 After staring at each other for what seemed like forever, Palian was the first to look away. Frost colored eyes downcast, he pulled away slightly from her embrace. It hurt him to do so, but another ache was forming in his chest. "And I, you. But I cannot linger long. I fear what may happen if I do not locate him." Closing his eyes, he pulled her close enough to whisper in her ear. "Another time perhaps. Now, its business." Pulling away again, he took a deep breath and dispelled the image of the altars and chanting figures, who went silent after he had broken free. "Kiko," he murmured as he turned away. "Would you. . . come with me. . . please?" He didn't require her help, nor was it her job to perform this task, but he wanted her to see him as he was meant. He wanted her to see his masters side. Inside he knew she sided with him and that she also sympathized with Nemo, but she didn't truly understand why the boy was so frightened to let his slave free to begin with. Not really. She had tasted it, heard it, even felt the tremble of fear, but she did not see enough to know it. This last might be enough for her to truly know what the dream demon was. And it might be what could destroy him. (dun dun duunn!! >.<)

 "Sorry got carried away there." Tsukiko said with a nervous smile and laugh. She wrapped her arms around herself it was cold outside with the fall air. "Sure," Tsukiko smiled, but was hesitant. She wondered if she should tell him she couldn't use her powers. She was worried that he wouldn't let her come with him if he knew.
She debated with herself. Finally she lost against herself, and decided to go ahead and tell him. Even if she wouldn't need them, it would be better to tell him, then to wait and make a mess. "Um..Palian do you remember when I told you about the witching hour. Well my birthday is tomorrow, and well I can't use my powers right now." Tsukiko winced at her own words.
"I'm scared if I use them I'll lose control, and end up killing someone."
Tsukiko bit her lip and kept her eyes shut. She waited, why did she feel like she needed to tell him. 'Stupid, stupid, stupid.' she told herself over and over. Why didn't she just stay in bed with the nightmares. At least they weren't real, and she could runaway. Yes running away sounded very nice right now. She bit her lip again, Tsukiko knew running away would get her no where.
"That doesn't matter though, Nemo needs you so lets get going," another nervous smile. 'Could I be anymore stupid,' she though to herself. If only she knew there was so much more she needed to know.

The demon before her stood straight as she pulled away. Though the fog had continued to grow thick and the chill making her shiver, he stood unaffected. In fact it was partly his fault. Palian was drawing energy from his surroundings. That added to the current early coolness made frost appear on the tips of grass and some of the trees leaves. He himself was cold as ice, but felt none of it. "I did not ask for you to come with me for you to use your powers," he stated flatly. "So don't worry about using them." His eyes averted from hers, looking around them. Closing both eyes, he tried to connect with his master. Normally this was an easy feat, but something was muffling their connection. After a moment he felt a feint tug and his tensed face relaxed a fraction. "This way," he announced softly. His frosty eyes opened again and he was off like a man with purpose. His stride was broad and so quickly gained ground. "Come on," he encouraged Tsukiko with a wave. (He seems distracted to me. What you think? >.<)

'At least I don't have much to worry about.' Tsukiko thought as she sprinted off to catch up with Palian. She made sure she kept up with him, and not to get in his way. She couldn't stand the silence though. Tsukiko knew he had a lot on his mind, and didn't want to take up any more of his time. After all she was happy enough to even be near him. She smiled gently though at the thought she wouldn't have to bother with her powers.
"I'm happy you where able to find my locket." She said, she wanted to just blurt out and ell him everything. 'A time, and a place Kiko, but not now.' she silently reminded herself. She was quiet though, if he didn't want listen to her then he didn't have to.
She kept her hands locked in the pockets of her jacket. Knowing that if they wasted anymore time it couldn't be good. So she kept herself from reaching out to hold his hand. No matter how much she wanted to. She loved him, so she would wait even if it was to just hold his hand. She smiled to herself, even in a situation like this, she was happy to be near him.
((Well he has a good reason to be right.))

 ♪ Fyte Ancell ♪
♪ Looking up into the sky, looking for the reason Why I'm here and why you can't be here ♪ "----! Wait up!" Fyte cried out as she ran after someone, laughing as she did. Catching up to them, she tackled them in a hug, sending both of them tumbling down to the ground. "----, if I'm ever lost, will you come and find me?" She asked the silhouette, looking up at their blank face.
"If you're lost, I will come to find you. No matter how long it takes, Fy." The silhouette promised, extending its pinky finger. Fyte stretched hers out, and hooked pinkies with the silhouette. Suddenly, it looked up, to somewhere far in the distance. "I have to go." it said urgently, standing up and almost running off. "Wait, ------!! Don't go!" She cried out, her outstretched hand just barely brushing against its shirt as it ran off. "Don't leave me!" She yelled as shadows began to swallow her up. Cold hands came out of nowhere to wrap around her, entangling her and muffling her cries as she struggled. She thought she saw warm golden eyes meet hers before everything went black.
"Oof!" Fyte yelled as she hit the floor. Looking up dazed, she could just barely remember her dream. Not the details, but just… She shivered, realizing that it was cold… extremely cold. "It doesn't usually get this cold at this time of year…" she murmured to herself, wrapping the sheets around her as she went to the window. Placing her hand upon it, she immediately gave a small yelp of surprise. There was a frost forming upon the windows, the glass feeling like it was made of ice. After she had made a decent spot to look of out of, she peered to the outside. Her eyes widened even more as she saw the trees and grass begin to turn white through the dense fog. I have to find out what's going on. Fyte concluded instantly, racing around her room change out of her pajamas. She was about to rush out of the door when a thought occurred to her. Turning around, she opened her window, squirming through it until she had gotten her legs out. With a push, she slid through her window and out into the cold morning, creating an air cushion to fall on. Once on the ground, she used her wind powers to shut her window before she headed off into the unusual fog.
Going around the building, she heard voices. One was unfamiliar, but the other… "Tsukiko?" Fyte called out hesitantly into the fog. She could barely see a foot in front of her! Not to mention the temperature seemed to drop a degree every minute. Still, she heard a boy's voice softly call out "This way." With nothing else to guide her, Fyte followed the couple blindly in the fog.♪ If you loose me somewhere, and your tears are in the air I will ring a bell until you feel me by your side ♪

Too distracted by his search, Palian merely grunted in acknowledgment. As they made short work of the campus grounds, he became aware of a presence drawing near. The frost had continued to appear around them, but melted back to its original state once they were about fifteen feet away. The demon was like a moving frost machine. He breathed in deeply, no sign of fatigue or discomfort slowing him. If anything, he seemed more energetic and far more solid than before. The normal glow or fuzziness that clung to him had all but disappeared. Abruptly, he stopped to peer at the trees. They had reached the edge of the campus. Beyond was a vast forest that hugged a cliff ridden mountain. Students had been warned to stay out unless they were with instructors, or traveled in groups. Hikers and rock climbers often scaled the lower levels of the mountain that was strewn with foot trails.

"Over here Fyte." Tsukiko called as she kept walking though the thick fog. She could barely see Palian, and hated she couldn't use her magic to light a fire or something. For once she felt human. Tsukiko wanted to laugh, how bittersweet it was. She buttoned her jacket up. Her second name meant snow, her whole town was buried under snow. She still hated the cold, but she would get over it.
Stopping next to Palian Tsukiko looked into the forest. "Is something wrong Palian?" She had a look of worry on her face, and did know why he stopped. Something already didn't feel right about this. "Where's Nemo," she asked quietly, Tsukiko didn't know how close was to the younger boy. She did know she didn't like Palian. Her head hurt with all these thoughts. She looked at Palian again, knowing his face wouldn't give her any answers like Ryo's did.
"Dang I knew I forgot something." Tsukiko muttered smacking herself in the forehead. How could she just go and break her promise to Ryo like that. She had promised him she wouldn't go neat Palian again. They agreed it would be for the better. Though Nemo was in danger apparently. So maybe it would be okay this once. She hoped Ryo would forgive her this time, he was all she had. She had Palian, but she felt it was a one sided love. More thoughts piled in her head, she could never asked questions. There where never time to find her answers it seemed. Always thing that had to be kept hidden.

She was still a little ways back from them, so she nearly crashed into Tsukiko's companion when they had stopped. Looking up, she gasped with surprise. What's Palian doing here? She wondered, peering past him to see the forest. She shivered due to the combination of the extreme cold and the foreboding forest. "Tsuki, do you know what's wrong? What happened to Nemo?" Fyte felt the need to whisper, in case her voice would shatter the eerie stillness to reveal something much more horrifying.♪ If you loose me somewhere, and your tears are in the air I will ring a bell until you feel me by your side ♪

 Ace got up and started to walk around campus for a bit trying to remember where everything was just to get a feel of the place and hoping to run into someone he knew "Man I hate this place...but it is my home." Ace says with a smirk. Ace starts to head over to an area separated from other people with a small tree to cover himself and a hill to lay upon

Standing deathly still, the demon closed his eyes and tilted his head as if listening. In his head, Palian had been practically chanting,'where is he?' over and over again. His face was tense with worry and a near edge of panic. It was never like this. He always felt connected to the boy. Like a safety net. Being distracted as he was, trying to locate his master, the dream boy nearly jumped out of his skin when Fyte practically ran into him. Whirling around to face her, he let loose a fierce growl. "Do not touch me," he warned lowering his eyes and voice once he realized she posed no threat. Turning back to look at the dense tree-line, he heaved a heavy sigh. "Someone has taken him. And they have the power to keep me from connecting to him," he explained after a slight pause to both the girls. "I must find him." Inside he was feeling a growing ache and it showed in his slumped shoulders. He had never felt so alone before. Whenever he joined the waking world he was always connected to his creator. It made him both irritable and a little frightened, though he wouldn't admit it. Without further notice, he shifted to his secondary form of the large white tiger. His paws crinkled in the frost as he used his nose to sense the general direction of Nemo. "Whatever you do from here on is at your own risk. But I advise you not to touch me. I'd hate for you to be drained of your life energy while I am opening all my energy channels," he stated softly. Then having said all he felt was needed, he began walking into the trees, the fog following in his wake. ( I know Sai. Me too. hehe *facedesk*)

"Come on Fyte." Tsukiko said grabbing her friend's hand. "We can't get lost here I've read about these forest before." Using all the power she had she created a small flame. For a mere moment her eyes flashed red and she coughed violently. "From what I've gotten out of it someone's taken Nemo. Palian's looking for him, he's a little stressed." She gave her friend a small smile after she spoke. Her small flame was all she could muster for the two of them to see in the foggy dark forest.
"I hope you not angry with me." She said quietly as she led the was for them. "I mean I've been acting rather stupid lately." Because locking herself in her room around most hours of the day was perfectly normal. As well as skipping most of her classes for the past 3 days. She wanted to tell her friend everything from her killing her loved one's to maybe even going crazy. Right now she had to worry about getting them though here with out getting themselves kill.
"Don't worry though everything going to be alright." Tsukiko didn't even know she said this out loud. She watch Palian easily, 'Please brother help us find Nemo.' A silent prayer she felt she needed to say. She wanted to tell Palian it would be okay, but let the feeling die. She was a witch, and had to remember that.

♪ Looking up into the sky, looking for the reason Why I'm here and why you can't be here ♪ She let loose a terrified squeak and a long string of "I'm sorry!" as Palian verbally lashed out at her. His edgey-ness was rubbing off on her; anxiety seemed to fill every bit of her with dread. Dread for what was to come soon. And her feelings had been dead on. Her hand flew up to her mouth as Palian explained to Tsukiko and her what had happened. "No… not… why?" she whispered softly, barely more than the sound of wind blowing gently. She wasn't expecting an answer, since it wouldn't change her plan of action.
Her eyes widened with amazement as she watched Palian transform into a white tiger, swallowing hard at the sight of his power. Without thinking for a second, she followed him into the forest. Tsukiko grabbed her hand, guiding her through the dark. Watching her friend conjure up a flame, she didn't miss the spark of red in her eyes and her coughing fit. "Tsuki, are you alright? I thought you controlled water." Fyte asked worriedly, looking at her friend's face. She didn't know what was going on with her friend, but now was not the time to press for every detail.
"And I'm not mad at you. I've just been worried. I don't know you that well, nor for that long, but I feel like you just haven't been yourself." Fyte replied, her voice just as quiet as her friend's. She was sure Tsukiko also had skeletons in the closet that she didn't want anyone to see, but Fyte just couldn't shake the feeling like Tsukiko wanted to get some of it off of her chest. Still, the other girl's small optimism was contagious, and those four words rang in her head like a mantra. Everything will be alright. Fyte silently prayed that those words would hold true.♪ If you loose me somewhere, and your tears are in the air I will ring a bell until you feel me by your side ♪

Tsukiko wanted to tell her friend something Palian wasn't always like this, but she didn't know that. She still didn't know a lot, about him nor did she care. Instead she smiled at her friend. It was all she felt she could do after all. "Yeah my powers aren't really working right now." It wasn't all lie it just wasn't the whole story. She looked down at the flame, she hadn't burnt her hand since Ryo taught her the spell when she was 13. Now she winced with almost ever move she made. At least she was warmer.
"Well my favorite color is white and blue, I had an older brother, I was hated by mostly the whole village I lived in. I've been a witch since I was 3, and I haven't seen my father since my brother died. That's about every thing you need to know about me." She gave her friend another smile. "Well for right now at least." She need optimism right now as her attention turned back to Palian.
"Anything new Palian." She called out looking up. She stumbled over a root of a tree. She whimpered and shook her hand. She had let go of Fyte's hand when she tripped so she wouldn't take the other girl down with her. She kept walking as she looked at her hand. She look at her hand in the dark, sure enough her skin was burnt nicely. She whimpered again, but kept walking.
"Fyte can you walk beside me I'm going to have to use my other hand to light the way." She muttered into the dark. With in a moment another flame popped up in the other hand. She coughed again with her eyes flashing. God she felt useless right now, she would ignore the pain until after they helped Nemo. It was all she could do anyway.

♪ Looking up into the sky, looking for the reason Why I'm here and why you can't be here ♪ Fyte looked a bit dumbly at her friend. She hadn't been expecting the onslaught of information she'd just shared, but tried to remember it nonetheless. "I-I guess I should tell you mine too." She didn't think this was quite the place to be telling her short biography, but hey, what the heck? "I don't quite have a particular favorite color, but pink is toward the bottom of the list. I don't have a blood family that I know of, but I do have my family at the orphanage where I grew up. I lost my memory when I was 10. Other than that, there's not that much to me." She gave a smile to her friend, though it had a tint of sadness to it.
As her friend tripped, Fyte tried to catch her, with both her hands and wind, but she was a second too late. "Tsuki, are you okay?" Fyte asked quietly, kneeling. She heard a whimper of pain, but couldn't see the wound. As they both stood up again, Fyte let another small gasp escape from her lips. "Your hand is burnt! Is that from the fire? Here, hold your hand over here. And I'm not taking no for an answer." Fyte lectured lightly, created a bubble of wind around the flame. She held her hands around it, encircling it with wind until it was like she was holding a ball of light. She made sure that there was no wind to blow out the flame on the inside of the barrier. "You rest your hands. Put water on them, right now, Tsuki. I can't believe you'd do that to yourself," she said, her motherly or older sisterly instincts kicking in. "Take care of yourself better." she whispered, trying to catch up to Palian's fleeting form ahead of them.♪ If you loose me somewhere, and your tears are in the air I will ring a bell until you feel me by your side ♪

 ♥♡ Alessa Kelull ♡♥
♡♥ Broken up, deep inside, but you won't get to see the tears I cry ♥♡ She was dreaming, something she rarely did. It was a bright sunny day, and her dad was walking with her, but not holding her hand. The fact that he didn't confused her, cause he used to always hold her hand. Lately, he hadn't touched her, really. If he did happen to make contact with her, he retreated so fast it seemed like she was some germ. "Daddy, where're we goin'?" Alessa asked, swinging her hands cheerfully. "…You'll see." He replied quietly, not picking up on Alessa's attitude. They walked for several blocks through a residential area before the road lead away from the town. Soon, they came to a gated area, the walls too high for her to see over. Pressing a buzzer, her father merely said, "Stantley Kelull, here for my appointment with Mr. Eldred?"
"One moment please." A male voice returned, and the gates opened. Soon after, a man older than her father appeared, with a smile upon his face. "Ah, Mr. Kelull, good to see you. And you must be Alessa." Kneeling, he gave Alessa a pat on the head before standing back up. "Are you sure about this, Mr. Kelull? You won't have any regrets?" Confusion flooded the younger Alessa, who looked back and forth between the two men. "Daddy…?" she whispered quietly. "No, no regrets." Her father said, colder than she had ever remembered him be. He turned away then. "Daddy, where're we going?" Innocently, she tried to follow him, but Mr. Eldred held onto her. Looking up at the older man, he shook his head sadly. Her father merely replied, "We're not going anywhere. You're staying here." Having made that clear, he continued on. No last goodbyes, not even a glance back at her. "Daddy, don't leave me here! DAAAAADDDYYYYY!!!" Alessa's wails followed the retreating figure of the man she once loved, tears streaking down her young face. A hollow ache began to eat away at her chest, before it erupted into an all consuming flame of pain.
Alessa gasped for air, clutching her chest where Raine had stabbed her clone. It gave a ghostly ache, and she had to bite her lip to keep from crying out loudly. "Nngh…" she moaned, her head resting against the edge of the bed. Beads of sweat glistened on her forehead as she tried to fight the pain, clenching her teeth and the blanket upon her bed. She must have unconsciously pulled the blankets closer to her, cause she heard a sleepy chirp. "I…uugh!" What began as a reassurance turned into another cry of pain as Alessa had tried to talk to Birdie. After that wave of pain had passed, she looked up at Birdie. "I'm fine. Really…"
Her cell phone blared right in her ear, causing a string of curses to exit from her mouth. "WHAT?!" She nearly yelled, grumpy that someone was calling at a godforsaken hour. She regretted it instantly, grinding her teeth to keep the pained moan in. "Emergency meeting, right now! It's urgent, Alessa!" Nick's voice said quickly, no doubt holding the phone a good foot from his ear. He knew she always had a temper at people waking her up too early. "Fine. Be right there, bye." She said curtly, snapping her phone shut. Standing up from her position next to the bed, she looked apologetically at Birdie. "Sorry for waking you earlier, but now I have to go. It's important. You coming along?" she asked the small animal, nodding her head towards the door.♥♡ I'm torn into pieces, but I don't cry on the outside anymore…♡♥ [[Ace, you can decide if Birdie tags along or not. I'm not sure what to have him do… And I figured if the forest was dangerous, there'd have to be some sort of result to kids just walking into it.]]
