Muse was surprised she could sing, not to mention her voice was beautiful. Looking at the woman, without her armor, in now normal clothing it was a little strange. As the sunset fell over the horizon it lit up her hair and added a bit more beauty to her. His cheeks were a light pink, he couldn't stop staring at her. Sitting there quietly on the couch he quickly pulled out a small flute and began to play the same song, along with her, trying to match her melody. Of course he reconized it, that song that was, it was one Veronica often sang when she was afraid or nervous. As he played a small tear slid down his cheek remembering that the flute was a gift from her for becoming a full fledged knight. Yet once she finished Muse continued to play, a soft song that was sweet and low. He was very talented with a flute and loved playing it when he got the chance. =========================== Brillux listened quietly and smirked. He could tell this woman would make a wonderful mother by the way she caressed her belly and how she spoke. Leaning back the skeleton knight stared out into the sunset colored sky. He hoped there would be a town soon, for their sake. Women in her, and the driver's, condition needed as much nourishment as they could get. ((you can have them enter the town where the two characters are atm. I'm not sure what Winter, or I, have in mind but maybe someone could cook up something to get all our characters involved somehow. ^^))

She was startled by the sudden sound of a flute and turned to look at him, something about that flute was familiar but she could not place it. Pushing herself off the sill, she walked over having seen his sadness, she frowned and placed a hand on the flute, most likely interrupting him. "I am sorry for your lost." she sincerely told him, she had not once said it or at least she did not believe she had.
Veronica was a wonderful person, she touched the lives of everyone around her there was no doubt. Sarah knew this man, Muse, had loved her if not still loved her. His connection to her was most likely more so difficult than any could imagine, she knew the feeling yet she could not allow herself to show it, she had known Veronica long enough to know how she was about sadness.
"You play beautifully." she smiled, hoping to cheer him up. "I shall not sing that song again. I had not realized you were awake." she added now gently.
[OOC: Most likely it would be best to have Sarah and Muse meet the band of travelers the following day while traveling. Unless of course you just want to bring the characters into town and by all means do so, I just would think you would still have to wait for the next day to even meet the two characters in the Inn.]

Muse looked up at her and wiped his face. Yes he did miss Veronica, but knew that their love story had ended all those years ago. Looking up at the woman who was with child, he shook his head gently. " Oh no..you don't have to. You've got a beautiful voice..it's very calming." he replied blushing slightly. Taking note of her bumb he turned his attention to it. " Ahh...you can see your bump a bit better now with your armor off....are you scared?" he asked looking up at her. " Oh and..could I feel the baby? I know it's probably not my right to ask but I would at least like to feel the child every now and again."

Stardust Drifter ((you can have them enter the town where the two characters are atm. I'm not sure what Winter, or I, have in mind but maybe someone could cook up something to get all our characters involved somehow. ^^)) (Where you guys at? I sorta stopped paying attention to that half of your posts. xD I'm sure with a little brainstorm with could come up with something to band us all together even with Winter's character experiencing a normal pregnancy. We could have the mystery town you guys are in, be the town that sprang up at the foot of the wizard college that way we'd pass through on our way there.)

As they road along the dirt path Mina continued to jabber on, she even had her bag sitting on her belly as she showed Eric a few of the materials and candles she had with her. She was holding a yellow candle with blue stripes, telling him about how it's flame would flicker between the colors and allow her to plant a subliminal message depending on what patter she had previously implanted into the candle. "it's kinda easy to make but still requires some prep time, I've got like 20 different ones, each with..." She stopped and looked around, they had come out of the forest two candles back and it was only now that she noticed. She grabbed the map and looked at it then the surrounding area. She blushed in embarrassment. "U-uh, I think I may have gotten us lost." She leaned over some to look at the shrinking forest behind them. She sat up and looked back at the map. "well, not totally at least, we're still on the map, we, came out of the east side of the forest." She looked around, she saw a glow in the distance. "over there." She pointed, looking down to the map. "uh, we don't have far to go an-" She blushed as her stomach let out a loud gurgle. "o-oh, well it's a good thing we're near town, I'm, getting kinda hungry." She giggled some.

She stared at him blankly at first.
Was she scared? It was a question that had had an answer since the first day. She was terrified. She had never wanted to be a mother, never imagined having children whatsoever, and then without warning she was with child. Sarah looked from him to her stomach, it was more visible without armor, when she first learned about it she tried hard to keep it from being noticed only because of how it happened was she ashamed. She had never once looked at it different but now after resolving everything with the man who had a hand in it.
She was scared. She did not know how to even be a mom. How was she to act. The pains were the last thing on her mind.
As she was about to answer he asked her to touch her stomach, she was a bit hesitate about him, he did just grab her earlier that morning. She felt weird when people asked to touch her to feel the baby and she had plenty of people ask. After a moment she decided to agree, "Alright.." she sat down beside him and took his hand and placed it upon the small bump.

Muse felt a kick. He hadn't really been able to feel much when he had touched her belly earlier, the woman's armor hid it almost completely. Yet feeling her soft, yet firm, round belly his heart skipped a beat. As the child gave another kick to his hand he smiled warmly. This was so odd, yet Muse liked the feeling that he was going to be a father. Sarah probably wasn't really as excited about this, but it was a feeling he couldn't really describe. " Wow..it's very active..heh. Ooh! Here! right here! Feel this Sarah! I thought I felt a hand!" he said with loving excitement as he took her hand and gently placed it upon where he thought he had felt the child's hand. Holding her's gently they both could feel the child reaching for them with both it's hands and feet. " It's funny...and strange. Whenever I think about the baby or feel it's soft kicking, I'm reminded how innocent and fragile life is. I've made up my mind now." he said turning to her smiling warmly. " I'm going to not only protect you, but the child. I want to see this innocent life become someone great. I also want to thank you..for helping me remember the reason why I wanted to become a knight in the first place." Gently removing his hand Muse stood up and faced Sarah. Giving the salute of respect that every knight learned to give their commanders he bowed. " Sarah, I will be here for you Ma'am! Just ask for anything..please. I want to make it up to you." he said softly bowing his head before her. ================================= Brillux grunted a little, whatever was going on woke him up from the magical slumber he had put himself in. Though he didn't really need sleep, 'going inatimate' really helped his bones. When he did so, Brillux looked like a statue. It was also a fun way of scaring people. Yet he didn't really feel like talking and watched quietly. To be honest, there really wasn't any words that he felt needed to be said to the group. They had everything under control. All he cared about was protecting not only the Warlock but the other two as well. He actually was grateful to them, at least he would get to experience another adventure. Yet he would never admit he liked their company, after all he had a reputation to keep!

(Thank you Zero.) Roxanne quickly seconded the opinion of Mina's belly. "I don't care if we're on the map or not, as long as we get somewhere with beds." Roxanne said from within the carriage. "The school can wait till tomorrow, I'm not roughing it for another night on the ground." Shuffling through her bag, she pulled out a worn travel cloak and passed it off to Brillux. "Despite what I think of you, not everybody shares such feelings so we best hide your undead nature until we book a room and get settled in." The cloak at one time had been very nice but time had done its damage to the fabric. Torn in multiple places the fabric had faded from black to a grey-ish color but luckily the hood remained intact.

" Aye that's probably a good idea lass. Thank ye!" he said taking the cloak and draping himself with it. It was a bit big but fit him well. " I suppose ye 'aven't got a scythe in there eh? Maybe I could Grim Reaper it up and scare the heck outta people while you're all busy." he mused dryly. When they got out of the cart, he would stay near the group and would keep from talking to people, or taking off the hood unless they were all alone in a safe room. After all it wouldn't be smart having paladins, clerics, and other people with Light Magic after you.

"Don't worry, my bag isn't exaclty a castle." Mina said to Roxanne. She steered the carriage towards the town, listening to Rozanne and Brillux. She giggled some and looked back at him. "I'm sure you'd make a lot of people piss them selves. Heck maybe go to a bar and if any one asks you could say 'I'm waiting for the alcohol to set in.'" She laughed some.
As they came into town Mina looked back and forth for for an inn, the sun had set and the only thing lighting the streets were the lamps and they wouldn't be on all night. "Damn it where's an inn." She grumbled, her stomach growling and the life inside starting to squirm and kick. She stopped and smiled, her search finally over. "Found one." She said getting off the carriage.

"Just in time..." Roxanne said, slinging her bag over her shoulder as she stepped out of the carriage. Nearby a young stable boy sat atop a hitching post, staring at awe of the two women who'd just pulled up, his eyes jumping from their massive bellies to milk filled breasts and back again.
Fixing her steely glare on the boy, he shimmied over to Roxanne's side where she palmed him a few silver pieces. "See to our carriage and fed the horses and theres more where that came from." she told him. Nodding eagerly, the boy hurried off into the stables and set to his newest task.
"Come on, lets get a room." Roxanne said, waddling towards the entrance to the inn.
(We'll just say we're in whatever town Stardust/Muse and Winter's character are in now. )

Eric shrugged his shoulders at the bag. He told Mina that it would be something that she could do in her spare time on the journey. It had sounded as if it would be less dangerous, but who knows. If it was really that expensive though, it may not be such a good idea if they were on a budget. She continued on and showed him all sorts of candles along the way. True to her name it seemed.
After some time, topic went and changed to where they were now. As well as figuring out what to do with the skeleton.
"Guess I can't really share in your darker senses of humor." Said Eric, he wasn't entirely amused by the jokes being said. Getting off his horse, he followed Roxanne to the inn.

Sarah stared up at him blankly, he saluted her and everything, it had been awhile since she had been even given any respect since leaving the military. She had been amazed to find that the baby was almost reaching out to them but it got her scared and worried again, looking from him to her stomach, her hands rubbing it without meaning too.
She closed her eyes. Taking a deep breath, she looked up to him, "Alright. Thank you..." she whispered softly, she needed help. She knew it. She couldn't do it alone.
It frightened her. To bring such a life into this world and be responsible for it for years to come. Could she do it? She shook the thought away and gave a warm smile at him, "Will you be bathing before going to bed?" she asked him.

" Yes that's actually my plan." he said cheerfully, yet like her Muse was a bit scared too. Could he be the father for it? Possibly a husband to Sarah in the future if something romantically happened between them? Two people with the same fears, yet both too proud and shy to tell each other how they probably really felt. Muse gave her a bow before vanishing into the shower. The warm, soothing, and steaming water was good for him. He did wince a little when it touched his face where she had cut him earlier. He scrubbed, and cleaned of all of the dirt caked on by the road, washed his hair, and felt really refreshed. Coming into the living area again in nothing but a casual looking shirt and pants Muse looked like your normal handsome young man. " How about this, you can have the bed and I'll take the couch?" he said coming up to her smiling warmly. " I insist. You and the child need a good night's sleep after all." =========================================== Brillux quietly followd the group into the Inn. With his disguise, people didn't really pay much attention to him, which the skeleton liked. He had been to this town as a small boy and younger man, so he remembered a lot of it well, along with a few memories that seemed to magically bounce around in his skull. Finding a spot to be alone he crawled into a dark corner to think. Here he was traveling with a group of oddly pregnant women, and some guy that probably would end up falling in love with one of them. It was an odd feeling in his bones, yet part of him felt like he was to be their silent guardian. Though he had a mouth, Brillux was pretty good at protecting and always kept his word. Yet now he wondered how the warlock was able to stay standing with her large belly. The generation of today could endure a lot more pain that was for sure!

Mina followed Roxanne into the inn, her face a little pink. "I think that stable boy was checking us out, he seemed a little too eager to help us." She said, waddling up to the desk. "hello, we'd like to rent some rooms." She said to the clerk behind the desk.
The clerk smiled and nodded. "And how many will you be needing?" He asked, his voice having a bit of an accent.
"Well I was thinking two if nobody has any objections." She said turning to the rest of her party.
