Alan stood silently for a second after his rant went completely unnoticed. The, he sighed. "Fine. Ignore me." His eyes narrowed. The situation had changed - the armored man's barriers had blocked off the valuables he was afraid of damaging with fire, and Alan was of the mind to do something rash.
He looked over to Mushu, and nodded. "Let's raise a conflagration."
Then, walking slowly, he advanced on the armored man. "Fira!" A large orb of flame appeared above his head and slammed down on the location where Louis was standing. By the time it impacted, another orb was already beginning to form. Alan was going all out, channeling as much magic as quickly as he could into his fire spells. "Fira!" The second orb slammed to the ground.

The renegade ronin stepped out of a dark portal and into the Underworld, taking in the scent of sulfur with a grin on his face.
"Ahh~ Nothing like the smell of sulfur to remind you that you're technically in Hell."
~Why are we here, Cory? Hades will not offer you his power a second time.
Cory smiled a little before saying aloud, "Stop jumping to conclusions, both about being offered power and about even asking for it to begin with. I'm here to ask the big guy questions..." The ronin looked over his shoulder, grinning as he added, "... And to apparently take care of this." Cory summoned the Revblade to his hand, causing it to vanish from sight before impacting with the tree back by the train, and slid into stance.
Before him was the pieces to a Guard Armor, slowly beginning to assemble it's complete form. The rogue, however, wasn't about to give it the time it needed to assemble. He charged the Heartless and swung down with the Revblade, attempting to destroy a hand only to have the hand grasp his weapon. Hook... The ronin placed his free hand on the weapon. Line... The Indomitable Will wrapped itself around the blade as Cory started to push back against the Heartless. "And sinker!" He revved the engine on it weapon, the combination of Engine Crusher and Indomitable Strike tearing through the Heartless' hand.
Cory was then sent flying by the Guard Armor's other hand, landing with a slide before grinning at the one-armed Heartless. "What's the matter, mid-boss? Wasn't expecting that?!" the ronin was about to charge again when he noticed the blue orbs of fire floating around him. "Hmm?... Oh crap." The orbs moved in at Cory, missing him as he burst from sight only to reappear above the Guard Armor. Indomitable covered his arms and Revblade as he placed his free hand on the handle again, swinging down at the Heartless. It crumbled to the ground from the hit, but was far from defeated. Using it's stunned state to his advantage, Cory scanned his surroundings before finding the source of the orbs from earlier.
"Knew it. Invisibles." A white glint of light exploded from Cory's position, passing through each of the five Invisibles before finding its way back to the Revblade, gripped firmly in Cory's hand at his new position on the other side of the Invisibles. He turned just in time to see three of the five vanish into Darkness as well as the remaining two charge at him. He managed to block all of their sword blows, his skill with a blade much higher than their own. However, the problem was when they dispersed, revealing that the Guard Armor has arisen and charged an energy ball. Indomitable Will surrounded his body before solidifying into the ethereal samurai armor just in time to take some of the blast. Cory was still sent backwards as the armor shattered, sliding to a stop just as the Invisibles continued their assault. Tch, this is getting me nowhere fast.
Ice began to gather around the Revblade as he jumped back from the Invisibles, swinging the sword and sending ice crystals at the Invisibles. While the attack itself wasn't very powerful, the Heartless' speed dropped suddenly. "Gotta love that Hoarfrost!" The renegade jumped in between the two Heartless, his sword blurring through their forms just before they vanished into Darkness.
It was then that he was struck directly by the Guard Armor's energy blast, sending him crashing into a wall and dropping his Revblade. He slid down to the ground and fell to his knees, staring up at the Guard Armor as it charged another energy blast. A grin came across the ronin's face as the energy blast came for him... Only to strike the wall behind him. He burst forward, striking the main body of the Guard Armor with his fist as his entire body became engulfed in the Indomitable Will. Again he burst past the Heartless, striking once more. Over and over he struck at the Armor, each strike lifting it slightly more into the air until finally it was a good twenty feet off the ground. Finally, Cory appeared above his target, Revblade in hand and burning brightly with Will.
"Cataclysm Mk.III!"
He struck the Guard Armor and sent it crashing to the ground, the resulting shockwave destroying the rest of its limbs. Cory burst back down to the ground, dismissing the Revblade as he fell to one knee. "Dammit... Having darkness in your heart can be quite troublesome at times..." He looked up at the group of Invisibles that had just arrived, staring them down as the Indomitable Will faded from his body. "Well? What are you waiting for? Bring it on!"

"Nah, they've had there fun- outta here, kiddies."
With that, the Invisibles vanished, and Hades appeared in there place, smirking. "I gotta admit, rather impressed. Had them hold back since you didn't have the Olympus stone," he said, looking at Cory with a rather amused sneer. "But seems this place ain't affecting you as fast as normal. Any second now, though. So, what brought you to my house, squeaky? I just answered that other chicka's questions. Lemme tell ya, you sure know how to pick'em..."

The fighter suddenly stood up, possibly surprising people from the movement. But that didn't matter to him. After so much thought in a short amount of time, his mind had finally settled.
...He had finally decided...

Cory grinned up at the deity, staying down on his knee before saying, "Nah, sorry to say but the Curse of the Underworld has been kicking my *** since that armor hit me. You think one hit like that would cripple a guy who traded blows with Saix?" The rogue attempted to get up, falling back to one knee with a chuckle. Can't even stand back up...
He grinned up at the god from behind his bangs as he said, "I could take that as a compliment, but I don't pick them. They come to me, with the exception of Timmy. Based on that knowledge, I really have no idea what I'm doing." The ronin thrust the Revblade into the ground and used it as a cane to help him back to his feet. "As for what brought me here... I need to ask some questions. those other Earthlings have split up, and I need to know where the rest of them went."

"Well, when you present the evidence like that," Hades retorted to the kid's earlier rebuttal, only to listen in on what he had to say. It was, of course, at that point that Hades saw the immediate potential.
"You know the routine, kiddo," Hades responded, leaning against the nearby wall and looking at his nails as he spoke, all the while grinning that knowing grin. "You want something from me? You gotta be prepared to give something up. Now, what do you have that I would even want? You're already my honorary minion when I need a little muscle- unless you'd like to forfeit that little Drive technique?"

"My calling is my path," she reassured him, sitting opposite him at the table, though she didn't grab anything to eat. Rather, the shadow of her hood seemed to reveal that she was gazing at the food, a wistful tone to her voice. "I suppose I did 'choose' my path, but... I chose it without knowing or caring what it came to. It was not the finish line, but that path itself that I swore myself to."

"So, Nicholas, now that you have eaten, what say you to some training?" the woman spoke as the Guado cleared off the table and put it away, thus clearing the entirety of the hall. However, she had opened a corridor, signaling that they would be practicing elsewhere.

"Heh, always up for a bargain, huh? Fine, I had something in mind anyway to get rid of." Cory tried to catch his breath, his weakened state being enhanced by the Underworld's curse. "You've got the choice between all the light in my Heart, or you can go ahead and scratch the clause from the last agreement involving Zeba's protection. Your choice, Blue, and I'd say both are pretty hefty offers for just some information."

"Eh, light's useless to me. Can't do a thing with it, really," he muttered, getting to his full height and 'walking' over to the Ronin (it appeared more like sliding across the ground, really).
"Alright, bub. You get all the information I have on the pesky Earthling's new location and where they're headed, and I get to scratch the Zeba addendum off your last deal," he said, holding out his hand to shake with Cory. "Though, dunno what made you change your mind so quick about the chicka, s'only been a few hours. Not my problem."

The ronin stared at the hand for a moment before adding, "I want all information on all of the Earthlings. I don't care what you told Alice, but if you know something about Mateus' host, the deal is null and void, and Zeba is once again removed from all plans you may have cooking. Besides, how am I supposed to be your sword against these blithering idiots if I don't know where they all are?"

Hades withdrew his hand for a moment, rubbing his chin in thought as he glanced up at the 'sky' of the Underworld. He seemed to be muttering to himself, contemplating the pros and cons of the conditions. After a few moments of this-
"Well, that's assuming that Mateus' host is an Earthling of course," he said before shrugging, holding his hand out. "Alright, here's the new deal: you get all the information I have on all the known Earthlings, their locations and destinations, and heck, I'll even throw in what I know about Mateus' host- including the stuff I didn't tell that chicka of yours- even if he's not an Earthling. In return, I get to scratch the Zeba addendum in our last agreement."
"I specify 'known' Earthlings because, hey, if I don't know about'em, I can't tell ya 'bout'em," he explained, raising his eyebrows. "Either way, now I don't have to worry about that ninja-baby, so deal's fine with me."

The rogue took Hades' hand, a mischievous grin on his face as he said, "The only summons I've seen are with Earthlings, and that's around twenty so far. Mateus is with an Earthling, that much I am willing to bet my life on."
~And all it cost you was Zeba's safety. Do you know no shame?
Cory smiled inwardly at his summon's comment before speaking again to Hades, "So Zeba's allowed in your plans. Tell me what you know, Blue, and don't skimp on the juicy details."

As the blue and black flames covered both of their shaking hands, Hades smirked, listening to Cory's question.
"Nada, bay-bee," he said, laughing loudly. "I don't know who Mateus' host is, I don't know where the first group is headed- heck, didn't even know the kiddies split up to begin with! All I know is that last I checked, they were on the border of Halloween Town and that freak's castle. That's all of the information I have, unless you want a retelling of the last time I saw them."
"Now, if you wanted me to find out, well- heh, that'll cost extra," he said, walking away for a bit, still chuckling. "Geez, I make a killing off of you, ya know- HAH! Killing! Oh, geez, I kill myself sometimes- HAH!"

The rogue couldn't help but smile as Hades wandered off, the slow maniacal laugh following shortly afterward. The laughter rang off of the walls of the Underworld, like that of a man who just lost his mind.
~Cory? Are you alright?!
Cory's laughter came to a halt as he stared at the god through his manic eyes and shouted, "Hades! Wasn't it always your goal to defeat Hercules?!"
~Wh... What are you talking about?

"Ah, the stereotypical taunt," Hades responded, turning to face Cory with his arms cross, his sneer still in place. "No, just knocking off the older bro from the throne. Sure, Hercules is all that really stands in my way, but I'm done with hired help."
"Three times I've tried to get someone else to do the job, and three times they've all failed," he explained, rolling his eyes. Who the third person was, he never mentioned. "Sure, Auron came close to defeating him, but Herc was weak at the time. A brat like you? Hah! I'd sooner place bets on that little girl you sent."
