Hataki took off running.

Terry nodded and took off running after Hataki. The hunters wer egone back at the cabin. Inside, dishes had been broken, herbs had been spilled, and food stolen.
Terry shook his head. "Dammit... This doesn't look good at all..." He started searching in the back rooms.

Hataki looked at everything. "Hati. Come out pup." He heard a whimper. She was under the bed bleeding. He pulled her out slowly. "Terry I found her. She is hurt."

Terry silently swore. "Damned hunters..." He managed to find some bandages. "Keep her calm while I treat her." He examined the wound, rubbed some gauze on it, and then wrapped it in the bandages. "There. She should be feeling better in a few minutes." He stood up and looked around the bedroom. "...I'm gonna have to put this place in a kekkai until it's safer."

He gently picked her up. "Ready to go pup." She licked his hand.

Terry smiled. "That's good." He picked up a sealed crystal from the closet. "Here's the kekkai. You two head outside while I set it up." He cautioned.

Once they were outside, he pulled the seal off teh crystal and set it on the ground. He then ran outside just as the barrier formed. "Well, that takes care of that." He sighed and looked around the area. "Really those hunters made a mess of things. Well...at least it'll all grow back after some time."

Terry sighed. "Yes. The sooner we leave, the better. Huh?" He stopped in mid-step as he heard something. "...W-What's that song?" It was familiar. Too familiar. It made his blood run cold with fear. "Hataki...run."

Terry was running alongside Hataki. His fear was empowering his body. "... ...Monks...demon-slaying monks..." He avoided tripping on a root. "...sensed my kekkai. Will be there soon. Using shikigami. Run. Run fast."

Hataki stopped. "They will follow us. them might kill Kenshin. We can't risk him." He said growling.

Terry realized that Hataki was right. He stopped running. "Don't Stop. I'll hold them here. I'm the most human here. I can stall them for a bit."
