She staggered back a couple of steps, onto all fours again, and drove her long horns into his thigh. A yelp of pain escaped his lips as embers burst forth from his palm. the pain rapidly changed to fury, and he brought the knee of his uninjured leg into Izona's face. She slashed at him with two razor sharp claws, and retreated.

Aizel held both of his hands out in front of him, lava pooling in his palms, gathering enough to launch for a decent attack on the demon.

Rearing up, standing on two legs like a human, Izona's tail swept through the air, weapping itself around Aizel's throat. He gasped, caught unawares, the flames that he had been stockpiling flying up towards the high ceiling.

The pressure on his throat heightened, a few chocking sounds bursting forth from him as he vainly tried to suck in a lungful of air. Izona lifted him off the ground, slowly raising him until he was being held over her head.

Her head was tilted so that she was staring at him, even though it appeared that she had no eyes to stare with. A second later, once she had grown tired of literally leaving him hanging, she hurled him across the expanse of the room. He landed heavily with a thud, the momentum of the throw causing him to roll over a few times. She then dropped back onto all fours, barrelling over.

Izona leapt, landing directly on his chest, claws breaking skin and spilling blood. The fireball that Aizel had meant to sling at her came crashing back down onto the floor, sizzling into nothingness. The noise momentarily distracted the demon, but the second her attention was diverted was all that Aizel needed.

He roughly shoved her off him, scalding her body with another glowing orange orb. A few of her blu-ish scales dropped off, revealing more dull grey skin underneath. She twisted as she fell, so she was on her feet, instead of ending up sprawled on the tiles near the boy's toes.

When both were standing upright again, Aizel felt the familiar sensation of a tail coiling itself around his leg. He immediately became disorientated and confused, thinking of Laulella. He rather hastily snapped back to reality when he suddenly found himself suspended in middair, hanging upside down. A startled gasp burst from his throat as he began to redden. He could feel the blood rushing to his head.

Izona waved him about for a bit, as though he was a flag, before letting him fall face first onto the floor. He uttered a low cry of pain, as he felt her horns beginning to tear through the flesh on his back.

Growing bored of Aizel's recent lack of decent retaliation, Izona nudged and kicked at his weary body to get him standing up once more. Then she lashed out with both of her front legs - that were not too unlike a humanoid's arms - striking Aizel in the chest with a devastating nlow. Her tail entwinted itself around his neck once more, so that he would not be bowled over. When she had struck him, two loud cracks rent the air, as she fractured a couple of his ribs.

Rather foolishly, when her tail withdrew from his throat, he turned his back to the demon, clasping at his damaged ribs. With the same force as before, Aizel took yet another hit, but this time directly to his back. However, there were no sounds of bones crunching this time, as the metal that Electrothanasia had inserted into his spine did the job, whilst the attack hurt like hell, no more burns were broken.

Electrothanasia had been observing the fight from the observation room, and barked at Izona's worker to fend her off. She made her way over to Aizel once the demon had been dragged out, smiling slightly.

'How do you feel, Kasuka?' she questioned.

'...About as well as can be ******** expected,' he hissed.

Midian sighed at his bad language, and rolled her eyes. She started to guide him back to his room, when he slipped out of her grasp. He grunted as he sank to his knees, hands clasping at his broken ribs. But his touch just exacerbated the pain, so instead he allowed himself to fall forwards, resting on his hands and knees.

The dull ache that he had been feeling in his coccyx for so long had suddenly intensified, the same sort of pain as when his body had began to mutate. His fingers curled up as fire scalded the floor, as something started to grow out of his lower back.

A pained, enraged howl resounded throughout the wide room, the noise bouncing off the walls as the growth expanded. A couple of tears dripped from his glowing orange eyes, causing two small whirlpools to form. He edged himself away from them the best he could, as his tail began to grow, until it was nearly the same length as Izona's own.

He felt a gentle hand upon his shoulder, as Electrothanasia coaxed him back up onto his feet. She guided him out, and back to his room, and Aizel found that between his ribs and his tail, he was in too much pain to protest or struggle to break free.

Aizel rested on the table again, groaning in agony, not even noticing Midian pick up yet another serum.

'I got hold of this the last time you were asleep. I think it's safe to say your anger form's been successfully modified, and there's no need to keep you locked in it any more,' she explained, snatching up a syringe.

He let out a warning snarl as the needle drew closer to his throat, and Midian placed it back down again just long enough to restrain him to the table. One of the shackles pressed against his broken bones, and he hissed. She injected him, in spite of his snarls of protest, and a minute or so later, he finally, finally began to transform into his usual human appearance once more.

*MK and those accompanying him arrived within the walls of Karestra. They seemed to be on the B block, and within some distance of the Chamber of souls*
