Orin saw the clenched hand and guilt filled him. "I'm sorry I freaked, I was scared. You were running after the man and I was afraid he would hurt you. And then I remembered about the council. I didn't want you, I didn't want to lose you completely. I thought if I could block the memory of the man I could save you from losing all your memories." Orin tried to explain. His chest felt tight and he felt tears in his eyes.

Mikage listened to Orin, he understood where the other was coming from, he truly did. "Orin...I'm not the same. That man wouldn't have been able to hurt me. I'm sure of that. Besides I destroyed his camera's memory card. All I needed to do was find him and make sure he didn't back up his images. That's all I needed to do." he said his fist clenching and un-clenching. "If all the evidence is gone, all he had to worry about was society calling him crazy or insane."

"How do you know he wouldn't hurt you, we don't know if he had a weapon and he was bigger than you."Orin exclaimed. "It won't stop him if hes seen now, and going after him would only provoke him." he continued. "I'm sorry, i'm so sorry..." Orin whimpered.

"I know how to fight and size doesn't matter when it comes down to it" he stated calmly...letting go of Orin, he walked over to the swings sitting down. Mikage collected his thoughts. He knew Orin did this with protecting him in mind, but...its not supposed to like that! Mikage is supposed to protect Orin...if thee other happened...he doesn't know what to do.

"How am I supposed to know that you haven't been around you've been gone for years!" Orin exclaimed. He watched as Mikage moved over to the swing set giving a shuddered breath. "What do you want me to do...?" Orin questioned.

At the words of being gone...he sighed. "Sorry, your right. I haven been gone for a long time." he muttered more to himself it seemed. At the question Mikage shook his head, "I don't want you to have to worry about me..." he said even knowing he'll get yelled at by the other.

"Your my friend why wouldn't I worry about you. I care about you Mi-kun... more than you know." Orin whispered softly. He fought down the urge to tell the other how much he cared about him. He wanted Mikage to know that he really truly loved him.

Hearing the word friend...it was like an arrow shot through him...and not a happy one either. He doubted Orin would return his feelings... I mean...it was weird right? Mikage loved his best friend whose been around since who knows how long? If his feelings were revealed, he was sure that they're friendship would end. But he could stop the quiet words, "I wish it wasn't just that though..." slip through his mouth. His face flushed and he looked down at the ground, hiding his face from the other.

Orin looked up surprised as he heard the soft spoken words. Orin couldn't believe the other's words. "Wasn't just what, do you want it to be more?" Orin questioned. "I...I thought I wouldn't ever.... Mi-kun...." Orin broke off. "What do you mean?" Orin questioned.

Hearing the surprise, the questions, he sighed. If Orin was ever going to have a reason to be pissed enough to hate him or not talk to him for a long time, now would be a good as time as any. Standing up he faced Orin, no hesitation, his movements slow, his lips brushing against Orin's in a light kiss. "That's what I mean." he said pulling away, waiting for the others reaction, doubting Orin would accept it.

Orin watched as Mikage got off the swing and moved towards him. Eyes widened softly in surprise but also in happiness. Orin gave a soft smile before launching himself at Mikage wrapping his arms around the others neck as he pressed his lips against Mikage's. "I love you so much." Orin admitted softly.

Mikage waited for something to happen, only seconds, but an eternity seemed to pass. Looking at Orin, he only caught a blur then something on top him. Surprised by the sudden hug, Mikage fells back against the ground, Orin on top of him. Unable to say anything, he was suddenly kissed...then the words hit him... "...you don't hate it or anything..."

"Hate it? Never" Orin protested viciously. "I've always liked you alot, but I never wanted to say anything because I was afraid you would go away and when you did it only made my fears worse." Orin admitted softly.

Mikage to him, holding him close, then he remembered what he said when he first arrived. "Is this why you said your not letting me leave ever again?" he said with a small smirk wrapping his arms around the other gently.

Orin blushed when Mikage questioned him about the things he had said when Mikage had first gotten home. "Yes...." Orin said softly. "I didn't want to bear being without you again." Orin said his blush growing.
