*Ran sighed a sigh of relief and smiled as Arianna came inside as well* Well you weren't gone long. What'd you talk about? *Ran's mood brightened as Arianna came inside. He didn't know why, but for some reason he felt better wheneve she was around. It was just some sort of comfort factor*

Arianna watched the girl and Mariata go outside. Wondering if Mariata would ask teh girl the same questions she had asked her not too long ago. She saw Ran smile at her and gave a warm smile back. She walked into the door way, feeling it would be rather rude to go back into his room without him saying it was alright. That wasn't the way her mother had riased her. "Lady Mariata and I talked about some things that's all." she replied. Wondering if she shoud telll Ran what she and Mariata had been talking about. She mentally shook her head no, the conversion between herself and Mariata would be only between them.

She nodded. "I suppose it would be difficult not knowing what your home town is. I've never faced that problem, since I don't really have a home town."

Arianna... *Ran looked up and then opened his table drawer* ..what do you think of this? *He slowly reached in and pulled out a closed hand, within it an object. As Ran held his hand out to Arianna, he opened his hand, palm up, and within it was the small crystal necklace with a silver chain that had be found*

Arianna blinked at the necklace. It seemed familar but couldn't remember where she saw it before. "Well..." she started to say as she continued to look at he necklace. "It is a nice necklace, but I know I've seen it before...but I can't remember where...now it's starting to bother me that I can't remember where I've seen it before...why?" she asked as her eyes looked from the necklace to gaze at Ran innocently.

I'm not sure but, for some reason, it seems to be important. *He shook his head and smiled at Arianna* I'm probably just being stupid but... *Ran reached out and took Arianna's hand. He thought for a moment to himself, then placed the small necklace in her hand* I want you to hold onto to it. *Ran released her hand and closed the drawer on his table. Arianna was an air human like that other girl was, so maybe she could help him figure out why such a small pendant could be so important*

Arianna looked down at her hand where Ran placed the necklace in. She felt herself begin to blush but why? He was only asking her to hold onto it for a while, nothing more. At first she wanted to wear the necklace, thatw ay she couldn't lose it but it felt wrong to wear something that wasn't hers. Arianna looked back Ran with nervous eyes. "Umm...alright. But I could lose it, are you sure you want me to hold onto this for you?" she asked still holding the necklace in her hands.

*Ran smiled slightly and nodded his head* Yeah, if I keep it then something might happen to it so... *His eyes shifted back down to the floor* ...please just hold onto it. *He felt kind of guilty, asking Arianna to do something for him. He would hold onto the necklace himself, but by carrying it with him, he couldn't help but always feel like there was a heavy burden. Of course, is was just the feeling of guilt that Ran felt. He knew what he had done now and regretted his actions. The least he could do, was to try and find out who to give the necklace to. Maybe the girl had a family member somewhere who would recognize it. If that was the case, then only Arianna or one of the goddesses would be able to give it to them*
