She looked at the clock on the wall.
'I have to be somewhere. I'll quite possibly be back tonight if you're awake.'

Kaori ran back in the room, panting.
'What fun,' she said sarcastically, flopping on the bed.
She motioned for Kai to come sit and she began to pet him.
