Kirai watched him as he went off, immediately cutting off the small portion of her soul that managed to influence her. Her eyes going pitch dark again, her cold emptiness returning, Kirai watched him leave with no feeling at all. No longing, no love, no hate. Just duty, and loyality towards her friends. Turning away, Kirai sliced her own wrist, after a second of the blood pouring down, it healed almost instantly. She decided before she returned home, she should go kill and feed, perhaps practice more necromancy, and control. Alone, with herself, Kirai still had her shadow... that was enough to fill her to the point possession, although she had always known it's risk, did not offer her any fear. Terror. Death. Both her enemies, and her closest friends... her greatest fear, and for tonight, the ultimatium for whomever she selected to drain.

A fine mist rolled into the forest, curling around Fury a moment before moving to be quite a few yards away from him. The mist went upward a little and started to turn and twist, forming a human body. When it was done, Alana stood there, very careful not to move too much.

"Fury, I need to talk to you, please. I won't make you stay, but this is important. What I have to say is important to me."

Alana sat down where she stood, not getting any closer, but not moving further away either. "Please?" Her voice held pain in it, but she had high doubts that, that would make him stay.

"Your safety. I have been given 24 hours to show that you have changed just a little so others will not kill you. But I will not stop your wishes. If you wish not to agree then I will let them have you for taking my grandmother's heart."

Alana kept her head down, afraid if she looked up at him she would start to cry, and that is the last thing she wanted to do around him.

Alana's hands shook and she had to shut her eyes, to keep the tears in. "I didn't think this would happen. I never did Fury. I can't kill without reason, and now that I know you can't kill my family, I can't kill you. And there is no reason for others to kill you now. My grandmother gets her heart back, and gives it to Asa."

She shook her head and crossed her arms over her chest, finally looking up. "Please Fury, let me try to help you without ruining the chances that I changed."

"I would have been able to protect myself. My clothing it too tough for your teeth. We can even test it if you wish."

Before even thinking Alana stood up and walked over to Fury. "All what I want is your safety now. You think you are bad for what you almost did to me, it sucks even more when I really do love you." Alana covered her mouth and turned away quickly.

"I-I" Alana had a hard time voicing it again, so she looked down at the ground and only said it above a whisper. "I love you Fury."

This time she couldn't stop the tears, but she only smiled while tears left her eyes. "I love you."

without hesitateing Fury pulled Alana to him, curling his arms around her protectively and turning his back to Psyc.. effectively sheilding her as he studied the jackal over his shoulder. " but it wont save yours if you get any closer to her, old man." he was seconds away from shifting.. but, unlike before, he held himself in check.. more from fear that he couldnt protect Alana in that form than anything.
