It had been at least a few hours and Eve wasn’t talking at all as she continued to help out the rest of the crew pack up camp and continue to move on. Hitomi saw how silent she was and wondered what had happened but one look at Eve’s eyes spelled disaster if she spoke, so ,Hitomi kept quiet but the whole time that Eve was helping, there was a huge fight going on in her mind, A battle of control if you must.



"You suck you know that?Why could you not take over someone your own size?""I would if I could you pint size human!"What did you call me? how DARE YOU!"Ok you know what? You are exactly like me in everyway.If only Drako could see this now he would be haveing a laughing fit over this predicament.""Why? What happened?""A long time ago, my husband, Drako Rose aka the lord of chaos got himself stuck in his own mask and was stuck in this other gentlemens body for a while. It took some of the dietys and myself to figure out how to get him out of his own dam mask. I wouldn't leave him alone about that for the rest of my life.Now! Here I am! Stuck in that same predicament.""Yea! Sucks for both of us now doesn't it."" More than you want to know right now!"" Well I have dutys I have to take care of so ummm.........just stick around."" Nice choice of words there smartass!""Shut up Scarlet!"


Hitomi had finally woken up as the camp was just about to break when Eve walked up to her." Smooth move making Eve do all the work. That was awsome!"Eve grabbed her mouth as she felt Scarlet use her vocal cords.You have no permission to use my body without asking m""Sure Hun! What ever you say! Eve looked like she was readyto murder someone at that point.

" Hey! Wait! I'm sorry!" Eve ran after Hitomi and stopped her.
" Look! I'm sorry! I didn't expect any of this to happen let lone having a long dead queen trying to take over mI resent that! Yes I might be dead but I'm still here arn't I? Look Hitomi, people are going to have to get use to this otherwise it's not going ot work out for any of us.Just like she said. Look can you get her out of me somehow? Maybe call Drako and help him sort this mess out maybe??

Ok for the record! Scarlet has a british accent while Eve has a bit of a southern draw of the Us to her voice so you can tell their voices apart!

" Yea like that is ever going to really happ" "Hush Eve! Hitomo has a point though. in order for both of us to get out of this mess we need to first find out what got us in the mess in the first place. All I remember after talking wiht Hitomi was feeling like I was getting vacumed into something and now I can't seem to get out."" intresting choise of words your highness!" " Shut up Eve unless you want to tell us what happend by any chance." "All I remember is wakeing up and hearing a voice in my head calling for help.Not much I guess!"

Drako was quietly in his own world while Everist and Violet were playing paper dolls together in her room. They were quietly chattering with each other but Drako was not even aware of the present time.He was far off in the past.
"Oh my GOD! you got yourself stuck in your own mask! I can't believe you Drako! YOU of all people!" Scarlet could not stop laughing and was having a howling good fit of it but Drako was pouting in the corner of their manor house." That's really not funny hun! You know that I couldn't even move fast enough to that attack."
Drako turned around and stormed off when she continued to laugh.
All of the sudden, a huge fireball went shooting past him and he yelped and fell backwards only to hear the girls start giggling. He grinned making the scar on his face look fresh from a fight.
" Violet stop playing with the fire. We don't need another table charred."

Over the next few weeks, Scarlet had come to understand what had happened over the course of a couple hundred years.
“You know, a lot of things have changed since I was on earth and the different planes of existence. So Queen Yuki is now in charge and has lost control of her powers? Hmmmmm”
Scarlet was quiet for a long time before Eve spoke up in her mind.
“So……..ummm scarlet? U there?” “I am unfortunately. I’m just thinking about things from my past.”
“Oh! So……..Who are you exactly since we never actually responded to each other than in taunts. I mean, it’s only fair that I have to share my body with a spirit so you owe me some answers.”
Eve heard Scarlet groan in her mind but was awaiting answers at this point. She decided to take a look around and see what was going on but everyone seemed to be asleep at the moment as the sky began to lighten with the sun coming up weakly. Eve sighed and Scarlet spoke up.
“Eve, My name is Scarlet Knight. I was the Queen of the Netherworld. I am also a shade. I was a very powerful shade in my time. Everyone respected my authority when I was around. I also was the only member in my family that has not been possessed by the corruptive power that the netherworld throne has. I changed my destiny and shaped it into something that I wanted to look back at and be proud of.
Eve? I believe that you are the one that was supposed to take my place in the world and with my help…….you can do the impossible.” "But what does this
have to do with me though? How am I going to do the impossible?”
"Eve! I am always lasting. I am now immortal. As long as I am in you, you can’t die as easily. I have lived for almost 500 years before I died at the hands of Sara. You also have the magic abilities that I had and even further.”“So you’re saying that I can’t die as long as you’re within me and that I’m your counterpart?”“Precisely Eve! And I believe that you also share my skills and abilities in fighting.” “How do you know about how I fight?”
Eve stood up quickly and tripped over one of the other members of the group who were sleeping. She caught herself by flipping over the other person and landing on all fours. She answered a few chosen words as Scarlet asked it she was ok. Scarlet merely shrugged the insults off.“Look! Think about it! How have you been able to disappear within the shadows so easily? How do you do it? You don’t know? I do! That was one of my special abilities that saved my life more than once.”
Eve quickly looked up at that remark but remained silent. Why was this all happening now? She had nothing to do with all this. She just wanted all the fighting to stop and even better end the tyranny that had such a firm grip on the world. Eve sighed and replied.“What do you want me to do?”
Scarlet smiled and used Eve’s vocal cords to answer.“You are going to learn how to use the powers that I possess. Otherwise you will never be able to take Queen Yuki down. Only I was able to keep her head on straight. So now it’s your job!”“You have got to stop using my vocal cords like that. It’s just plain weird.”
Eve then spotted Hitomi coming back as the weak rays of dawn shone down upon her carrying what looked like pomegranates from earth. Eve ran to help her but remained quiet in which caused Hitomi to worry.

Drako had been pondering the situation as he began to realize how out of control the games were getting. Violet was sleeping and Drako was constantly reminded of the thoughts of the past as he sat in the library of his late wife and his manor. The ticking of the grandfather clock in the mostly empty house was beginning to unnerve him. He was very jumpy as he continued to watch the mirror in the library as the events in the quells were beginning once again but in the ice realm. His eyes narrowed when he realized that the groups that Eve and Hitomi were leading were heading right into a massive death trap that Queen Yuki had set up. A quiet knocking on the door startled Drako and he spun on his heels quickly and let loose a dagger that imbedded it’s self in the main door. A guard heard the dagger whistle past him and he cried out in surprise. It was very rare that his highness did something like that unless he felt his life was on the line. The guard bowed and went on to tell the news of the battlefield while Drako calmly went and retrieved his dagger. “Your highness, Scotts wanted you to know that they have been kicked out of Queen Yuki’s realm and that they can’t enter anymore due to a barrier that is blocking their way.” Drako looked up while he replaced the dagger into its hidden sheath on his leg. “So….your telling me that Yuki has her realm now all locked up and no one can enter or exit?” The guard nodded and Drako sat down to think for a minuet. “Scotts is awaiting your orders King Drako.”
Drako quietly then answered the guard. “Tell them to fall back and protect our realm, especially Violet. Also let Scotts know that I want a word with him once he’s back.” The guard bowed and quietly slipped out of the room as Drako continued to be in deep thought. He looked up suddenly as a thought had just occurred to him. He grinned while watching the mirror. His once purple eyes now were mixed with red while the whites were inversed just like his late wife’s were. He then put the book down that he was reading and briskly walked out of the library and headed down the dark and quiet hall of the manor into his bedroom. He locked the door behind him and made a beeline to the closet. Once there, he started to tear everything out of it. It was a few minuets before Drako started to panic when he couldn’t find what he was looking for. He then went into a frenzy as tears started to form in his eyes. He then just rocked back on his knees and let the tears run. “Scarlet? What did you do with it? Out of all these years of having it hidden, what did you do with it?” While Drako was having an emotional breakdown, an old and worn out shoe box was slowing teetering on the edge of the shelf and when Drako slammed his fist into the doorframe the box fell. The contents were scattered in front of the closet and a surprised Drako looked in disbelief at what was on the floor. He then grabbed the contents and quickly stuffed them all into the box and then lovingly hugged the box with all his worth.
When the coast was clear about 2 hours later and everybody in the realm was asleep, Drako grabbed the box from the closet and tore into it. What was in the box was none other than the assassin garb that he had worn before he was turned into a vampire and way before he even met Scarlet. He quickly and quietly slid on his old garb and was very pleased that everything still fit. The clothes were made out of leather, corduroy, Kevlar, and cotton. His pants were pure black and at the ends of them were red embroidered cloth with roses on it in black. His shirt was more of a tank that was the same black but very tight fitting. Drako then started to scrutinize the box for his weapons and finally found them when he pulled out the trench coat that he was famous for. He picked up his two swords and slid them into the holsters on his back and then slid on the pouches that he carried. One around his leg, the other carrying his small dagger on his other leg and then he latched the utility belt around his waist. Drako looked to the floor and then saw his most treasured weapon. With a gentle sweep of his hand, he now held a very thin cable that was barely visible to the eye. He attached it to his belt and slid the coat on. The ends of the sleeves also had the embroidery on them as well. Drako then weaved his magic and created a mask that looked like the one that he normally wore but this one was black and red. He let his normal mask sit on his vanity and grabbed the new one. Putting it on his face, he looked in the mirror a almost gasped in shock, he forgot that his eyes weren’t the same and now he did look demonic with the mask on. At the very last second, he grabbed a pair of black leather gloves and slid them on while closed the closet door to reveal another mirror but this one was for viewing different planes. Drako smiled behind the mask as he touched the mirror and began to slid though as he heard someone beginning to knock on his bedroom door.
Drako found himself in the quells of the wind plain and started to search for the party that he was going to have to protect. It was a very short walking distance and he saw everyone asleep but Hitomi. Drako quickly used the cable to pull himself into the tree so that he wasn’t noticed but noise of the cable hitting the tree alerted a few and Drako cursed. Using his coat, he blended into the shadows quickly. “If only I could use all the powers that I have gained but it I do, everyone will know who I am unless………..what if I fake some of my abilities.” Drako smiled and had an idea.

Hitomi was in and out toying with one of her daggers on her finger standing night watch and pauses picking up a sound, her eyes narrow as she tried to pin point on the source changing from one direction to the other but wasnt seeing anyone. "Perhaps its just my mind playing tricks from not sleeping enough......then again." a rustle sound echos and her eyes dart above her realizing someone was watching the group, Hitomi's old instint started to come back as she lunges up into the trees keeping low in the branches and watches, someome was there and she could see a glimpse but wasnt too sure and steadies a few needles between her fingers,"Whoever this guy is I have a bad feeling......I've seen that kind of hiding technique before.." It hit Hitomi that who she was dealing with has assasian skill just like her and kept her distance. Slowly and carefully she raises her needle and throws them just spaced out enough only to scare the intruder and then take them down.

Several things were going through her mind from the familier voice to the shock of being ambush so quickly, he was aged somewhat but his skills were on point so finely she couldnt even hear him coming and was trapped instantly. I underestimated this one.....through the shadows he looked easy but oh how wrong I was....perhaps I could learn something from him but I wonder what would cost so high for it. Hitomi looks up grabbing her neck and was thinking, with abilities like that she could be more useful to the group for protection however she was still thinking about it....what could she possibly give to gain a higher ability, she then spoke quietly,"I've been through many tests before especially the past few quells before my sister, I can take any test you can give however I do question the high cost? what would I have to do to have you teach me?" She kept her stare towards him for a response but being around him spooked her enough that she started to tremble a bit, normally Hitomi doesnt get scared easily but being in the presense of the rose reaper and from stories told to her the surroundings felt chilled.
