"Well, yeah... my dad was a vampire and my mom was...human" he said, his voice breaking up a little towards the end of his sentence. He still hadn't fully gotten over the recent death of his mother.

"Oh..." Anne lowered her head, noticing he seemed to not like mentioning his mother. She stood. "Well, I'd better go now...I-I'll see you..." She started moving towards the door.

"No... wait" he said softly, reaching for her wrist to stop her from leaving. "I just...Are your parents...like you?" He asked her.

Anne sighed and sat back down, figuring it might take a minute to explain. "No, my parents are human. But...it was my 16th birthday, I went wandering in the woods. And, I ran into this vampire, who bit me, and left me there. When I woke up, I was...this. I had to leave the town I was in. They aren't very accepting of anything other than humans."

"I see... I was born like this, but my mother managed to hide me for a while until well... I was discovered. The town came after me and they almost got me but...she protected me. I just managed to escape them but....It was all my fault..."

Anne put a comforting hand on his arm. "No, I'm sure it wasn't. You can't help any of it. You can't help what you are, or the fact that no one would accept it. It's their faults, for not being able to realize what you were, and just accept it."

Anne nodded. "It's ok. I'm here to help." She stood once more. "Now, I must really go. I'll see you later, Jason." With that, she exited the room and headed to her own dorm.

Jason sighed and got up. He figured hed better start unpacking, so he walked over to his bags and began unpacking his things, mostly clothes and a few personal belongings. He hadn't exactly had much time to pack... It was a nice room, there was more than enough space for everything, and he was sure to be comfortable in it.

Anne was up in her tree again, reading her book. She was reading Romeo and Juliet for the fifth time. It was one of her favorite books. Her legs dangled off the brach she was sitting on, her back leaning against the trunk of the tree.

Kiana walked up to the mansion, and looked around. She liked the scenery surrounding the place. The trees kept it slightly out of view, so humans had a hard chance of finding them. She walked inside, and attempted to find her way around.

Jason sat up in bed, rubbing his eyes ferociously with his palms. It took him a few seconds to remember where he was, in the mansion, of course. He took a shower, brushed his teeth, and put on a pair of jeans, t-shirt, and a sweatshirt. He stepped out of his room and into the hall, figuring he'd go explore the grounds for a while.

Kiana rolled her eyes and sighed. "Wonderful," she said sarcastically. "Do you at least know where I'd be able to find my dorm?" she asked. "These bags are a bit heavy." She lifted one of her arms that was carrying two of her bags. She needed to set them down soon.
