Looking at Mia as he eyes turned back, Varnis walked up to her and waved a hand in front of her face. "Mia?" He whispered as he waved his hand, wondering if she is all right. "You all right?" He wondered, standing there, waiting.
Zanio walked into the tent as Mia stood there with the sword. "Looks like it decided."

( wahmbulance I was freaking out, I thought this roleplay was destroyed. I looked in this area and found it! mrgreen Huge relief! )
Mia blocked "Marria's" first strike and the strength of the attack made Mia fall back. She readjusted her stance and swung at it's head. It blocked the strike, grabbed the sword Mia was holding and stabbed her in the shoulder. Mia jumped back and grabbed her sholder. It then looked and Mia and frowned. "I know you can do better then that," it said as it threw the sword at Mia's feet. Mia picked up the sword and stood ready for it's next attack. "Marria" then ran at her again swinging faster then before. Mia ducked down, blocked the second strike, and pushed it back, making an opening. She tried to cut it's right arm off, but it was able to just move to side, causing Mia to end up cutting off "Marria's" right wing. It then jumped back and smiled. "That's better, but can you really win?" It jumped back into the shadows, and when it reappeared from the shadows, It looked like Varnis. In the sight of Mia's shock, on her face, the voice laughed again. Mia then became enraged and rushed at it.
(Back in the tent) Mia turned to Varnis, her eyes still black. She smiled, but it wasn't a kind of smile normally seen on her face, it looked almost evil. She then swung the sword at Varnis's chest.

Cought off guard by Mia's sudden attack, Varnis had no chance to try and parry the attack with his daggers. Jumping backwards just in time as the sword dug into the chest part of his leather armor, he looked at her for a moment as he placed his hands on his daggers behind his back.
"Mia?" He asked as he wondered what was going on. "Why do you attack me?"
((Was waiting for Zeromercy, but don't really need her posts atm. May need to advertise though for more people to join again...))

Erik had gotten intercepted by a few Hellspawn, and one of them had managed to blast off a lightning bolt against him. Erik knew why. He had run a long way to get them off him, and today, he had finally managed to escape. Ahead of him, he saw Varnis and Mia fighting. "Not good."

Mia swung at it's head, it blocked her attack and stab at their stomach. Mia, just, jumped back far enough to miss the blade. She kicked the blade to the side and swung at it's side, with great strength. The blade when't into it's side and it jumped away. "Varnis" now had a big evil smile on it's face. "Thats much better, you might be able to wield me after all," it said as it regenerated. Mia went at it again, but she had a slightly scared look on her face.
(back in the tent) Mia turned to Varnis again and ran at him. This time she stabbed at his throat.

Kiri left the tavern a few minutes after Marria. Once outside she looked around and saw no trace of Marria. There were a few people around but they did not matter to her. She reached out with her right hand and it began to glow dimly. Before her black cracks appeared and spread out to ten feet in height and width. The cracked pieces fell away leaving a ten foot by ten foot black void. Heat flowed from the void and screams of pain echoed in the distance. Two glowing red eyes slowly grew larger and a low growl was heard as the eyes approached. The growl increased in volume and eyes grew larger until spiked bat like wings poked out of void. The tips of the wings were followed by the head of a gigantic lion with glowing red eyes. When the creature fully exited the void its shoulder height was eight feet and its head and body length was just over sixteen feet with a spiked tail twenty feet in length. It had a wingspan of forty five feet and weighed approximately one and a half tons. The beast was called a Manticore and lived in a different dimension. Kiri was granted the power to summon it by the gods. The void closed behind the Manticore and reality returned to normal. The massive winged lion drew the attention of the few people that were around; it let loose a bellowing roar that sent them scurrying away. Kiri reached up and ran her fingers through the Manticore's thick mane.
After climbing onto the Manticore's back Kiri positioned herself between its wings. "Let's go." Hearing her voice the Manticore gave its wings a mighty flap, the beating of its wings sent gusts of wind ripping through air. The creature shoved the ground with its powerful legs and lifted itself into the air. It rose into the sky and then soared off towards the horizon.
It did not take long for Kiri and the Manticore to reach the home of the royal family in the Air Nation. They circled around the house a few times scoping things out. The mansion was surrounded by six towers, one on each corner. The paper did not mention that there were multiple towers. As the pair circled the mansion Kiri wondered if it mattered which tower she infiltrated. She closed her eyes and focused her concentration. She could feel the towers pulsing with magical energy. At first they all felt the same, but as she continued to concentrate harder she could feel something else. She could sense the gems that allowed passing through the barrier.
It had taken Kiri longer than planned to determine the correct tower. By now they had been sighted and everyone was on guard. The soldiers in each tower were already prepared for combat and would not be surprised easily. Soldiers within the mansion were also warned that a suspicious person was circling the house on an unidentified creature.
With sigh of frustration Kiri pointed at the tower she thought continued the gems. The Manticore charged straight at it. Kiri stood up on the Manticore's back and gripped the sword handle above her left shoulder with her right hand. In a swift movement she pulled Yagura no Tachi from its sheath. The sword's dark purple blade shimmered brilliantly as the Manticore sped through the air. The Manticore passed by the tower and whipped at it with its twenty foot long, spiked, tail. The top of the tower exploded in pieces. The Manticore turned back and circled the tower; Kiri was no longer on its back.
Kiri crouched on the edge of the crumbling wall. The rubble from the tower fell to the ground far below. The soldiers within the tower were thrown to the floor by the massive impact. Slow to get up, the soldiers looked around at each other. "What happened?" one of them asked. The soldiers finally returned to their feet, they glanced at each other before each f their eyes ended on Kiri. She was still crouching on the remains of the tower wall. In her right hand she held Yagura no Tachi at the ready. A smile spread across her face and she sprung forward. The purple blade cut through the air with a subtle hum and sliced through armor, flesh, and bone unhindered.
Yagura no Tachi slid back into its sheath and clinked quietly as Kiri released her grip on it. Before her were five gems, Kiri scooped them up with her left hand and turned around. The floor was covered with a thin layer of crimson blood and littered with rubble and bodies. The smile on Kiri's face was still there. Kiri crossed the floor by leaping from body to body until she returned to her previous position on the wall. She glanced back and looked over the room one last time before leaping from the wall.
Before Kiri even began to descend she was caught by the Manticore. "We're done here."

((Uhhh... You didn't really give me a chance to try and stop you but... ok. As for Erik, I thought he was with Marria's sister, and they where about to find out what was with the orders... Vannah's profile is up.)) Hearing hurried knocking on the door, Vannah stood up and walked over to the door. "Yes?" She asked as she opened the 'door', which opened into a stair way. "There is some one attacking the tower containg the teleporting gems. They can't seem to be stopped." The messenger huridly said to her as she let him in. "All right, help me with my armor." She said as she qucikly ran to an armoir and started to don her armor with the help of the messenger. Running over to a chest, she opened it and pulled out a long sword and looked at it for a moment. "Stay here if you wish." With that, in a single thought, she had appeared out side in the court yard to see the destruction, and to see a woman on a large beast. With another sinlge though she had appeared on the beast with her sword pointed at the one who was attacking. Her right arm was missing, but she was fully able to fight, and was prepared. "So, you are the one who caused so much destruction in a short time here..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ With one fluid motion, Varnis was able pull out his daggers, and parry the blow, and readied himself for another strike. "Its the sword isn't it? You can fight it, you can beat the sword!" He said as he was ready for another strike.

Sword? Wait a minute...This is similar to what Jack did once... "Yelling at her won't work. We gotta pray to the Gods her spirit can't be tied down that easily." Erik knew what happened when cursed relics fell into human hands. Jack once picked up a cursed scapel. Took him five minutes of furious mental combat, but the demons inside that knife never took him over. Mia didn't have as strong a will, but Erik felt that she could win. Powerful auras surronded those he had met, and even greater demons would have a tough time.

Mia stopped her attack when hearing Varnis's voice. " Was that Varnis, so you don't have full control over me," she said as she looked at the fake Varnis. The fake Varnis looked a her enraged. "Damn it, how is it possible that you could hear that," It yelled, as it ran at her with an even quicker pace then before. Mia was blocking it's attacks, but with every block she was flung back a half a step. With one strong swing she pushed it back and went for it's chest, but it jumped out of the way to quickly. It backed up far enough to get ready for another attack, but before it had the chance Mia run at the fake Varnis. Mia swung at it's chest again and screamed, "I can't lose!" A gust of wind went with her blade and through the fake Varnis, like butter. It screamed in pain, from being cut in half, turned into smoke, and disappeared into the darkness. It seemed to be over and Mia was waiting for something to happen, but nothing did. The voice laughed again. "You haven't bet me yet, you still have one more test." This time it amurged out of the shadows, being a strange girl she never seen before.(Kiri)

Mia stopped and breathed out, which almost sounded like an evil growl. She stopped moving, her eyes still in blackness.

The commotion up ahead caught Luna's attention. It sounded as if people were fighting-shouting, and the distinct clink of steel on steel. This made Luna nervous-she carried no real weapon to defend herself with. Nonetheless, she headed for the source of noise, coming upon what appeared to her to be a camp. Seeing a couple people crowded around a tent, Luna approached slowly.
