Personal Info: The miserable and cocky mercenary. He was born and grew up in the slums of Midgar. He hates his poor childhood and Midgar. His environment in which he grew up in forced him to be a criminal for hire in order to survive. He managed to travel the world through illegal connections. He has taken jobs from Shinra, Don Corneo, other nations, and the common man. He doesn't care who he works for as long as he gets paid. His skills are for sale, not his loyalty. He is an expert with swords and blades. He often criticizes Cloud for using such an impractical and over sized sword. He has a deep infatuation towards Tifa.
In the beginning, he has tried to kill Cloud and the group by order of Shinra but failed several times. Then Shinra fires him because of his failures and the Turks try to execute him. He gets away and challenges Cloud to a final showdown as a way to make up for his failures. Cloud defeats him. He asks Cloud to kill him but Cloud asks him to help in the journey to save the world and defeat Sephiroth. He joins Cloud and the group and puts his mercenary status on hiatus.
