Nagi sighed watching Miyoko as she left. Nagi felt a bit lonely just then thinking back, remembering those who had died before him. He smiled then. Everyone was tensed well except for him. He was probably the most relaxed out of everyone here. The job of piling the dead was almost done. Nagi let the grunts and the students handle the rest of the work as he shunpoed ontop of a house and began his way back towards the academy, to his home for a bit of rest.

Rikatsu slaps a friendly hand on Kaosu's shoulder. "C'mon, I'll give you guys a hand with these." With the fire of all the pain he sees around him in his eyes, he punches Kaosu's other shoulder a little roughly. "And after that we train, harder than we have before, against the most appropriate opponents we have." He looks around at all the gathered students. "Ourselves."
Looking around at the mess and devastation, Rikatsu sighs a bit, he seems to be doing alot of that lately. "I for one, am going to get stronger than anyone", he says firmly. Turning his back, Rikatsu grabs a shovel and moves towards the unfinished job.

Long had came over piling bodies one by one with both his arms holding one person at a time, it wasn't until some bodies were at the point where they were to be burned. He lightly sighed, this wa sad for him to see so many depart. Long had set himself to a pace that was easy for him, bodies were found in one spot. He lightly gestured to Sulia to hurry up and help. huis garb was being covered with blood and dirt as he found himself becoming more and more like someone who had risen up from the dead after the battle had taken place and claimed all who stood.
"Sulia..Are you going to help or not?" Long asked almost like a father to daughter tone.

Zenmaru tossed a final corpse into a ditch, and turned to look at the myriad of students rushing to and fro. His lime eyes watched the young children mourn with one another, bicker with one another, and do their child-like things in the face of mass death. He sighed. It was such a sad sight to see. Children were moving corpses.
Another sigh came as he began to walk away from the stinking corpses. His feet moved slowly as he looked onward the people assigned to the district, and he made mental notes of who he saw talking versus who he saw working hard. But, still, he walked on.

Shunketsu walked by Long, carrying a body to the pit.
"Job's almost done anyway...all we can really do now is finish up and hope someone kills off those captain-level ryoka..."
Shunketsu's voice wasn't remotely the same as it was during their last spar, it was colder, as if he himself bore some kind of hatred. Of course there was no reason for Shunketsu to hate Long...the hatred was directed more at himself. This district is where Shunketsu came from...and he wasn't around to protect it...
"so how you holding up?" Shunketsu asked, mainly to try and hide his own depressed state...

Haro nodded to the teacher, and the symbol moved in plain view upon his neck as she was looking at him, as purposeful as anything. And he was back to normal, a sly smirk on his face. He could see the curiosity in her eyes about those symbols. But she would not find anything about them if she researched...unless there were actually books written about the Takiri family. His parents hadn't had the symbols...but they had been deemed mad...they spent their whole lives working on these energy seals, locking away thousands of years of information within his body using these symbols....it was interesting, but he had his doubts that there would be too much literature about two nutjobs with only one thing that proved they weren't crazy....Haro himself.
He lowered his head as he stood there, looking over his shoulder at Kaosu for a moment. He took a deep breath and he decided then and there. He was not going to be weak again...and he was going to struggle...to find out who he was....and hopefully this was him, and he could stick with this. He didn't need those other personalities. And he was going to be strong. But sometimes...digging graves meant being strong. He walked over to Kaosu and clapped him on the shoulder, not hitting him, but just clapping his open hand down on the shoulder and gripping it tightly. "Kaosu...after these graves are full. Me and you....and your friend here too if he'd like....we're going to go....and we are going to get the training we need. We'll get stronger for them!" He growled, pointing to a grave that was recently covered up. He gripepd his odd zanpaktou's blade and he slid the palm of his hand over it, a river of crimson covering it and he dripped the blood over the grave before covering the small wound. "I swear on my life....on my blood...and on my soul." He said, kissing his hand and placing it upon the grave.
He then stood up straight and he looked at the few uncovered graves. "So Kaosu, grab a shovel and help me fill these graves...so we can get out of here...and train faster." He said with a grin as he picked a shovel up and he dug it into the earth and threw it into the grave. He pushed his muscles hard and fast...he was going to fill these graves as fast as he could so he could go and train with his friend. He needed to become strong...one day he would be like Aichou was...or Miyoko...he would be like them. And when he was...he would protect the people...so this would never have to happen again.

Aichou herself just moved what was left. She took the bodies in the alleyways and under the rubble of houses. It was getting stressful on the young ones..even the not so young. It was time to do her thing, because that's what she was here for. She gestures, four spheres striking the bodies, consuming them quickly..
"Hadou no Gojuushi; Haien!"
She then turns her head to the students..and you know, she really does look weird without her trademark big red pointy hat, come to think of it. But she speaks up..addressing everyone there..
"I know this is unheard of, but for the Shinigami that have already passed and graduated, I'll be training you myself, along with the other teachers. Those who haven't passed classes will be taking a single class to consolidate all of their skills. You'll be notified when this will occur. Until then, train on your own time until you get the notice. Students, you'll train under student teachers or alone under supervision in general. It will be sporadic and hectic around here. So just adapt, everyone. If you want to gain strength the first thing you have to learn is to adapt. Some of you want revenge. Some of you want glory..and some of you just want to make sense of all this. That's fine. Your reasons are your own and I won't question them. But you'd better be determined to do what it takes to grow and not slack off an inch..or else.."
She grins then, her red eyes lighting up..showing those slits, and her fangs are showing..like that time she was fighting before..
"I'll kill you!"
And so said, she shunpous away out of the area

Tsai had recently entered the area and heard part of the speech that the lady said as she shunpoed past him. He walked in looking at the pile of dead corpses with blank eyes. His bandages on his left arm flowed in the sudden breeze. He nudged his glasses back onto his nose.
He searched the area for familiar faces, there was Haro, Kaosu and someone who seemed so familiar to him but he did not know the name. As he searched he looked at the dead and bowed with his hands together.

Kaosu sighed. "Yeah. I guess we'll have to. And what the hell you talkin' about, stronger than me? I will slam your face into the pavement!" He turned, and stopped. There was Tsai. "You..." He couldn't think of anything to say. "Lucky son of a...getting to sit in bed!" He ran over, smothering Tsai with a hug. "I knew you'd pull through, idiot."
Through all the death he was covered in, he couldn't help but smile. His first friend was okay. One of the few times Kaosu had ever sincerely smiled in a long time. He felt something odd, however. He pulled out of the hug, staring at his arm. "Hmm, pulling off some kind of human / machine thing here?"

"Eh, it's nothing, just something I got as a souvenir you could call it," he said touching the bandaged arm, it seemed to start unfolding by itself revealing a white arm with a black stripe going down. "It changed colour..." Tsai looked at it.
"It acts pretty much as well as my old hand but.." he moved it a bit and then let it fall to his side. "So anything I could do to help around here?"

Kaosu laughed. "You deserve a souvenir. It's...odd but...I guess cool." He sighed. "Yeah, you COULD have helped us out mate, but we're done. We got to pick up bodies. Hundreds of dead bodies. A ryoka...killed 'em all."
Then, Kaosu smiled. "Well, we were told to train by ourselves until further notice, so..." He left the sentence blank as he turned, showing Tsai himself, Raven, and Rikatsu. "So...we have a lot of free time, where we HAVE to train." He nudged Tsai. "Or we die, apparently. Hard decision, eh?"

Rikatsu snorts in Kaosu's direction, "As if... you'll never be able to even touch me." Rikatsu turns in time to see Kaosu embracing Tsai in heartfelt relief.
Rikatsu gives them a moment to catch up then approaches and bows before Tsai. "Well met, I must say it's good to see you made it." With a grin he offers, "You probably don't remember me, I'm Kitai Rikatsu; and even though we've never been introduced, I Believe you're Tsai?"

"Hard decision indeed, I'll get to working on a menu for us both if you think you need it," Tsai replied to Kaosu as he stared at the person approaching them. After the introduction he had made, Tsai bowed. "Thank you, Rikatsu-san, I owe you my life, if you need anything in the near future, ask me and I'll try my best to help you"

Haro smiled as he finished filling in the grave...alone. He had asked KAosu to help...but he had gotten no responce from him what-so-ever. He supposed that Kaosu was too happy about Tsai being alright to really care at the moment. He sighed and he threw the shovel to the side and he walked over to the group and he threw a smart salute at Tsai. "Good god, thanks for the help Kaosu." He growled, giving him a playful push to show he wasn't actually angry. "He moved the hair out of his eyes and he took a deep breath, letting the rain slip down his body some more, washing away the dirt and sweat. "Well, shall we go and do something? Or are we going to stand around here all day talking like a pack of bored teenagers?" He asked with a smirk as he looked at each individual face with a grin.

Tsai gave Haro a smirk. "Well I have been out of shape for awhile, maybe a little spar will get me going again," he laughed. He was seriously itching to fight, something that didn't seem very noble-like but he wasn't a noble by blood anyhow.
"So you guys up for it?"
