Quarentine's jaw fell wide, like a snake's completely unlatched and she showed just how long her tounge really was letting out a raptor's call and moving cleanly out of his grasp, muscles tensing, and growing twice as defined across her body. She gathered her jaw up again easily, hissing behind her many rows of teeth, it instinctual.

She was much faster than he'd imagined, and alot less tidy. In an instant, she latched her teeth onto his shoulder like a leech almost pulling off a chunk.

She looked at him and put two and two together, releasing her bite and cutting open her palm to drip blood on the wound, it closing up before her eyes. She knew it was still going to hurt like hell, but at least he wouldn't bleed out. "I don't think he likes me much." she said, his blood dripping from her lips , pushing his hair away from his face. "What exactly is it that I'm sopposed to make him want?"

She met his eyes and tilted her head. "Is it sad I'm concerned for you more than he at this point?" she asked. Humans made her uncomfortable, judgmental and hateful toward her, like she chose to be what she was. It made her insecure, and she didn't see Nexus as any better. She quickly put her mask back on, palm long healed since she cut it.

" You make it sound like you're never coming out again." she said wondering what it would be like to be condemned to protect a creature she disliked for the rest of her life.

She looked at him, masked and fine. " Nope, You are." She said. Somewhere in her was a maternal sense she couldn't deny. She rose, lifting him to his feet, his arm around her shoulders letting him use her as a support. " Come on, let's get you out of here." she said prepared to carry him. She could lift 17x her own weight with relative ease.

She yawned "He was tired. He provoked me specifically to land the blow. All though I'm sure he thought he was sly in doing so." she said hoping his other side could here her. "And now I've been asked to look after you. Honestly unless you want me to have you commited for the next few nights you'll stop the 'noble and good non trusting' thing and accept some help. The healing agent's going to finish it's job, and it's going to make you sick, then pass out. Trust me, I know. It's my blood. So I repeat, this way sir." she said impatiently. She wasn't good at any of this, being around people, being near them, taking care. She wanted to be, but she just wasn't. She was sure she sounded rude and bitchy, so she turned and looked at him "I'm sorry...I don't do this often."

She didn't care for a lecture on character judgment or for what to apologize. She did what ever the hell she felt like and it really didn't matter. She figured everyone who critisized for it was a hypochrit(sp?). Everyone does it just not everyone voiced it.

She blinked one eye, then the other with a bored, annoyed aura. "Look, are you coming or what?" she said dully. His proper speech hadn't bothered her when the other Nexus spoke, but this one just struck her as snotty and overly angsty. At least he could hide what he was for a short while, and wasn't shunned from every placed he walked, she couldn't speak for whether or not he cried himself to sleep, but damn it he could lie. At least he had that. And it was more than she'd ever had... WOULD ever have. She had nothing to her name but a burning hate, a need for acceptance, and a shabby little apartment she had to pay a blind girl to purchase for her, because the realiter called the cops as soon as she walked in. At least she had a sense of humor, even if she was the only one who laughed at it.
