Kamali's eyes went wide and he let his head lean toward the pup, her tiny teeth on his ear. He staired at Haku, he looked very much afraid! (cute.) He never actually was around pups younger than himself. "I.. I just want to adventure, I'm not leaving now.." he replied to the girl. Secretly he wanted to see Monenoke, that was most of his reasoning. But he wanted to meet other wolves too.
He shifted a bit, paw gently swiping at the little female, his touch feather light.

She would sniffle a bit, and curl up into a ball as she was lifted by her scruff. She was soon faced with another large male, staring up at him as he questioned her mother. At being licked at, she curled up closer to her mother's belly, her head resting on the ground, and half against her mother's fur as well. Closing her eyes half way, she eyed the male curiously...while trying to figure out what the hell had happened to her voice. Lifting her head a bit, she parted her maw in a silent yip.

After done washing Nile lera turned to the ever curious Tobias. Man, her was growing every day. But that wasn't the point. She looked at his dark face and dappled fur. Her golden eyes into his blue ones. "My daughter has no voice, she is mute," she said, putting it very blutnly before looking to the pup. Her daughter probably didn't understand the word "mute" at all and it made Lera's heart ache to watch her try and speak. It was a futile effort.
Fleance slipped off his mother's stomach as his sister was plopped down by him. He leaped at her, hoping to cheer his seemingly dipressed sibling. He grabbed her ear and nosed her face, not seeming to notice Tobias who towered above him.

She would look to her mother, and cant her head a bit...she, for one, thought this was somehow natural for her...it was strange not to be able to talk, but she didn't seem to notice just yet. When her brother tackled her over, she fall onto her back, her hind legs shoving at her brother while he nosed at her.
Batting at his face, she would toss her head in unheard yips and yowls, a brush of air only hitting her sibling above her instead of a breath of a happy whuff. Her tail would wag against the ground despite all of this, not noting how her mother seemed so hurt because of her disadvantage in life...she had yet to understand it herself, so, of course, she wouldn't think it was weird for a while.

Watching the pups play, he contemplated this 'mute' concept. She couldn't speak? He wondered what it would be like to be mute. How would she communicate? Having not ever met a handicapped wolf before, he couldn't grasp it. Perhaps handicap wouldn't be the nicest word, however.
"It will make her stronger." He commented quietly, almost thinking aloud.
Looking at the tiny pups playing, he suddenly felt extremely aware of his now-prominent height. He felt a lot bigger than the other pups, like Kamali or Gizmo. He wondered why he was growing much faster, or maybe earlier than the rest of them.

Lexi: She leans her shoulder softly against Gaara, taking some comfort in his presense as she forces herself to relax, there's nothing they can do now but wait out the storm, even with the strange company.
"You smelled like him earlier, I noticed it when I was going to see Lera..." She notes. "You have a history with that one don't you?" She inquires. "Will you tell me about it?' She watches the pups play, saying nothing about the mute pup. The younglings enthusiasm, given her silence, is impressive, and if she can keep it, Lexi doubts her muteness will stand in the path of her being remarkable. "I think your daughter will be a very strong wolf. Silence has helped me out before...it's not expected..."
Bran: He watches the mute puppy's enthusiastic, silent barks with a slight, half mournful half amused look on his face. In a very roundabout way, he's a little sympathetic to the mute pup. He remembers when he first moved to his mothers country, before he was old enough to even settle on the idea that having been bitten repeatedly by a wolf was just the result of foolishness, he'd used to play up the tale as a mark of vallor, to show his pale aunts what a brave and powerful nephew they had. It had taken him a while to realize that the look on their face was nothing like admiration, but pity. There was nothing *wrong* with him that he hadn't been able to overcome, he could even fire a bow, in spite of the limitations of only having one eye...but it had never stopped them from treating him like half a man. It had been an enormous factor in his return here. The need to go someplace where his permanent tan didn't make him stand out in the middle of a cocktail party, and his missing eye and scarred face didn't make him a delightful scandal for young ladies to flirt with, but never EVER seriously. Goodness no. Of course there are some similarities to a cocktail party. He felt uncomfortably overdressed (given the warmpth of packed wolf bodies) the food was alarming, and the conversation wholey unintelegable. Yup. Just like a cocktail party.

"You're leaving.." She would whisper, her ears dropping slightly as she moved behind her father and curled up. Great, the first boy she liked was running off. Probably to see some girl and never come back. Giving a puppeh yawn, she would lick at her paw.
The alpha would sigh and glance to her daughter. She was acting weird. mp. He wanted to go near Lera, but thought she might bite his head off. Moving away form the two pups, he would plop down near Gaara and keep an eye on Bran. He wasn't sure if he should trust this human, but he trusted Gaara.

Kamali watched Haku go, and for some reason wished he hadn't! (hehe). His gaze flicked back to Keara, head tilting. "A..are you tired?" He let himself lay down, a bit away from her, in a spinx like pose. His tail curled around him and he watched her. He thought she was acting weird too, but.. well he thought most girls acted oddly biggrin .

The young pup snorted. "Of course not! I don't need to sleep." Giving off a yawn, she would roll her eyes and simply stare at him for a moment. "Why aren't you with you're mate.. That Ona girl?" Sighing, she would glance at the rather pretty female. How sad that Kamali was already taken. >>; It was her job to know the pack members, her father was alpha, after all.
The wolf continued to stare at Bran, before moving a bit closer to inspect him. All right, so he looked safe enough. Sniffing the human's feet, he would then back away, afriad of being kicked. he wondered if the human had any food with him...

Kamali's eyes went wide in shock as he glanced back and forth between Ona's sleeping form and Keara "w..what? Who said that!" He coughed, looking flustered and very much embaressed. He glanced around, shifting, tail flicking away from him.
He let out a sigh, trying to regain his composure. "Ona is not my mate. She is ... well I would like to think she is my friend. I'm too young to have a mate.." he told her all of this quietly, even more quiet than usual.
Paah! Mates. Ick. razz

"Are not!" She growled and pounced on him. "Even I'M old enough to have a mate. just can't have pups 'til I'm fully grown. Having a mate means you love someone." Rolling her eyes, she would tilt her head at him. "What's wrong with you? Wait.. your mate, is she purple? Daddy said something about a purple wolf that betrayed us."
