 *Diedra sidestepped and watched the axe pass, almost as if in slow motion. At just the right length she grabbed hold of the shaft mid-flight, then spun around to reduce the kinetic motion. With the same dark grin she spun it back and then tossed it back at Gallaine with more force*

 With just a split second to react, Evza knocked the fiery axe off course by throwing a large chunk of ice. It crashed into the blade, and the axe buried itself into a nearby wall.

Child's play. *She rushed forward to attack Gallaine while the woman would have been vulnerable* *MK jumped in however, and swung his sword fiercely overhead.*
*What he didn't expect, is that she seemed to expect this, and caught the blade between both her hands, stopping there with MK*

 Kelissa crept up behind Diedra, and placed her hand over the doll's face. Whilst filling her head with the sounds of creepy whispering voices, she erased Diedra's memories, to give MK the advantage.

*Diedria gave the woman a queer look, tossing the weight of MK's blade aside and going for a roundhouse kick around Kelissa's head**MK staggered and got his balance back, looking for another opportunity to swing*

As soon as Kelissa's hand touched Diedra's wooden forehead, she knew that her "surprise" had failed. She took the kick, and collapsed to the floor heavily.  Paris swept in, puncturing the doll on his rapier before she had a chance to react.

*The doll stood there, unemotive at Paris' attack. She grabbed it in both hands and pulled it inward to remove it from his hands, walking around now with the blade stuck through her.*I hope you were not expecting blood. *The captain was about to thrust into her, when he had watched Paris and Diedra's reaction to it. Figuring a piercing attack was in vain, he swung overhead again and buried the blade in her shoulder. She seemed not to react.*
... This is unholy.

'She is wooden, I believe,' Kelissa said, observing the two bewildered looking men. 'I say we just hack it limb from limb then,' Paris suggested, glowering at Diedra.

Even if you manage to destroy this body, I will just inhabit another. Though to do that... *She lifted the sword out from her shoulder, and the rapier out from her chest, dropping both down to the ground. Holding a hand over each spot, small vines crawled out from the wounds, mending the holes*Then we'll simply use a different tactic. Though... I'm not so sure that this will work as intended, you will not bar us from taking this tower. *The power of Origin flowed through him, casting its silvery light about. The form was not yet changing though, and MK seemed oddly focused*

 'Wood burns,' Gallaine simply said, and threw a fireball down at Diedra's feet. She kicked Paris' rapier back towards him, and he picked it up, watching the doll.

*The doll stamped around, trying to put it out. She ended up grabbing a fire blanket from beside a heavy cannon, wrapping it around the burning area, then removing it to reveal charred leg*What sort of cruelty is that? How would you like if I disfigured you, huh? *Fire seemed to begin spouting from MK, though he was still in spirit form as far as anyone could tell. He spoke no word, but instead kept his focus, picturing 2 sets of DNA at once in his mind*

Two more orbs of brilliant flames burst from Gallaine's palms, which she shot off at Diedra; one was aiming for her knees, the other straight for her head.

Oh ********, c'mon, seriously!? *She danced around with the blanket, trying feverishly to put the fire out. Taking just a moment to focus on her attacker, Diedre held an arm out and before anyone knew it Gallaine was dropped to her a*** *MK transformed and the light faded, now half the Nexus of Souls, and half a Soul of Sol. Collecting his thoughts and powers, he engulfed all of Diedra in flame by swinging out both his arms and setting her ablaze in a cone of fire*

Gallaine went flying back, and dropped to the floor a few feet away from Diedra.  'Are you okay?' Asphyxia asked, hurrying over and holding a hand out. 'I'll be fine,' she said, taking Asphyxia's hand and standing upright again. She noticed that the only one of the group who currently was not gaping at MK's transformation was Evza, who was giving her worried looks. 'I'm okay, honest.'

*MK reached out with the arm that wasn't aflame, and grabbed Diedra quickly by the neck, lifting her off the ground.*We are passing through to the overlord, and if you insist on stopping us, your existence will cease. *Diedra stared in fright, reacting then by grabbing his arm with both hands and creeping vines along it*
What the hell kind of power is this? I knew you were different, but this should not be!
