ElladanKenet No. They're still continuing, just on a slight hiatus Then...who's fighting it?

The CIS is still pushing it The Rep is infighting and fragmenting, though still commited to fighting Kuat seems to be making a private bid And the other two states want to stay out of it

i just wonder how a war can go on for 13 years, especially one as devastating as the clone wars. We can't even call it the clone wars because we're out of clones.

Nelowulf Considering that the chancellor was killed, and from the fact that there is tension currently, as well as Rodyn saying that the plot might be "war, multifront war, or no war at all", i'm assuming that the clone wars ended with armistice, the CIS gaining political control along the seperatist nations, while the core of the galaxy was held republic strong. And also, I must continue to point out that jsut because there are dwindling numbers of jedi, you just can't "poof" out more younglings into jedi knights. If you go onto a rapid spurge of jedi padawans into knights, then you essentially haven't answered the question of what are the new knights goign to train? It sure as hell isnt' padawans, because there's only so many born each year, and you still have to find them. Especially since with the republic suddenly losing it's power, the jedi order isn't necessarily given such free reign to travel anywhere anymore. So like maybe the jedi figured out it would be a good idea to allow jedi to mate and make little jedi.

Officialy at war and technically at war are two different terms
Consider the Korean Peninsula. Because the Korean War ended in a cease-firing and not a peace-treaty, they are still effectively at war

Hence the word Armistice, EK.
@ K: That may be, but you can't just pop a kid out in a day, have him be a teen tomorrow, and and adult day three. The Jedi will be recovering from this for several decades.
On a side note, i've been drawing up how the politics work in the system, and it looks like a feaking quilt.

I misread that post. I could've sworn it said 'peace' and not armistice

Duh, it’s only been ten years, so like even if the jedi got busy and had little jedi the oldest would be like nine or so.

Still, the influx of padawans hasn't changed, if anything, it's lessened. There's no real need to jack up the promotion to knighthood.

I still think that if a padawan proves herself worthy and has passed the tests to her masters satisfaction then she should be promoted to knighthood regardless of age.
