(( stare )) Chris Custard "No." He would be in her way. Who was He? The same man that stopped the earlier dragon thing, if anyone was paying attention. Lilith saw him. Lilith had no idea who he was, but if he didn't move, he'd be sorry, as she whispered the words and mades the gestures for a particularly nasty spell. Chris Custard But anyway. He still had his ninja hood on, in fact, he was still totally ninja'd out. His arms were firmly folded as he stood in front of her, clearly blocking her way. He seemed to just give off an aura of 'Don't ******** with me' and it would also seem clear he was a big fan of justice. The evidence for this support in what's right? The sudden abundance of his hand... Caught at the wrist and twisted painfully around his back, with her other arm coming around to wrap around his neck. Lilith may have been concentrating on remaining undetected, but that didn't mean that she wasn't minding her surroundings. He was also right in front of her. Who this person was and why he was trying to impede her was unknown to her, but the moment he tried to lay his hand on her, he would be in for a painful shock - and she might have herself a new toy. "You chose the wrong elf to ******** with," she purred in his ear, taking him for one of those back-alley rapists probably, even though he was decked out like a ninja. She released her spell. Quote: Slay Living Necromancy [Death] Level: Clr 5, Death 5 Components: V, S Casting Time: 1 standard action Range: Touch Target: Living creature touched Duration: Instantaneous Saving Throw: Fortitude partial Spell Resistance: Yes
You can slay any one living creature. You must succeed on a melee touch attack to touch the subject, and it can avoid death with a successful Fortitude save. If it succeeds, it instead takes 3d6 points of damage +1 point per caster level.

"Gehehe..."
Before she could start her little death spell, he already had a surprise planned should she had had something planned which apparently she did. It's not as if he would've given her the chance to do any chanting or gestures, but apparently she did anyway.
It's a shame she had decided to grab his wrist too, since she'd now have a large number of thin slices all along her hand. The presence of these tiny barbs also seemed to make the gloves quite slick, and easy enough for him to yank his hand out of her grasp before she could do any spinning of any sort.
So there they were, standing, facing eachother. He was nearly a foot taller than her, and also had a significantly longer reach. Of course, he wasn't gonna just reach over and grab her face, that wouldn't get him anywhere. He was still blocking her way, and trying to run away wouldn't get her anywhere.
It looked like she had no choice but to try and fight him. He assumed a basic brawling stance, left foot back, hands at cheek level. His hands, however were not fists instead just open palms.
"Shall we do this the mortal way?"

Enki Leviathan The little squirrel is flown across the room, hitting against an adjacent wall. But instead of falling, the squirrel rebounds off of the wall and attaches to the face of whoever just kicked it When a large heavy object strikes a creature with enough force to send it flying, then logically speaking, the creature in question should be in pretty bad condition. Similar to a vehicle moving at fifty miles an hour smashing into a person and sending them flying, if you change the size ratios a little bit, you'd get this situation where you have a little squirrel, and a very solid boot; one larger and heavier object smashing into a smaller, more fragile object to make it go soaring into the air. Now, seeing that the squirrel was in such good condition after the boot to bounce off the wall, and fly at least if not more of an equal distance as it had flown from the initial kick, then it would have to be some super squirrel or something. So, as it flew towards Decruda's face, just before it would stick on, meaning point blank range, he'd fire a needle into its exposed body, because how else was it suppose to attach itself to his face, unless of course, it had suckers on its back and face or something retarded lik that. Anyways, the powerful neurotoxin was designed to be sued against meta-humans and all that, so, against such a little critter, the effects should be instantaneous to knock it out. So, this magical underground city squirrel must be unique. So unique, that Decruda would keep it as a sample. He'd pick it up and then stuff it in one of the pouches in his belt and continue heading towards the elevator.

I don't have time for this, she thought to herself, glaring at the ninja. Hadn't she had enough trouble already just trying to get to the shrine? She narrowed her eyes at the ninja, specifically those barbed gloves. They would pose a problem for her, and she wasn't exactly equipped right now for a street brawl. That was all inside her travelpack, and she doubted the ninja would give her the time to put it all on.
Ignoring the small, bleeding gashes in her hand, she clenched her fists and stated, "Get out of my way, or else... Or else I'll scream!"
She looked serious, and even sucked in a beath, lacing it with whispered words of power. He really didn't want her to scream.

She wouldn't get to finish the word "Get" because he didn't really care whether or not she wanted to fight. He stepped forwards with his left foot and twisted his body, extending his right hand in a fierce straight.
Except his palm was still open, and it was aimed at her solar plexus.
Considering she was trying to speak, he doubted she'd have much time to guard, however there was nothing incredibly special about this straight, it was just fast and powerful and aimed to wind her.
His left hand would come whipping down over head and slap downwards across her face, likely slicing her face and shocking her immensely.

He's right; she didn't want to fight. She was hoping to get to the shrine without having to kill anyone. Doesn't look like that was going to happen now. She cried back as she was slapped across the face, falling back with gashes across her face. Silvery eyes glaring with hatred, they turned completely opaque white, taking in a breath with a whispered word, and then letting out a terrifying scream. Quote: Wail of the Banshee Necromancy [Death, Sonic] Level: Death 9, Sor/Wiz 9 Components: V Casting Time: 1 standard action Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels) Area: One living creature/level within a 40-ft.-radius spread Duration: Instantaneous Saving Throw: Fortitude negates Spell Resistance: Yes
You emit a terrible scream that kills creatures that hear it (except for yourself). Creatures closest to the point of origin are affected first. Their close proximity, plus the enclosing walls of the alley, would only serve to amplify the fatal, deafening sonic wave that blasted everything in front of her clear away.

There would be a loud slapping sound as vibrating air met an air-wall. Specifically, the air-wall was surrounding Him. It protected him from the whole killing effect, but unfortunately it didn't help him with the sudden air-blast.
He flew back a good ten feet, landed on his back and rolled backwards onto his side, sliding another few feet after.
"Ow..."
He climbed to his feet, panting heavily as he did. What had making that air-barrier done to him? A considerable amount of damage it would seem, though at least he wasn't dead.
"You're good..."
He took slow steps towards her, no longer looking aggressive.
Once he was within range, he extended a hand.
"What's your name?"

Lilith healed her wounds after sending the ninja flying back with her scream. Too bad it didn't kill him. Dropping her pack, she retrieved her mace as the ninja got back up and stalked toward her, casting a spell to augment her physical strength and size, and hopefully be on more par terms with this guy, since it didn't look like he was going to be leaving her alone anytime soon. He even had the audacity to ask her his name, which she would answer with a vicious strike at his hand with her mace, the ruby eyes of which sparkled. If it struck him, he would be dealt a sapping blow of negative energy, and she would follow it up with a backhand strike at his face. Not a good idea to have gotten her pissed. Quote: Righteous Might Transmutation Level: Clr 5, Strength 5 Components: V, S, DF Casting Time: 1 standard action Range: Personal Target: You Duration: 1 round/level (D)
This spell causes you to grow, doubling your height and multiplying your weight by 8. This increase changes your size category to the next larger one, and you gain a +4 size bonus to Strength and a +2 size bonus to Constitution. You gain a +2 enhancement bonus to your natural armor. You gain damage reduction 3/evil (if you normally channel positive energy) or damage reduction 3/good (if you normally channel negative energy). At 12th level this damage reduction becomes 6/evil or 6/good, and at 15th level it becomes 9/evil or 9/good (the maximum). Your size modifier for AC and attacks changes as appropriate to your new size category. This spell doesn’t change your speed. Determine space and reach as appropriate to your new size.
If insufficient room is available for the desired growth, you attain the maximum possible size and may make a Strength check (using your increased Strength) to burst any enclosures in the process. If you fail, you are constrained without harm by the materials enclosing you— the spell cannot crush you by increasing your size.
All equipment you wear or carry is similarly enlarged by the spell. Melee and projectile weapons deal more damage. Other magical properties are not affected by this spell. Any enlarged item that leaves your possession (including a projectile or thrown weapon) instantly returns to its normal size. This means that thrown weapons deal their normal damage (projectiles deal damage based on the size of the weapon that fired them).
Multiple magical effects that increase size do not stack.

Well then, this was a pleasant surprise. He simply turned his hand, meaning the mace would just sail past it. Since she was now so big and using a clubbing weapon, he would be considerably faster than her as well as more nimble. He would have no trouble in jumping and punching her directly in the face, especially since one hand would still be swinging one way, then trying to swing the other.
Since her weight was so high now, she wouldn't move back from the punch either, it would all be absorbed directly into her nose, with more than enough force to shatter her nose, the other fist would be directed at her right eye, likely blinding her.

((Look on the first page, Rasta.)) Righteous Might This spell doesn’t change your speed. How much faster would jumping and punching be than swinging an arm in the other direction? Said arm would swing back, parrying the punch as well as slapping the head of the mace across his face (unless he somehow moved his face away just quick enough). Her booted foot would come thrusting forward with a shoving kick at his chest to throw him back, and allow her a quick moment to cast her next spell.

Well, in any case, she would still have the problem of being punched in the face twice. The swing would miss because he was in the air, and punching her in the face.

Well, in that case, she would take the blows in stride, though the first one would still be knocked aside since her second swing was originally aimed to be higher, and her arm would be passing in front of her face. The second punch would get in past the swing, causing her eye to swell but not completely losing vision in it. It just made her angier. Her free hand - left hand - would shoot out to grab his leg and swing him into the wall at her left, followed by the mace coming back around again in a downwards swing to hammer him down to the ground.
