Ooh, you hav a lovely style, that you do-- but you could definitely benefit from trying out softer looks. the RnA Kyo's shading looks rather awkward around the face, and the hand feels a little flat. Still, really good stuff! :3
I have a lot of little silly little drawings I need to post that I drew while I was in Italy, Kaoru the luchador, Kyo screaming at Michelangelo's David, stuff I hope you enjoy. ;3

If not, just ignore me. Anyway, yes I see what you mean. It's not that I'm incapable of softer, more realistic portraits, I'm just a lazy-a** bugger who likes sketching just as much as she likes actual drawing. Hmm... Come to think of it, I'm not sure if I've done an actual realistic portrait of Kyo. I'll add that onto my to-do list when I have the time. -_- Portraits tend to take me between 10 to 15 hours depending on the subject's hair, whereas sketching is rather brief. 8D Do post your drawings when you get the chance. They sound amusing.

I tried to draw Kyo from memory, this is the end result x3  I tried to color it, but ehh, the hair turned out too bright xP  yea I know it sux Dx
