Wolf who had taught her father... She shook her head as glimpses of old memories found her. She watched and waited in the silence.
