Lilly looked pleasantly surprised.
"It sounds yummy. I'll start the tea. Aimee, honey, why don't you finish getting dressed? We can see everything in that nightie of yours."
Aimee blushed and glanced at Vincent. She nodded and ducked back into her room. Lilly drifted over to the kitchenette. She filled a kettle up with water and stole of the burners, turning it onto high.

Libby wiped her face and thought about she had done. In the most honest of explanations, this is worse than if she had been able to use her powers. He had a natural confidence influx but now, guilt at being a cheater and triumph probably at bedding her. She used her towel to dry off her skin and tugged on some baggy clothes before Seth could finish his bath.
"Hey," she called, "don't do anything stupid. I'm heading by the shop for a few hours. I'll be back just after sun down. Do you need me to get anything? Oh and when do you do laundry? I can take care of that tomorrow, if you want." The demon leaned against the wall next to the presently closed bathroom door. It made her feel better talking about practical things, things that had nothing to do with emotions whatsoever. A safe ground.

Alex jumped a mile high when Vassili suddenly grabbed her from behind. She looked at him and a scowl went on her face "Not funny jerk" she said but still a grin began to form on her lips.
When he talked about outside and was suddenly tragging her away somewhere her hand went out snatching the last fry from the plate to eat it before she started walking with him normally.
Hearing his small little information she chuckled a little bit "Glad I have my own personal history book with me" she told him but then her eyes turned and focused on the room when he opened the door. When she looked inside she was in awe of how nice and peaceful it was. Alex moved forward and into the room feeling the warm breeze brush up against her cheeks. She smiled and looked around "It's so nice" she commented "I just want to sleep in here" she told him.

Vincent flipped the pancakes like a pro and had made a half dozen before Aimee came back out. He finished the soy sausage and the toast tossing all of this on separate plates. The tea began to whistle and Vincent watched Lily pour it out, it would be nice if he could use his powers freely. He would be able to cook faster and clean faster. At the moment he was getting bored and the incident with Jordan was the highlight of this life. Vincent was thinking about going out and getting into trouble.

Seth barely heard her over the water and didn't want to answer.
"I'm good on everything, I send my laundry to the street to have it done. It costs a little extra, but I don't have to worry about the stuff." He shut the water off, he was done anyway. Seth dried off in the bathroom and pulled on a pair of sweats before exiting the bathroom. She was to his left. He looked over at her and sighed slowly.
"Try to stay safe, all I'm doing is working on refining the St. Claire even more. Also have to find the engines." Seth grinned and then leaned in and kissed her cheek and then grabbed his laptop and jumped onto the bed.
"Have fun."

Vassili enjoyed the awe off her face. She was adorable like that, he could see her in a sundress, she would look perfect.
"Well I'll move a bed down here, or maybe a futon would be better suited for in here." Vassili chuckled reminiscing on the early years in China and Japan. He wished he hadn't been confronted so early in the development of the human race. When was that just after the fall of the Roman Republic. Right after Vincent. He wondered if Vincent was bound yet. He would have to check the antique store.

Aimee reemerged from her bedroom, in the same pair of jeans, but in a "Save the Whales!" tee-shirt Lilly had given her for her birthday a few years previous. She managed a small smile for Vincent, when she smelled the lovely food. Aimee stole the cup Lilly was about drink from, drawing a dirty look from her roommate. Aimee just grinned and took a long swig from it; she made a face.
"Ugh. I think I remember why I don't drink this."
Lilly grabbed her cup back.
"Then don't take it again. Vincent, tell your girl to behave herself. She's acting like an animal."
She smiled to take the sting out of her words.

Vincent chuckled as he piled his plate with the last two pancakes he had made and pulled a bottle of honey from the fridge.
"Maybe you should try this in your tea. Shouldn't be as bitter to you." Vincent poured himself a cup of the green tea and applied a healthy does of honey to it, stirring it before he took a swig.
"Ah, honey makes everything better." Vincent really laughed now.
"What's on the agenda for the day? Anything interesting?" Vincent was thinking about going to the antique store to see if Vassili had been bought yet. Vincent had learned what trapped Vassili when his first master fought Vassili's first. It was a good day seeing as Vassili's master was nearly a hundred years old and keeled over.

'Why are you laughing? It's just honey...' Aimee was giving Vincent a queer look, even while Lilly waved off the honey; she didn't like the sweet stuff, not in her tea, at least. She compensated by laying it thickly on her food. On all of her food.
"School. Lots and lots of school."
Lilly started into her pancakes with a gusto that was completely out of sorts with her slight form. And who wouldn't be, in her position? She'd had a busy night, what with Big Blue and all and then an even more eventful morning. Aimee nibbled on a soy sausage delicately.
"But you don't have to stick around, Vincent. I'm sure you have other better things to do."

Libby accepted the kiss in stride and smiled back at him. "Which St. Claire are you refining?" she teased, patting his head, "Don't worry, I always do."
The demon donned her key after locking door. She did not bother with taking Kawa anywhere, opting for the natural sway of the winds as opposed to the force of the bike. It was around the last corner before Van's place that she noticed them. Libby continued walking as though nothing had changed but then they were on her on the home stretch. She allowed the two goons to pull her arms up in what would be uncomfortable positions for a human. To her, it was innovative stretching.
"What do you want?" she asked, grunting to make her supposed pain believeable.
"The boss needs his money back. It was too weak of an investment."
Libby darkened her eyes and turned her head back to watch them. "I did what he asked. He paid me and he's still alive. What more could there possibly be?"
The head turning had thrown them off but not enough, apparently. "He thinks that you did not earn the two grand as well as you should have." Now, the knife came out and pressed its tip into her back. "Plus, there's an extra grand missing and there were no other transactions that night. You have to pay up."
This went on for an hour as they led her back the other way to the club. What was stopping her from ripping them apart right there on the street or at least, communicating with Seth that she was in trouble? Nothing but she continued and walked in quietly into the now closed club with them. The festivities would start in another hour and she had promised Seth that she would be back by then. The demon waited for all to be present in the manager's office before speaking again.
"I'm sorry but I cannot oblige and therefore, cannot let you live any longer." From there, she tortured them and had them dead in thirty minutes. For Seth's sake, she could not return to him just yet. Either way, once news of this hit the television, he would know that she was involved. Van was not an option at this point. Calmly and washed of almost all the blood, Libby ducked her head and continued walking away. The screams would not start till she was some miles off the town.

It was dark outside and Libby hadn't returned yet. He didn't have a TV and so he called Van. Van didn't answer and Seth shrugged on a pair of denims and a jacket. He was roaring away on the Kawasaki he bast the BVR, cops were outside, but he didn't stop to look. He skidded to a stop outside the shop and pounded on the door up to the flat. Van came down wiping sleep from his eyes.
"Did Libs ever show up?"
"Naw man, I passed out about seven, but I would have heard the alarm go off if she knocked on the door, ******** its loud." Seth was already moving.
"Get the guys together, she hasn't come back to the dorm." Van was already pounding back upstairs and all five of the guys rushed down stairs. Two trucks roared to life and the Monte Carlo followed them.
"There was an incident at the BVR, one of you guys check it out, the rest of you just drive around and ask the usual people." They all nodded and Seth gunned the bike heading to the only other place that they had been since she had joined them, the massive hill they ran up yesterday.

She did not know how long she had been walking but the moon was smiling down at her now. Or was that a frown? Her current path was parallel to that which the Physical Education class had taken, a block or two separating them. Libby considered this to be protecting Seth as well. It was not likely that anyone could trace those murders/suicides back to her but if they could, Seth would be screwed. For her own purposes, the demon sent out a feeler for Seth's emotional welfare and realized that it did not have to go very far. His intuition was not that badly off but she would not allow him to find her so easily. The road was clear of any cars in this area and the nightwalkers were normal, average people. She took off at a speed but sent out a message to him all the same. "I'm sorry."

She shrugged her shoulders and glanced at him "I don't know, don't ask me. I'm not good with that decorative crap" she told him and grinned.
Her head turned back around and she walked more out to it looking around more. Taking a deep breath in and just enjoying herself right now by just relaxing.

Vincent pushed Aimee's thought around trying to get the correct wording so she wouldn't scoff at him.
'I'm used to a different honey in my tea Aimee. A much sweeter and much more natural honey.' Vincent raised his left eyebrow in her direction.
"Not really, I'm between jobs at the moment and there isn't much call for a well traveled psychologist. No beaches either so no surfing. I might wander around the campus, but I'll be near by." Vincent was barely eating now, his body was full from the orgy last night and the food yesterday. He didn't need it and it took him twice as long to digest as humans so he had to watch his consumption from now on.
"I'll hit the pool later for some laps, gotta work off breakfast and dinner."

Seth nearly lost control of the bike as the message hit him, but he kept going. He gunned the throttle and hit the top of the hill in seconds searching. Sorry, for what. He didn't see her and turned the bike down the parallel path to the one they used earlier. He hit the throttle and eased down the hill at thirty. His head was on a constant swivel. A flash, and a whisper of wind. Past that alley. Seth turned and roared after what he thought was her, but it could have been nothing, the headlamp on the bike went from low to high as he tried to find that flicker. It looked like what she had been wearing earlier.
