"One can only wonder, huh?" Kurai said, bearing his teeth as the length of both the eletric rain and the mana barrier slowly started wear thin at his patience. It was bad enough that the thing had no heart, and aiming to knocking his frushniking head off was pointless, even moreso was the fact that he had a metal body or skeletal system or something.

"I'm just curious as to whether this guy bleeds or not....if he does I'll have a chance or two against this guy..." he said, peering over to Aonice's aggressive form. "How are you holding up?" despite his odd heritage, he was slowing starting to care about Aonice more and more....whether or not he himself would admit it...

"Not quite sure...this is this first time I've used my mana in this fashio before...." he said, making it sound alittle bit more cynical than he had intended. Plans were formulating in his head, but none of them seemed to add up correctly...but there was one that came to mind.

"Hey, do you know any summoning techniques? I can't summon anything without lowering the barrier....and Tsuin can't merge with me cause he's taking care of that other girl..."

"You're going to have to trust me when I say this.....tear off the back of my shirt, and use my blood to create a summoning seal....I think I can do the rest from there..." he said, trying to maintain focus on the barrier. His body slowly grows tense as the cost of mana becomes greater with each second, slowly wondering when he'll snap or lose control of his own mana.

Now's not the time to be thinking like that dammit...

*Safe on the confines of the electric rain falling about it, Rake moved easily to the exit it had entered through*

Cover the exit Rayth. ANYONE other than me passing thorugh... let them have a taste of madness.

Ladies and gentlemen, my good colleague here is a bit of a nutcase, but mostly harmless. He likes Gummi bears and the sound of his true name. Now I have a lot more runes to lay and a volcano to visit, and as you all seem woefully incompetant of harming me right now, I woudl suggest you wait ten minutes until Rayth leaves, then gather your friends and talk strategy. Next time I wont be playing with you all.

Now, just to reiterate the facts... Rayth is the demon lord of intelligence and insanity. He has NEVER been kept out of a mind before and if he chooses he can turn your thoughts inside out, or make you all kill each other and save me some hassle. In ten minutes, he will move aside and you may go where you wish and do what you will. Seek me out again... and I may not be so forgiving.

*So saying, Rake ducked its head and left the caverns, heading now by air for the volcano itself. Rayth however sat near the entrance and grinned at the pwople gathered before it*

Dont mind butch - the female body gives him near permanent PMS, but whose to argue with a god? He never even has any gummi bears... but he sometimes has popcorn and I get front row seats to every fight night!

Oh dear oh dear, what can the matter be? Doesnt the ladybird know to fly home? The house is burning, the children have gone... no more laughter, no more play, over the fields and far away.

*It shook its head sadly, then patted the ground next to it, the previously seen entity known as Void, looking like nothing more than a thick animated shadow, taking up a seatto Rayth's left*

'Rioushu continued absorbing energy from the caverns, seeping as much energy as he could find, the entire caverns returning to it original form. Now he was so enveloped in darkness that no one could see his body, and he could not see outside the darkness, so he switched the energy into an aura that surrounded him, just in time to see the electric rain coming his way. But instead of avoiding the oncoming attack, he ran around the caverns to hit as many as he could, actually speeding up each time. "Man, haven't had such a good meal in a while." Rioushu said, watching Rake leave and Rayth guard the door. He looked at Aonice, Quint, and the siblings and motioned them to move back. "Move away, I shall unleash all the energy I gathered onto this violent little man, if I'm not mistaken, you're going to find the caverns go in a lot further." 'Rioushu' said, not wanting to kill more allies than neccasary.

'Rioushu' shook his head as he saw Rayth leave the cavern, looking a bit glad. "Excellent, he didn't make me waste my energy by destroying him, I don't know about you guys, but I think it's time to stop Rake's energy supply." Rioushu said, walking out into the forest. As soon as he got to the first tree, he gently put his hand on it, closing his eyes as it started to return to normal, then just as quickly as the sin spread, his counter attack spread across the trees, as the forest started to look green again.
