Gen screamed and squeezed her eyes shut. Her armos automatically went forward as snow and moist ice flew from her palms. The cold breeze itself knocked Tetsuo back onto his butt. More ice and snow formed on the ground to force him back further down the hall than he had started his leap from.

Opening her eyes, Gen blinked at the accomplishment. The raptor version of Tetsuo was growling viciously at them, but he was slowing. If he was cold blooded like a reptile, then he was feeling the cold more so than normal people. Ice began to form on Tetsuo's claws and tail. She felt horrible having to do it, but she was terrified of the claws that were extended towards her and Porter.

"Yep..." Cathy said watching them head to bed. "I'm invisible...." She sighed and shook her head. "I hate being ignored." So in revenge she followed Jacen as he carried her to bed. She peeked in after them before they could shut the door on her. "Night you two....oh and Jacen...try not to keep little Penny there up two late...she does need her rest...and be gentle..." He should take that exactly how it sounded. "Night you two love birds..." She said with a laugh walking down the hall.

How long had it been...? It seemed like several hours had past but she wasn't sure anymore, it had been quite sometime since the Professor and Scott said he had other business to attend to, so they left her alone in the sub-basement to work. Kylia just had to laugh to herself when she thought back to her meeting with Scott and the Professor.

When they meet Scott seemed a little surprised that Kylia was so... well young but he seemed even more surprised when the Professor told him that was here to do some modification to Cerebro.... well that wasn't totally true..... actually Scott literally spit coffee all over his when he was told.

He as well as other members of the Institute would be even more shocked to see her right now. Following a trail of cords and wires leading up Kylia's neck and connected to the back of it like that of a computer. But really that wasn't to far from the truth.
As she had told Tetsuo that even though he may have been born different, no what he was still human at one point even before he was really born he was still human. It was just not by his choice that he became something else.
But... it wasn't like that for Kylia... she was different... from everyone... the only one of her kind... she wasn't 'born' like everyone else she was built... Kylia was a bio android, a living breathing computer you could say... she was still a muntant yes flesh and blood, but it all was synthetic.

But unlike anyother android, cyborg, robot, or anything of the like there one thing that made her totally different from any machine... Kylia was 'born' with a heart.



Back to the task at hand... In the past Kylia's parents would do maintance work on Cerebro from their lab, but now she was able to do that for them. Being what she was did have it's advantages. Kylia could directly interface with Cerebro and do what ever repairs or adjustment from the inside out. It took a lot less time than working on it in the lab and it was twice as efficient.

But like everything it had it's downsides too. The work was beginning to take it's toll on her, using this method took a lot of strain on her body, it took a lot less time than the old way but it still took several hour and it took a lot of energy to do. You could tell just by looking at her. With her eyes closed she layed very quietly on the floor but you could her the strain in her breathing. You could see the beads of sweat on her forehead and the tensing of her muscles.

System Modifications Complete...

Chimed Cerebro's voice system.

Kylia breathed a very tired sigh of relief and smiled. "Heh...That took a little long than I thought it would..."



((Sorry for the lack of posting, training has been keeping me pretty busy. I hope no one minds my really long, it's kind of my style if you have guessed yet ^^; But anyways it is just part of Kylia's character development at this point. I will have her interact more with the others later once her character is set. Again my apologizes))

"Mmm....sounds like me...after all the dust settled it was all rather slow goin." He said nodding. "Looks good..." He said as a plate was set in front of him. He had the nagging thought that she wasn't telling him everything which he pushed away taking a bite of his chicken. That didn't bother him, after all, it was only the first date so he wasn't expecting her life's story. "Chickens good, want a taste?" He offered.

"Gah, what'd I do??!" Gen shouted, not sure if he was getting better or worse or what. "Teagan??"

"Sure..." He said as she scooped up some and offered it to him. "It's good..." He said before lapsing into an awkward silence while they ate. Markus was not the most socialy adept person around. "Sssssooooo....." He said after a minute or two. "I'm probably going to go and get Sasha something for the baby either tomarrow or the next day....want to come with me?" He asked feeling slightly awkward. "Maybe we can.....catch a movie or something....."

Markus nodded. "Sure...let's go...." She really didn't have to drag him all that hard. He was seated on a swing. "Lord...it's been years since I've been in a park...." He admitted. "Slides and monkey bars were my favorites..." He looked at the See-saw. "I kept falling off the see-saw..." He said remembering the two trips to the doctors that had caused. "I always tried to do like they did in the cartoons and swing all the way around on the swing....never did seem to be able to do that." He said with a chuckle.

"You're on." He said smiling and swung next to her. Me could take a fall at nearly any height so that didn't worry him. He actually felt like a kid again doing this. "Why? We're having fun...." He said trying to outswing her.
