Calix watched Serena's efforts to clean up the blood left from the fallen demons. He turned his attention the small pond they had just been. He thought for a moment, then walked over to the water. He dipped his hands in, cupping them as he brought them back up to hold some of the water. He carried the water carefully to one of the blood stains. "Let's see if this works," he said as he splashed the water on it. It lifted some of the stain, and he used his own waist cloak to soak up some of the bloody water. He looked at Serena and smiled. "It's a start at least," he said in an assuring voice.

She shook her head and smiled at him a bit. "Rain water'll do just fine. It'll clean it out. Seems like we got a storm heading in anyway."
She stood up. "Calix?"
Turning to him, she leaned against him for a little while, her wet hair falling over her face. "Thank you. For everything." she curled into his warmth. Bloodloss was making her dizzy, but she ignored the feeling for a while, until she felt as though she would pass out. Swaying, she reached out for his shoulder in order to steady herself. It didn't work. The wounds she had suffered within the last few days caused her to fall to her knees.
The wounds on her body were healed slightly, but with the stress, she felt several re-open. Only the surface was healed....
Serena closed her eyes as she shook, beginning to feel cold.

"Serena!" Calix said, dropping to his knees beside her. He lifted up her head and held his hand against her face. It was getting cold. He didn't know what to do, he didn't have any real medical experience, and apparently, all of her wounds were internal now. He tried to think calmly, but it wasn't going well, he was clueless and scared. Scared that he might lose her already. "Is-is there anything that I can do?" he stuttered to her, hoping she was coherent enough to respond.

She shook her head. "No, I'll be fine. Just blood loss. I can heal." ~I hope.~
She stood up, shaking. "Maybe we should head back. I need to...." she trailed off, then shivered. Grasping his arm, she pulled him into her embrace, and jumped off the side of the cliff. Opening her wings, she was ripped from her free fall and cried out as she felt her bone crack again.
Landing at the Inn, she dropped Calix, stumbled to the door. "I need to sleep..." she said, then passed out.

(great, another week and a half to wait for the next response XD jk see ya! gonna need an NPC for a while also)
Calix picked Serena up and carried her inside the inn. The young woman behind the counter looked up as he walked in.
"Oh! Is she hurt?" the woman said, walking from behind the counter.
"Badly," Calix said with a stern look. "Do you have a doctor or healer anywhere nearby?" he asked with slight weakness in his voice.
"I'll find someone right away!" the woman assured him as she rushed out the door. Calix laid Serena down in a chair by the lit fireplace in the lounge of the inn. He sat on his heels next to her, holding her hand in his. He stared at her pale face with worry plastered on his own face. He looked up as the door opened again. An elderly angel walked in with the young woman.
"Is this the girl?" the angel asked Calix.
"Yes, she's got some internal wounds and a broken bone in her wing. She's lost a lot of blood," he trailed off.
"Ok, I'll take care of her," the angel said, approaching Serena. He got down beside her and held his hand out. His hand started glowing, much like Arc's did when he had healed her the first time. "I would appreciate it if you could wait outside. I need to concentrate," the angel said to Calix.
Calix simply nodded and walked out of the inn with the young woman. He leaned against the side of the inn with his arms crossed and closed his eyes.
"Is she a friend of yours?" the innkeeper asked with an innocent voice.
"Calix glanced at her for a moment and closed his eyes again. "You could say that," he replied with a crooked smile. He turned the side of his lip furthest from her up, so she couldn't see it.
"Oh. Girlfriend?" she asked, her voice a bit softer this time.
He smiled to himself. "Yeah. She's certainly something," he said with a chuckle. His face returned to a stern look, and he remained silent as he waited.

Dio suddenly found himself walking towards a town from this far away he could see merchants peddling their wares and other such activity, Dio broke into a run speeding along the rest of the way he then saw one of those winged people flying and falling down them self.
"How many more could be possible?" he asked no one in particular regardless Dio needed sleep he found an Inn but as he walked up he saw a man talking to one of those winged freaks up, Drawing Ebony he pointed it at the winged one.

Calix opened his eyes as he heard footsteps coming toward the inn, accompanied with a gasp from the young innkeeper. Surprise came across his face as a demon approached him. "Curious. How'd you manage to get past the gate? Or the guards, for that matter?" he asked the demon.

"You mean those winged freaks outside of town... if that's who you mean they're dead" Dio scoffed this guy sounded so sure of himself he was sure he could take him if this came too violence.

"You probably took out a scouting group. Believe me, there's a lot more where they came from. And if you don't put that gun away, you'll have half the angel army on you in a few minutes. There's no need for violence," he said in a monotone voice. His mind was too far away to care, even if this demon had a gun mere feet from his head.

Dio grinned flashing his fangs at the man.
"Relax its not even loaded" He said as he put the gun away Then he pointed at some gawking villagers and shouted.
"What did i turn into gold or something, Quit staring!" he turned back to the man who had told him that the people he had killed were angels.
" I got some questions for you, First and foremost What the hell is an angel" he said

Calix's cocked his head to the side slightly. Is he kidding? A demon that doesn't know what an angel is? he thought to himself. "Well, an angel is a lot like you, actually. They're just a bit more powerful than humans, like demons. And they have very long lifespans, also like demons. In fact, the only real difference between angels and demons is their appearance, mainly the difference in their wings, and their general behavior. Other than that they're a lot alike," Calix said, keeping his head down. When he finished he looked up to see the demon. "I'm Calix, by the way," he said. He uncrossed his arms and held out his hand.

Sam winced as his sister contuinued to yell at him. All he heard at this point was blah, blah, blah. "Max..."
"And you know-"
"Max!"
Sam pointed to the girl whom took a dive out of the mouth of the cave. Max cursed, her profanities bad enough to make a sailor pale.
The two dove after her, keeping a close enough distance away. When they colapsed, Sam growled. "Max, stay out here. I'll go in and help."
Serena sat up, spots flying before her eyes. Her body was warm now...warm and comfortable. The sudden change had caused her to bolt upright. Looking around, she met the blue eyes of n unknown male. "W-who are you...?" she murmured. He gave her a dazzling smirk. Serena stared for a few minutes.
Sam backed up, looking the woman over. She was...she looked slightly like him, in the appearance way. Hardly any imperfections. In fact, if you never saw the color of her feathers, you would mistake her for an angel... "The name's Sam. Just thought you may want some help. I'm gonna split before the old woman comes back and shoos me out with a broom."
Serena gasped, her eyes widening as perfect white wings erupted from his back, and he dove out the window. Standing up, she looked out, and was surprised that he was no where in sight.
"What in the world is going on.....?"
Within ten minutes, the girl descended the stairs, wearing a different outfit of fitted gold colored fabric. It clung to her curves, accentuated her deep mahogony of her hair, and set off the fiery golden sparks in her eyes.
Seeing Calix, she stepped foward and hugged him, beaming. She wrapped her arms around him, then froze. Turning to look at the other being in the room, she backed away. "W-who are you...?" she asked, confused.
Sam sat in a tree overlooking the Inn. He shook his head. She didn't look like a beast...she looked soft, and warm. She looked... "Sam!" Max said, langing beside him.
Looking over to her, Sam smiled. "Yea?"
"Is she alright?"
He nodded, "She's in her lover's arms..." and for some reason, a ball of hatred and jealousy sank in his stomach./

"It's ok, he's not going to hurt anyone. I'm so glad you're ok," Calix said to Serena. When she hugged him, he thought he could almost feel her renewed energy flowing into him, and it made him smile. "My friend here, if he doesn't mind me calling him that, was simply asking me a few questions," he continued, gesturing to the demon that stood before him. He turned back to the demon. "It surprises me that a demon doesn't know what an angel is. Tell me about yourself," he said to the demon.

"Name's Dio but you can call me D" he looked quizzically at the woman who had burst in an hugged Calix, Returning his attention to Calix.
"So lemme get this straight" Dio sat down in a chair. "There was a huge war that killed almost everything except humans, angels and demons" he paused "and im a demon?" the thought of him being evil enough to kill everything shook him to his core, he shivered.
"And all i really know about myself his my name and how to defend myself" he said sadly

"D, then. Well, yes that's about the basics of it. But there are certainly more angels and demons still around than there are humans. They've been in constant war for each other for a very long time now. I take it you grew up on your own, since no one has told you these things," Calix said.
