Watkins glen is really more of a speedway/roadcourse. Yeah, i live 3 hours away from this racetrack. Usually the race overlaps our county fair and a few nascar drivers come there every year.

From where I live...
Watkins Glen is about a 3 hr drive and 150 miles.
Pocono is about a 5 hr drive and almost 300 miles.
thats weird.. I was told a few years ago pocono was closer... oh well.

I was told a few years ago pocono was closer... oh well. And right now Im planning on going to martinsville, bristol, or richmond sometime during the 2010 season. Ticket prices are really low and those to tracks are only a bit longer than half a days drive.
