Yuzuki was bouncing from tree branch to tree branch, her mimics following around her as she went, sure it required a little more effort than actually walking but there were reasons for her doing it this way- One... the branches provided cover and obscured the vision of would be attacks. Two... if there was a attack there was a quick place to get out of site and once again it was easier to use thicker terrain for the purposes of hiding. At least that was the theory, seeing as she had never traveled outside of the village before, she was only applying what she thought would be common knowledge... or at least decent tactics. It also gave her some practice with her 'tree walking' technique. If she could get use to turning on and off that little bit of chakra at the bottom of her feet, she would probably be better off in the long run. There was also another reason, though the branches obscured the vision of her surroundings, being higher brough about it far more vantage points to access and use, as well as giving another view of said surroundings.
Yuzuki tossed another look over her shoulder, her mimics turning their heads to observe as well. She practiced silence, nothing was more obvious than a loudmouth ninja wearing bright colors and making an a** of themselves. With that thought, at least Mana wasn't shooting lightning again. If he felt so inclined to do so... Yuzuki would feel very much inclined to leave him behind and do the job with Kazin. She listened to what Mana was talking about with Chiyu... but choosing not to contribute to any conversation. Granted, this wasn't a conversation that she could add to anyway, with only one out of academy jutsu she really didn't have much under her belt to share with others. Despite her concentration on her footing, Yuzuki was often reaching out and steadying herself on the tree that she was on. It felt a little strange to be honest... bouncing from tree to tree instead of walking, but it was something that she told herself she was going to have to get use to. She wondered how much further Chiyu-sensei was going with them and when he was going to go. Oh well, he did when he did. As long as he remembered to give her the map before he went, everything should be okay... hopefully.

"I'll fall back a few feet, and take the rear." Kazin stated. "With my Byakugan I can detect any lifeforms close by. This will prevent anyone from sneaking up on us." ByakuganAs Kazin activated his ability, his vision once again filled with glowing beings of chakra. Anything with a life force will emit a glow that would easily show up in Kazin's 360 view. Kazin made sure not to stray too far, but he wanted to stay close enough to them as to not prevent good communication. (If my Byakugan can sense anything, could you give a heads up.)

Chiyu Doku
Did Somebody...
Chiyu looked down at Mana who was asking If he knew any lightning Jutsu. "Ehhh, some, but lightning is my second element. I only know a few, most likly non that you are able to learn at the moment' there ranks are too high" He said shrugging slightly. "My main element is water" He said to the Genin who was asking for training. "But I will think if I have anything that you will be able to learn; and tell ya if I think of something" A few faint mechanical clicks then happening after he spoke; which to the Genin where now common place and didn't seem the least bit odd like they first had been. "Alright everyone" Chiyu said before stopping form his stride, skidding on the ground slightly as he landed.

"Oh okay chiyu-sensei, i appreciate it!"Mana said sounding like a lil boy asking for a lollipop
"Why are you guys in the trees? Wouldn't it be faster and use less chakra if you guys just walk normally?" Mana said looking up into the tree branches as his teammates ran across the tree branches.

Yuzuki stopped when Chiyu indicated that he was about ready to go back. She jumped down and landed with a little less grace than he did, but still managed to stay off her butt. That would have turned her face red. She moved closer to him to retrieve the map and the right directions from him when Mana piped up and asked why they were moving through the trees. This time... she did bring her hands to her temples and rubbed her throbbing veins. She felt a head ache coming on. Yuzuki closed her eyes, eyebrow twitching slightly. "Think about it, Mana." Yuzuki replied not turning around to face him directly, she was paused in mid-motion after lowering her hands. "Traveling higher up is a bigger advantage then walking along the ground for a lot of reasons. The first reason is that you get a better vantage point of your surroundings, by doing that, you increase your likelihood of not getting ambushed. The second reason is that walking along the ground provides no cover if an enemy is lying in wait, in the trees you have decent cover from the foliage and stray branches. The third reason is that if we are ambushed, we can hide ourselves a lot quicker and easier than if we were walking along a strait path, in the open, along a road. Yes, we are likely to use a little more chakra, but in the end, its good practice to use that chakra because it teaches you more control, and the fact that it provides cover for us is a bonus... especially because we are Genin without an jounin escort. The less we are seen and the more we use the terrain to our advantage, the more likely we are to survive. We're not going to have a medic anymore, and that in itself should force us to be more resorceful and far more cautious. The wounded will be a bigger burden on the mission and could put the entire squad at risk; not only because we are slowed down by the wounded, but because our strength will be reduced by 1/3 of its original strength. That is why we should use the trees instead of making ourselves a target on the ground." Yuzuki sighed and looked up at Chiyu, almost a begging look in her eye to either take Mana with him or stick around so that when he got hurt being reckless that they had someone to heal him right away. She held out her hand. "Well send word out once we get back. Have a safe journey back, Doku-sensei."

Chiyu Doku
Did Somebody...
Chiyu sighed slightly as the two 'argued' amongst one another. "Well here is the map, it will be a few days to get there" He said pulling a map out of his pocket and handing it to Yuzuki. "You are in charge while I am gone" He said nodding slightly to the girl. "Dont get hurt too bad while I'm gone, I don't want to have to patch you up when i get back" He said shrugging slightly before letting out a drawn out hiss. The Ninja's house is circled so it shouldn't be too hard for you to find" He said looking at the Genin one more time before vanishing into a cloud of smoke.

"Damn u talk to much even for a girl" Mana said annoyed with the longest speech he had heard, "Alright, well continue this mission in the damn trees" He said with a bitter tone. Mana being the parkour expert he his is use to the sort of tree running skill, will the advantage he could have bolted his across the tree limbs and branches a** it was just nothing more than ground.

Kazin caught up with them and stopped briefly. "We'll see you when we get back sensei." Kazin replied. "Well, now that you have the map, make sure we stay in the right direction. We're relying solely on you Yuzuki. You have at least my trust. Let's get going, we are wasting sunlight." Kazin waited for them to continue. He was focusing very hard to keep a watchful eye for any unusual chakra.

Oh heaven help her... she felt an anerism coming along... Yuzuki could feel a twitch developing because of Mana. She wasn't sure if he'd survive this mission - not because of rogue ninja or taps, but because she was coming close to strangling him herself. Yuzuki made her way up the tree again, it wasn't as fast as Mana's performance, but she was still doing well concidering. Once in the trees she took out the map to familiarize herself with what was written on it and where they had to go. Both of Yuzuki's copies waited patiently for her to finish and continue onwards. She looked up at the sun after checking the time. 'Right... so the sun rises in the east... and sets in the west... North is over there. So... we need to head that way.' With the direction they needed to go covered, Yuzuki bounded over to Kazin to show him the map. Seeing as he was from the land of fire, she was hoping that he would be a little more familiar with where they were going. She motioned for the group to join her in some heavier foliage. She looked over at Kazin. "Hyuga-senpai, are you familiar with this area of the Fire Country? Between all of us, you know it better and I'm hoping that we could use you as a back up guide in case something happens. Are you comfortable with that? I'll lead to the boarder and if your comfortable, we'll let you lead the way with the map. The terrain will be more comfortable to you than it will be for us. If you have an issue with it, then let me know and we'll just stick to what we're doing." Yuzuki continued to study the map a little bit while they got their final plan ironed out. She wasn't going to waste too much time here. "Alright boys, lets be quick and quiet. We can talk along the way but lets try and keep it minimal, alright?" Yuzuki let the group study the map of a few more minuted before folding it up and placing it in the front of her abdomen guard. She started to leap from branch to branch. Her copies following her lead and scrabling and zig-zagging around her.

Mana silently followed his teammates as they lead the way to the fire country, he had never been to the fire country before so everything was new to him. Mana had to release his over built chakra by releasing it from each step he took on the branches leaving a small dented foot prints behind him.

"Yes. I am somewhat familiar with this area. This is the area that we traveled through to get here. If we get lost, just tell me, and i'll try to pinpoint where we are. Actually, that brings up a question. Where exactly are we going. You never specified." Kazin replied. Kazin was very careful to avoid treetop snags and unstable branches. He was very careful as he jumped from branch to branch. His ability was very helpful in sensing any thing that had chakra, but things such as traps or tripwires were still hidden from his sight. "Careful Mana, try not to leave too many prints behind. Just in case." Kazin directed at Mana with a friendly smile. He was being a little paranoid, but better safe than sorry. There was always a problem with rouge ninja, even whenever the wars were over.
