Kai was wandering around the outside of the greenhouse, sighing sadly at the sudden emptiness of the area. Hmm...I wonder where all of those new people went...I probably scared them off...Like usual... The young healer ran a slender hand through his brown hair out of frustration, his big earth-colored eyes staring at the sky. His ear picked up the faintest sound...It was the sound of an animal...Crying? The boy quickly looked in the direction of the sound and noticed that it was a squirrel...laying there. Blood was covering its leg and tears instantly came into Kai's eyes. He quickly ran over to the creature and bent down next to it, his hands slowly coming out to hold the animal. He felt its slow heart beat and its eyes started to close slowly. He bit his lower lip hard and decided that now would have to be the time to test out his healing techniques on a small mammal. Kai slowly closed his tearful brown eyes and his hands started glowing. The light was a bright white...full of warmth and love. A white sphere surrounded the squirrel's leg and disappeared almost instantly, its leg fully healed. Kai grinned widely as he looked down at the squirrel, that was now scurrying around in his hands happily, "I...did it!" He slowly lowered the creature to the ground, watching it stare at him for a second before scampering off to a tree and climbing up it and into a hole, soon disappearing. A slight laugh left his lips and he slowly stood up, looking down at his bloody hands, "Oh well...I'm washable..." He rummaged through his knapsack and found a cloth, using it to wipe most of the blood off. He tossed the fabric back into his backpack, continuing his journey through the area surrounding the glass house.

Kai wandered into the greenhouse now, seeing some girl looking for something. He raised an eyebrow and something glimmering found his eye. He wandered over to it cautiously and slowly picked it up, noticing that it was a crystal orb. His brown eyes quickly wandered over to the girl, wondering if it was hers. He instantly turned crimson and started to quietly make his way over to the girl. He looked down and outstretched the orb-bearing hand towards the female, "I-I-Is...t-t-this what y-y-you are l-l-looking for?..." He gulped quickly and closed his brown eyes, embarassment overcoming the young healer again. He probably wouldn't have talked to the girl but she seemed to be panicking over the small shiny orb that he found. His brown hair gently fell in front of his face, concealing his sparkling brown eyes and his crimson face.

Kai's big brown eyes slowly wandered up to the girl and he nodded slightly, his face still crimson, "Y-Y-Your welcome..." He quickly looked off to the side, causing another one of the buttons on his white shirt to undo itself. Now, there was only about three buttons holding the shirt on. More of his flesh was visible now, all the way down to the middle of his abdomen. A slight indentation of muscles was visible, but not enough for the healer to be called a body builder. Kai's eyes slowly shifted back to the girl and he quickly looked back off to the side. He was wondering why the girl looked at him so...strangely. He had never been looked at like that before. A thought suddenly ran through his mind, "Oh no...she probably wants to hurt me for touching her orb...Like Tomoro and her plants..." His sparkling eyes quickly closed tightly as he waited for the impact of a fist or some sort of weapon against his body. The healer was a little...jumpy...He didn't like to be hurt...Even though he could've healed himself easily...He still didn't like the idea of someone he has never met before hurting him...But Tomoro was like that sometimes...Especially whenever someone touched her precious plants.

Kai's eyes went wide and he quickly looked at the girl. He gulped audibly and stammered, "H-H-How...d-d-did you know w-w-what I was t-t-thinking?..." His hands started shaking slightly and he quickly pulled them close to his chest, his foot catching the focus of embarassment and started tapping uncomfortably. Because his shoes had a very soft bottom, it made no sound when it hit the floor repeatedly. The healer's big brown eyes remained on the girl, despite his best efforts to look away. He didn't know why he didn't, or why he couldn't. He would've looked away in a heartbeat but he seemed to be frozen from embarassment. Luckily, his brown hair fell in front of parts of his eyes so the girl couldn't see his eyes that well. He didn't know what to do...He didn't want to walk away, it would've been rude...He couldn't really look away...And he didn't really want to say anything else that might cause him to become even more embarassed in front of the girl.

Kai's eyes went wide, "Y-Y-You...a-a-are a telepath? That's so cool!!!" His foot stopped moving and his face lightened slightly as he moved his hair out of his big brown eyes, "I'm only a healer...And...don't worry about my state of embarassment...I seem to be embarassed around...Well...everyone...I'm horrible at making friends..." His brown eyes slowly wandered off to the side as he awaited the predictable laugh and put-down he usually got from people who heard his sad plight of his life of being lonely. The healer shifted slightly, allowing the staff to find a more comfortable spot across his back.

Kai smiled slightly and looked down slowly, "Well...I am just used a lot by all of my 'friends'...I don't know why...I mean...There are lots of healers out there...I don't know what makes me so special..." His brown eyes wandered down at an angle, kicking his foot against the ground shamefully. He didn't like to admit it, but he was hated among all of the people that used him. The healer didn't know what to say next...He was also horrible at making conversations...So he didn't take that role much...But he was usually stuck with it despite his shyness and embarassment. The sunlight shone through the glass of the greenhouse and seemed to make his skin glow in the light. That usually happened to him whenever it was a sunny day and he had no idea why it happened.

The healer smiled slightly and looked up at the girl, moving the hair out of his eyes again, "I'm...Kai...Kai Togamaki...And...who might you be?" He smiled sweetly, somehow feeling comfortable around the girl now. Kai raised an eyebrow when he noticed the girl's strange way that she was looking at him. He didn't know what was the problem...He had always been comfortable with his body...So he didn't really notice his almost half-nudity.

Kai smiled slightly and bowed in greeting, just in time so he didn't see Alyssa's fangs, "Nice to meet you, miss..." He stood up straight again, just in time to see a slight blush come across the girl's face. The healer himself also turned a light shade of red and quickly looked off to the side, "Uhh...A-A-Are you ok, Alyssa?...You look a little...Flushed...I hope I didn't do anything to cause that..." He quickly looked back at Miss Darkwood, moving the hair out of his big brown eyes so he could watch her carefully. He rested his arms back at his sides, revealing his chest and abdomen again. When he moved his arms, his shirt opened up even more, still only three buttons holding it up though. Now, almost his entire chest was visible and the slow, steady beat of his heart could be seen if you watched carefully in the slow pulsation of his neck.
