"Hey, i'm alright, it's not like you killed me" Terry said to yuina with not much of any emotion in his eyes. He lifted his head up alittle, but shifted his eyes towards yuina. Terry watched as just a single tear rolled down her face, and started to feel alittle sad himself. "aww, hey... What happend to make you this sad?" he asked turning his head to the side and leaned towards her. He raised his hand and pushed some of yuinas hair out of her face to see her face more clearly, and hopped she wouldn't mind it. "Seeing you cry, makes me want to cry alittle too, ya know?" Terry told her showing alittle bit of the emotion of sadness in his eyes. They were still changing their colors, red to blue.

"Okay, if you say so." Yuina said when Terry said he was alright. She stared at Terry when he pulled some of her hair out of her face. "A few occurances, that's all." She siad, answering his question. Her dark purple eyes roamed the floor in a lost way. When Yuina saw the sadness in Terry's eyes because of her crying, her tears just stopped, and she refused to cry anymore then what she had in front of Terry. As unexpectedly as it happened, she hugged Terry.

"That was alittle unexpected of you, Yuina." Terry said quietly and soft, not wanting to annoy her much.He wrapped his arms gently arround her the moment after she had given him the hug. He noticed something alittle different about her, she was no longer crying, now. That made him feel alot better at that moment, and it showed. His flickering, now blue, eyes were no longer filled with such sadness as before. "What made you stop crying all of the sudden?" Terry asked yuina, not thinking that she would mind another question from him.

Yuina looked at Terry a small smile appeared on her face. "I know it was unexpected." She hated making people sad so she decided to forge out a different side. When Terry asked her the last question, she thought about the answer for a moment. Her dark purple orbs wandered the floor. "Well, you see, I hate it when people around me are sad, especially if they're sad just because I'm sad. So, I decided to stop crying and let all of my sadness just wash away." She said quietly.

Saraneth found her way into a secret chamber at the tower. She had left several of her belongings here while trying to flee from some strange shadow, quite a while earlier. Even as she ran, more and more cuts appeared over her from invisible knives. She dropped to the ground and quickly slipped on a silver manacle that was next to her backpack. "Activate!"
A strange force was thrust out from her as a forcefield shield appeared. She could see the energy points where the invisible knives were hitting her, flaring a dull silver on the transparent forcefield. Pulling a small tub of what looked like skin cream out of her bag, she began to apply it to her wounds.

Kira had followed Sara out of slight concern. He felt a breeze that lightly caught his dark hair and pressed his white shirt and grey slacks to his skin. He simply moved his hand to his head and moved his hair out of his face so he could see clearly. He had entered the belltower soon after Sara and saw her enter the secret chamber. He followed quietly. "Hey Sara? You alright?" He called out wondering if she was fine or seriously injured.

As the flaring stopped, Saraneth cautiously put down her shield and breathed a sigh of relief. Wincing as she applied the ointment to the rest of her wounds, she bound them up with gauze strips. The darkness of the shadows brought cool relief in the heat of the summer. So it was early august... that's still considered summer, one of her least favorite seasons, especially since paper burned so easily if the sun grew too bright and hot... or the paper got too close to the sun. Speaking of paper, she remembered that there was still one flying about. Saraneth snapped her fingers. A piece of thin cardstock the size of a business card appeared, floating to the ground. It was black with brownish stains on it. She quickly took it into her hands and put it inside the pocket of her shorts. It was humming against her skin... so the angel did follow her? She was half hoping he did... he was kinda cute. Not as cute as the Ravenhawk or that seven-foot-tall jock-looking guy with the bunny shaped robot, but still pretty cute. Maybe she shouldn't be stealing guys who are already taken... but what the hell? It was part of her job, quite literally, to steal guys... literally being a key word here. Saraneth continued to bind up her last few wounds as she listened to the humming of his aura as Kira drew even nearer. The cut on her face was quite annoying. She hadn't planned on anything hitting her face. It was quite rude.
"Yes, I'm fine!" She yelled when she heard the inquiry... he was near. This was a good time to use her secret technique... Saraneth whispered, "Open the Kekkai..."
From invisible points in space, she drew energy and surrounded the entire belltower in a shroud of darkness. Here, only the holder of the Kekkai may have the sense of smell, sight, hearing and taste. Even the sense of touch was greatly diminished for those without her power. This was her trap. Kira would be under her control within several moments... unless if he can find someway to stop her, Rivera was hers to claim control over.
In a very mocking, shrill and childish voice, "Oh my! Who turned out the lights! I'm so scared!" Saraneth laughed.

Kira raised his eyebrow at the mocking shrillness of her voice. It seems she either wants to toy around with me or she is another assassin... He thought quietly. At all the darkness in, and around the belltower he simply sighed and created an aura of light that expanded outward from his body, cutting through the darkness. It was simple logic really. Light can be covered and snuffed by darkness, darkness can be penetrated by light. When they clashed they always negated each other. "Well it was good to hear you're alright... But now I'm not so sure I should want you to be alright..." He said quietly.

Even with light, Kira still would be unable to see... after all, a kekkai isn't formed of darkness. It is of only pure presence, absorbing both light and dark to form a neutrality that destroyed senses of all its inhabitants but the one who opens it. Not even the ability to sense auras or use the 'mind's eye' remained. Saraneth was fully invisble to him unless if he figured out how to make it possible himself. This was the power of the Silence Kekkai. It was the most secret technique she has, and no one who has ever laid an eye on it lived... as to the preservation of her secret. It wasn't listed at all as one of her powers on her enrollment form. If she succeeded, she would never have to use it again, nd the secret would be out. If she failed, she would never use it again because she would probably be either dead, permanently comatose, maimed or powerless. She had heard of the Gyrfalcon's power as well as her several level-up formations. It had only taken the Gyrfalcon seven days to master hypermode's instantaneous activation, now without the need for fatigue or desperation. She had researched that before she took on this job. It was rumored that she was training even more strongly on a chaotic power tier rivaling Paladin and Archangelic sorcery on the highest levels. It was only a rumor around the school administration that her paper cranes had spied upon... but she was about to believe that the Gyrfalcon was something to watch out for... although she doubted that even this infamous assassin could break through her Kekkai. The only way to get out was if she released it, or if she were severely injured and losses power. Aside from this art, there was very little power she had in other forms of magic. A little animation inffusion here, a little necromancy there, a tad of illusion occasionally... but just about anything else would be physical power. She was just about fully human, afterall. Her mother was an itako with powerful spirit energy, but she wasn't anything close to her late mother, who could summon ghosts with ease while all she could do was see them floating about.
Kira's light energy was only absorbed by her kekkai, made to strengthen it even further. Saraneth knew there were several ways to defeat her in this kekkai and regain freedom, but she had planned for all the ones that she knew of. The shield barrier manacle she wore spirit-locked to her wrist was protected by its own strongest barrier. It wouldn't come off until she were dead or until she unlocks it. Fed by the power of the kekkai, it formed an endless circulation of energy as it fed released energy back into the kekkai. Saraneth smiled. Snapping her fingers, she let a ream of cardstock paper fly from her backpack, forming strong feathers as hard as diamonds in a pair of disconnectable wings. They moved even more flexibly than real ones and were much more powerful than the naturally made pair. She had spent hours designing it to match up against the Gyrfalcon's steel wings. Unless if this... Rivera girl learns to control her full power on her tier two attack formation, these wings will never be destroyed... not by fire nor water nor the breaking of planes. In fact, EVERYTHING in this battle had been planned out on the prospect of capturing the Gyrfalcon alive. It was planned in the utmost detail with the fullest scrutiny. She didn't expect to fail at all... hopefully.
"I won't fight you, Kira-kun..." Saraneth said in her sweetest voice, channelling it directly to Kira's mind for him to hear her as if she came from all directions. It had been planned out carefully. He will not know where she was. "If you will fight me, all I can do is defend. You're too cute." She giggled, "Actually... I need you alive. Remember when you asked me about Rivera? She's the Gyrfalcon... isn't she?" Pacing about, Saraneth smiled quite innocently. She was just a girl out to make a living... even if the job was dirty, the money for her father was all she cared about. She had learned to be hard and even cruel... and sometimes enjoyed it. It horrified her, but she learned to dealt with it.
"I am Kestrel... and I want her alive..." Saraneth continued, "Ravenhawk has his power, but I've spent a long time perfecting the environment to be in my favor as well as my power... I heard he lost... too bad! The blithering idiot deserved that for not planning things out." Her voice became more sing-song like with each word, turning into a rant out of all things... "Just because Gyrfalcons and Hawks are bigger than Kestrels doesn't mean their brains are much bigger... You, Kira Tenshi, is my primary target. You will be my hostage... in exchange for her, of course." Even as she paced and spoke, she was not bending her caution. The moment he tried to attack, she would repell it easily. She wasn't seeing with her eyes, but using her Kekkai to monitor every single movement he was to make. Even if he set up illusions or teleported, the kekkai would tell her everthing the moment it happens. She will not be unready. Saraneth was determined to do this job right... after sleepless nights and restless days of planning, she refuses to lose. All she hoped was that the Gyrfalcon would get here quickly and she could end it. The Kekkai wasn't going to hold up for long.

Kira looked around and sighed. This is just great... The girl has me surrounded and I can't even see my own damned nose... He thought. "I'm sorry but I'm taken... So keep your compliments to yourself..." He whispered as he turned his head blindly, trying to see if he could sense any aural presences. Nothing... This just gets better and better... He thought as he stopped turning his head. He grabbed Diabolo from its holster wondering if he could do anything with the large black thirteen millimeter handgun.
Kira started spinning the hand gun from its trigger guard as he continued the conversation with Sara. "How do I know you won't kill me after you have Rivera? And also... Why should I even go peacefully?!" He shouted flaring his wings amplifying his light and dark aura as he formed a bullet of compressed light and darkness and fired it off hoping to hit her while he tried to swallow whatever she was creating within his aura and absorb it into himself if necessary.

Kestrel dodged easily and giggled. "Tee hee... you missed me!" She knew his strategy well. It was something she had planned for when she created this special Kekkai. Anything and everything that she didn't want could be absorbed into the Kekkai, except for people with higher level magic such as Kira and Rivera and herself. "I've got no grudge against you! When I get the money, I'll send it to my old da and just disappear. I never use the same attack twice, and I'm completely untracable. If you can't come after me when this is done, I'm happy if my da can live out his full life without worries."
She suddenly laughed, "Oooh! She's here! This should be good..." Saraneth waved her hand. The Kekkai expanded even further in its reaches. Rivera found herself engulfed in a world without senses. She felt so powerless... so... weak and vulnerable here. When she coughed, she heard no sound. She could barely feel the ground beneath her feet or the clothes on her skin. "Kestrel, I know you're here... let Kira go now!" Her voice never reached her own ears, but she knew very well that Kestrel would hear it. Saraneth did, of course... it was her Kekkai.
"The Gyrfalcon has arrived..." Her voice channeled into the minds of the Kekkai's occupants. "Well, I'm not simply going to hand him over ya know. You got anything to trade?" Saraneth's voice came as the words of an average conversation, disarmingly cheerful. Rivera began to speak, but coughs stopped her. The world was all a dizzy muddle to her, and being in the Kekkai completely threw off her perception as well as what remained of her health. Saraneth laughed, "What's wrong, bird got your tongue? You poor thing, I think you have a fever! There's a case of flu around campus lately... yeah, that would be my doing of course!" She didn't even bother to hide her sarcasm. It oozed between her words like glue and gump.
Rivera regained her breath. It was a good thing Kira probably can't hear her. He would know that she was here, since Kestrel would be mindchannelling to the both of them, probably to avoid being attacked by blind luck. "You dare to kidnap Kira and demand a trade? You're despicable!" She sent out a chaotic shockwave throughout the entire Kekkai. It wasn't enough to hurt anyone, but it would sting a little. 'I'm sorry, Ki-kun...' She knew it would hit him as well... but it was crucial to her aim. As she had predicted, Saraneth activated a forcefield shield to avoid pain... just like a slowwitted coward. And with what she had of touch, she felt her shockwaves come back to strike her at a specific angle... perfect for her. The Kekkai itself was a forcefield of complete neutrality, absorbing and feeding to form a constant pattern. When a new shield is created within a larger one, they usually work together or negate eachother, depending on their polarity placement. Because this Kekkai was neutral, Kestrel's shield would be constantly pulled apart and constantly mended, even after she deactivates it. All she had to do was to attack near where her chaotic energy bounced off the fragments being pulled off.
Saraneth suddenly laughed in her mind. the sound of her laughter drove Rivera to her knees, holding her head. Her headache had just been made worse. "I know what you're thinking! I know every single possible way to defeat me normally in a Kekkai... and I know you'd think of them as soon as you came in here... however..." The Kestrel suddenly moved near Kira, letting the Kekkai flash for a moment that only Rivera could see between. The time it took for lightning to travel from point A to point B a milimeter away was the time it took for the Kekkai to flash, revealing that Kira was right behind her. She moved away momentarily right after the flash. No doubt the angel would've sensed her in that time if not seen her. She would come near him soon later, even if he were constantly moving to repel her. She had ways to channel to only one person with their worst fears on her tongue.
"That's why I brought Kira along with me." Saraneth mind-channeled to Rivera alone, "He doesn't know where I am. I can torture him to my heart's content. Shields don't matter... this is my Kekkai, I control the stakes... so will you come quietly and save having to hear him scream in your dreams... or will you let him suffer?"
((I'll let you have your fun after my next post ^^ You can do whatever to try and stop her... but the only reason she has you here is to make sure Rivera doesn't beat her to a pulp ^^))

"A girlfriend? Oh no, I don't think anyone would want to go out with me. In fact," Ryuu paused, looked around and lowered his tone so that no one else would hear, then continued, "to tell you the truth, I've never had a girlfriend." Ryuu laughed nervously and scratched the back of his head. Oh god she probably thinks I'm a loser now...

Sora blinked a few times, and just simply smiled. "That's all right! I've never had a boyfriend!" She replied cheerily. "See? I don't think your pathetic or a loser. In fact, I'm a lot like you." She nodded, patting Ryuu on the back. She looked up at the dark sky, seeming to be spotted with millions of sparkelly lights, all distant.
"I love the sky when it's all starry-like. Don't you?" Sora asked softly, swinging her legs off the edge of the bell tower. "Wow.. it's getting pretty late..." She blinked a few times, wondering how Ayame and Hikari were doing. She had a lot on her mind actually, like what she would do about her brother. She truly hated her brother, because he hated her.
"Have you ever felt like the world was against you? Just for what you seemed to be, but not for what you were?" Sora asked, looking completely distant.

"You've never had a boyfriend either!? Wow, I guess we are alot alike." Ryuu sat down next to her and stared up at the sky and smiled warmly. "Hmmm? Have I ever felt like the world was against me for what I seemed to be? What do you mean?" A look of confusion spread accros his face as he looked over at her.

Sora closed her eyes, deep in thought. "Well, you know the saying 'Don't judge a book by it's cover'? It's kind of like that, where people judge you by what you supposedly are, but not by the real you?" she explained. "I've felt like that... a lot. That was basicly my child hood, where everyone, even my family, couldn't stand my existance. I was said to be something dangerous and uncontrollable, but no one even tried to see the real me. I had no intention of hurting anyone, ever."
She opened her emerald eyes, a reflection of a shoting star running through them as the actual shoooting star danced across the sky. She used to see stars like that a lot, and every night she would wish for someone, anyone, to be her friend. To show her the love that she never had. This thought brought tears to sora's eyes as she winced, her eyes stinging. "Yet nobody cared. They were too foolsh to see past other people's opininons." She added sadly, yet angrily. The tears now flooded down her cheeks, not being able to hold them back.
